Part 2:

She left it incomplete and her words just trailed off. Mihika looked at her intently at those incomplete words trying to get her akka to speak it out.

Both of them snapped out as he voiced the immediate question standing at the door, "Kyun??? Kyun nahi chaahunga?"

Ishita turned to the door to find him staring at her with questions in his eyes. Her inquiring eyes weren't any less and wondered what on Earth had he meant by that.

He stood his stand and his eyes also confirmed what he said. Before Ishita could say or ask something to him, Mihir stepped in to Raman's side, distracting her. Raman was about to say something when Mihika pitched in, "Dekho akka, jiju has no problem...toh ab aap bhi maan jao..."

Mihika walked over to Mihir and he said before leaving the room, "toh its fixed...kal subah 10 ka flight hai to Coimbatore...wahaan se by road to Ooty...saare arrangements hogayi hai...bas aap dono packing karlo...chalo Mihu...humein bhi packing karna hai"

They went away hand in hand while Ishita stood transfixed to the spot of what was happening. And everything was happening so fast. Was it all slipping away out of control? What was Raman's reason for saying yes to this trip, to be precise honeymoon trip? Did he really want to...

Her thoughts trailed off and she focused on him when he was hesitantly trying to say something. She wondered what it was.

He closed the door and walked nearer while she was getting more confused every passing moment.

Unaware of her inner tremble and questions, he spoke up, "dekho Ishita, thoda ajeeb toh hai but humein yeh karna hi hoga..."

What was he meaning by "karna hoga?" Oh God how much more could he embarrass her! She smacked herself and him. It was an awkward situation and she couldn't even ask him anything clearly.

Even then she slowly managed to ask in broken sentences, "woh dono honeymoon pe jaa rahe hai Raman...I mean hum kaise...unnke saath...aap bina samjhe kuch bhi bol rahe ho?"

"Mihir ne mujhse baat ki iss baare mein aur maine usse promise bhi kar diya...toh hum jaa rahe hai bas...jaldi se packing karlo"

His words made her cringe in embarrassment further. She cursed under her breath and turned away a bit hitting her forehead with her palm. She said, "aiyoo murugan..."

Raman was quick to reply, "ab unne kyun pareshan karthi ho...main hoon na tumaare 24*7 bali ka bakra...mujhse bolo..."

She shook her head and ignored that voicing, "Mujhse bina pooche yeh sab kaise decide kar sakte ho aur woh bhi Mihir se baat karke...besharmi ki bhi..."

He snapped her short, "Yeh kya harr waqt besharmi ki ratt lagaake beiti ho...shaadi shuda hai toh honeymoon pe hi jaayenge na? issme kaise besharmi?? And BTW, Mihir mujhe bada bhai maanta hai...toh discuss karne mein kya problem hai? aur yeh matth kehna ke tum behnon ke beech yeh sab baatein nahi hoti...tumaare girly talks sab jaanta hoom main"

She turned back to him puzzled to the core about what this was about, "Matlab?"

She also wondered if he had heard her talks with Mihika.

He taunted, "HOO Jhansi ki rani ab tumhe inn sab ka matlab samjaata phirunga kya? mujhe life mein aur bhi important kaam hai..."

She glared at him while he added, "aise kya dekh rahe ho?? gurrna bandh karo aur packing karo"

She stood rolling her eyes at him while he walked out thinking, "yeh Mihir ka dimaag kharaab hai...warna iss bevakoof madrasan se apne love life keliye help maangta kya???"

A few hours before, at office, Mihir had met Raman saying that he had something very personal to discuss. With a lot of hesitation, he had told Raman that though Mihika is his long time GF and they are deeply in love, she was shying away from their consummation or perhaps it's a sort of fear in her. So he requests Raman to get Ishita to talk to Mihika about it and get her to understand that it was all normal in a marriage. To add some more masala, he also says that Mihika chases him away with a "CHEEE" each time he goes close to her which Raman could exactly relate to his own experience. Her elder sister hadn't even allowed him to sleep by her side. So he could imagine Mihir's plight. He pities with Mihir.

So Raman, without any forethought about what he would tell Ishita or not even thought about the ground reality of his own marriage, had agreed to Mihir. He had also given romantic advices to Mihir to make Mihika comfortable in the married life. Mihir had also indicated about the honeymoon trip and told Raman that Mihika would feel at home if Ishita and Raman came along. Away from home, Ishita and Mihika would also get space and time to talk about it as well.

