She did approach Raman first and if he was drunk, she can't be held responsible for asking her friend to help. She didn't do anything wrong in asking Mani for help. Only when one does something wrong, that they will try to hide it from others or hide upon being questioned. It's good that she held Mani back because it proves she is not trying to hide anything.

This track is seeming to take a turn where Ishita stays strong on her stand of not proving herself. But even then she shall stick around to show Raman that she is NOT Shagun. And at the same time Raman has begun to come to a conclusion that he's really not good enough for her. His anger and outburst is a proof.
