I stay away from topics like these because rarely there is any debate, it's all about blaming someone or the other to justify and glorify the character one loves. However these two comments made me post here.

How sad but how true! There have never been truer words spoken on this medium, it is saddening to see the state of women in our culture. No amount of GDP growth, modernization, money, and superpower status can enlighten India unless we change our perspective of women.

Edit: And no I haven't read a single comment other than these two comments right here, so I obviously mean no offence to anyone since I don't even know what is being said on this thread.

You r right Ankita, Every relation no matter what gender has its limits, wheather it is before marriage or after marriage, Even i live in US, but non of my married or unmarried friends even the goras tell the opposite gender i love you and will leave my husband and kid even as a joke. Ishitha could not digest the fact that Raman gave credit to Shagun and not her but she expects raman to be ok with her anytime friendship with mani , When she think she can say i love to a guy then why cant she just accept about raman giving credit to shagun, afterall she was his wife and she was the reason he wanted to achieve that position.