Raman had tried his best to back out of the trip saying that he will get Ishita to talk to Mihika before they go on the trip and there was no need for their presence while on the trip but Mihir was almost pleading with his brother. With no other choice, Raman promised to go along and also convince Ishita to tag along with them.

So without a hinge about the truth of the plan, Raman and Ishita had fallen into the trap laid down by Mihir on one side and Mihika on the other side.

Raman knew that his Jhansi ki rani would take out a talwar to fight with him if he told her the truth with lots of clarity and would never agree. So he chose the other way out of just forcing her for the trip. He knew that she would obey him if he just stood firm in his decision to go.

Meanwhile Ishita misunderstood the whole drama. She feels that Raman wants to take their relationship forward. Well she does love him though she doesn't accept it openly and would also want to give their marriage a chance but even then finds it awkward wondering what and how they would tide through this weird phase. She is confused and also tensed about the trip.

Without a clue to what was going on around her, Ishita packed the bags. She was relieved of one thing. The Mahabharat seemed have stopped or atleast all were distracted when she told them that she and Raman were ready to accompany Mihir and Mihika. Little did she know that the whole Mahabharat was for that one green signal from her! Towards the evening, Mihika dragged her for shopping. As Mihika bought clothes for her honeymoon, she forced Ishita too into buying some suits and other dresses.

Next day she dressed up in a cream and violet salwar set which she bought. She sported a glow of a new bride and Raman wasn't complaining about it as she looked absolutely gorgeous. He just couldn't take his eyes off her even at the Airport. Mihir had to clear his throat a few times to gain his attention. That was proof enough to Mihir that their plan was already working perfectly.

Inside the aircraft, Ishita and Raman were in a row which was a few rows away from Mihir and Mihika's.

Till the air hostess instructed, Ishita was continuing her chit chats standing by Mihir-Mihika's seat.

Raman was restlessly waiting in his seat. He wanted to drag Ishita back to their row.

"yeh madrasan kitna baatein karthi hai yaar?"

He almost stood up to call her but then slumped back going against his own thoughts. But to his relief, the air hostess told her to get back to her seat.

She came and sank into her seat as if in disinterest. He enquired sarcastically, "hogayi saare baatein?"

She shrugged it off but he wasn't in a mood to let go of that chance, "Unn dono ka honeymoon hai yaar...kuch toh sharam karo aur unne akela chodo!"

"Accha?? Honeymoon hai unnka?? That's news to me!"

Her sarcastic reply to his mocking comment made him grin while she went on, "Waise aaj subah aap hi ne Mihika se kuch baatein karne ko kaha tha na?"

He felt caught in his own words as he had vaguely told her to do that but he hadn't told her the exact matter. He was also feeling awkward to tell her that and thought that the sisters would talk casually and then somehow broach on this topic.

His thoughts snapped abruptly when she enquired innocently, "And BTW, aapne yeh nahi bola ke main Mihika se kya baat karoom? Bas keh diya jaao Mihika se baat karo! Chal kya raha hai aap teenon ke beech mein haan??"

To switch the topic off that, he resorted to his taunt mode for a brief moment, "HOO madrasan apna jagga jasoosi bandh karo..."

And in a spur of the moment, true words from his heart came out impulsively. Perhaps his inner most wish, "thodi baatein apne pati se bhi karlo"

That stopped all her other thoughts and she looked at him, locking her gaze with his deeply.

Only the instruction from the airhostess to fix up their seat belts snapped them out of it. He helped her pull and wear it.

As the plane prepared for the take off, he noticed her sending up a silent prayer. All he heard was "Murugan" and the rest was a blur to him. Her hands were on either side of her seats clutching onto the hand rest tightly. From her body language as her head rested on the head rest and her closed eyes, he could sense that she was scared for the take off.

Oblivious to him, he placed his hand on hers to assure her that it was all going to be safe. In her state, she hadn't even realized his gesture then. But after the flight took off, she opened her eyes to notice his hand on hers protectively. She smiled at his sweet gesture and tried to retract her hand from under his but then he wasn't freeing it. Instead, he nudged her fingers and entwined hers with his.
