I've had a really tough time with the show this week (for the past few weeks, actually, but this week has been particularly hard)...it's breaking my heart, and I'm getting fed up with the MU that's being dragged on ...as we all are.

When I stumbled upon this one, the title itself made my chest tighten, and I literally had to prep myself before opening the thread to read it.

It's so sad how emotionally attached I am to these characters (The credit goes to the writers and more-so to the brilliant actors portraying the characters, I guess). I for some reason, am not able to disconnect, despite being extremely miffed at the track, I can't help but get carried away with IshRa's plight. Especially RKB this week...KP has delivered performances that force the viewer to live Raman's pain with him. And painful it is.

Anyway, getting back to this masterpiece of yours.

This is the first time an OS/SS/FF, etc., has made me cry.

Her heartbreak over his indifference and then mistrust...his battle between his past and his present, his heart and his head, the truth vs. his misconception.

"Still him, huh?"

"What are you doing here, Raman?"
"That's precisely what I'm trying to figure out."

"Raman you're hurting me."

"Not as much as you're hurting me."

..."Say those words...and I swear I'll let you go, now...and forever, if that's what you want, but you have to say them once. I have to hear those words from you."

"Leave me Raman"

"I will, now and forever, if you just say it dammit. Say you love him Ishita."

"He needs to hear her say it once so that the part of him that cannot stop loving her even as she betrays him can die at last..."

"The heart that will not stop loving her cannot stop wanting her believing she loves him with everything that she has, that she too feels the way he does...that longs to love her and be loved would finally have its faith reaffirmed and the moment it does, he would have everything he ever wanted and needed." (THIS is everything. It's everything.)

"You can't demand anything of me."

"I can and I will."

"You love me?"

"She had closed her eyes upon hearing his affirmation; it is all she had wanted to hear from him...that he loves her. It is all she seeked of him even as he continues to hurt her - with his words, his actions - both physical and emotional - those words made her heart skip a beat, those words gave her the world until she heard him finish." (THIS is also everything.)
"Forgive me if my experience has taught me that to trust blindly is to trust foolishly."

"Whatever I say now won't matter...because you've already decided you don't or won't trust me."

"You can't just end this discussion here."
"I can and I will"

Throughout, it was the battle of his what his mind thought to be true vs. what his heart knew to be true...hence his insistence that she answer him. To once and for all end the battle raging within him, as only she could. The final verdict lay with her. Beautifully depicted, Aani.

I dunno how you do it, but I'm glad you do.

I really really needed this after the week we've had. I can't thank you enough - for giving us the IshRa we crave...the IshRa we'll never see on screen. This just went to the top of my favorites list...I've read it numerous times already.

THANK YOU FOR THIS...and for sharing your immense talent with us. Looking forward to your next.

Oh Man Aani ! ..
I loved it. It was simple, realistic and apt to the point.
The best was that Ishita held her ground and she didn't even let out a word.
And Raman, well what to say about him. He was shown so desperate to hear it from Ishita. He wanted to give himself the peace of hearing it from Ishita's mouth.
I don't know if CVs could bring out such emotions, but what really matters is that I could visualise this scene and it is more than enuf for me to tide over whatever CVs show.

Edited : I agree with most ppl here Aani.. I think you should continue this.. with him attempting to woo his hurt wife..

I know you will do justice to it with your amazing skill..

But No pressure..because I understand that you need that thing to click to pen it down...
