This was a man who thought he was unlovable . nothing could have shown that better than this dialog of his .. he believed he was destined to be dumped .. what insecurity

Phew .. bhai bola toh hai . this is about being HERO .. this is about being THE MAN for her . this is about coming first ..

tonite .. Ishita by action put Mani first .. but in actuality she was putting Raman first .. her interaction with mani was about raman .. now just because he did not know this .. he misconstrued .. he had actually won .. but he called himself the looser

then when she goes up . they r in complete harmony .. in one look from her eyes .. he understood what she was saying ..

the other thing is . he always went when she called ..

but the most defining thing is .. at every juncture they were mistaken as a married couple .. & at no point of time did he ever refute it ..

must watch those .. its a beautiful highlight of their courtship

& when finally in that coffee shot where Sirf Ruhi ke liye was formulated & Tandon calls .. he tells Ishita .. this was no more an act .. it was reality they were in a relationship .. very telling IMO

Totally agree both are at fault in creating misunderstandings .. the impact is not in the who says sorry to whom rather that both realize they both are at fault and set about correcting the misunderstanding and realizing the root cause of these misunderstandings..Its not about Mani Shani or Shagun .. the cause is lack of communication and constantly hiding behind "SIRF RUHI KE LIYE"!

@Ruby .. agreed he has always been affected by her..all those scenes you mentioned spot on...beautiful events in their courtship and buildup of their relation!
