well written..i also do not think ishita's friendship with mani is wrong, but what is stupid in this friendship portrayal is the teenager kinda spin to it..moreover, a perceptive woman like ishita does not realise how insecure her husband is becoming over this friendship..she shud not have gone behind raman to sort out romi-sarika issue, the same way as she shud not have gone out in the middle of the night to meet param and earlier having gotten param-simmi home..there is no question of hiding things becoz of mani, she did the same things previously also.. she has a buddy, accepted and appreciated, but u dnt invite even ur buddy to smell a jasmine flower on ur hair in a party with ur husband standing around the corner..tht is just foolish and naive..i blame ishita for this behaviour, not the msgs or mani talks, tht is fine..she has dealt with actual blast from the past in ramans life in form of shagun, and i think raman walking out of a hotel with shagun in his arms was as traumatic if not more than hearing a clearly jocular discussion of leaving family for mani..we shud apply the same rules for raman as for ishita wen it comes to communication..the two of them refuse to talk things out, assume the worst and then mope over it, hurting each other..tht is just beyond stupidity, esp wen raman-ishita have overcome so many hurdles in the past..
raman is another character, he has no qualms painting ishita with the same brush as shagun..reminds me of Ross from FRIENDS who hit paranoid city after his first wife left him..is there no difference btwn ishita and shagun tht is perceivable to RKB? raman was fine wen he thought mani was sum avg joe, why? was he doubting ishita even then? there were no talks of leaving her family for mani then..he was still jealous..why is his wife not entitled to have a friend? has she done anything till date which has not been in his or his family's favour? raman has a habit of victimising himself, noted it during the accident track and even now..he does things impulsively and then cannot handle the consequences, blaming fate for it..very foolish of him..

Exactly!!
ishita..typical i will love him, no matter how he treats me.
puttar...should rename himself, rkb stands for raman kumar bechara. Victim mindset and mentality, which hs uses to take his spitefuless up a few notches. What is the difference between this behaviour trait of his and assok and shagun...pure spite.

but I would have put puttar at dumbest coz at least for 6 years shagun got what she wanted..status, money and a successful business. puttar kumar bechara, spent his time for the most part, when he got a second chance at love, doing what? Jackassry and taunts. Heck he would rather get keede on every hair in his armpits then confess even to himself he loves ishita but the dumbass didn't even let ishita confess how she feels about his, kept whittering on about the moon being out that karvachauth night😆. If he has let her speak, maybe, just maybe he would have stood a small chance of being able to question his doubting ishita long enough instead of his "bechara" victim attitude rolling over him and submerging him completely.

Dont forget the "poor innocent naive, pure sincere" Ishita Iyer kidnapped Ruhi... Oh! she was able to tell while in HER OWN BED that Ruhi was sick 50 feet away, but is too innocent to read her husband's explicit signals and expressions of irritation for a month now😉

Mericilessly humiliated him at the TV Station when the interview was telecast live... and mobilized the Mahila Mukti Morcha, 😳😳
not to mention most recently Ishita Bhalla FORCED her husband to have an affair with Sanjana😆😉

Sure!... if this is the order you wanna go with...😉

Well, if we're going back to the very beginning of the show to find faults in these characters, then:
Raman refused to even talk to his daughter on the phone for the first six years of her life
He accused Ishita of being of a gold digger, when her MOTHER was the one asking for his pay slip
He accused Ishita of cheating on him once before with the Param/Simmi thing
Allowed her to believe that he was supporting Shagun during the accident stuff

But we understand that there was some kind of logic (however twisted) behind that because DRAMA. It's a flipping tv show. The characters do dumb, idiotic, and straight-up cruel things in order to prolong the story.

So can we please stop villainizing Ishita for being naive and unaware? It's stupid, but it's just drama. Raman's being stupid too - not only is he so willing to believe Ishita is cheating on him, but he doesn't even confront her about it before acting like the victim?

The characters do dumb things for the sake of filling up a few episodes, because they have to make 6 episodes a week, on a tight schedule. I just don't understand why people are spewing so much venom towards someone who's only mistake is being unaware of something. Raman's doing more to prolong the misunderstanding than Ishita is! At least Ishita is trying, even if she does need it spelled out for her.

Agreed Ishita is a bit naive and not at fault (much) in this situation of Raman doubting on her. She did go a bit overboard at times. But she had only the best intentions at heart(in her opinion)
But i'm getting tired of people saying that Raman is measuring Ishita with the same yardstick as Shagun. If a normal man with no such history, wud have been served with situations like the ones he has seen, he wud have come to the same conclusion!! He isnt thinking that Ishita is betraying him coz of his past! Yes, coz of the past he's more hurt more vulnerable, and unable to confront her (which any normal man wud have done immediately) but he's insecure coz of that past too. he's lashing out on her coz of that, which is wrong but tell me, if any guy wud have been in his place wudnt he have come to the same conclusion???
