I like reading subbu thoughts for ishita. His idea to marry ishita fater giving a heir to his family is so cheap. he has never respected ishita, the respect which is depicted in raman every sentence and action for ishita.

I'm short of time to add the English translations. Please let me know if you'll are still following this fanfiction. Atleast a like, or so, so that I know where we stand. I'm obsessed with this fanfiction and it's disheartening when I eagerly check it it over and over again only to see no response at all. A like atleast or a comment once so that I know that you read it.

WE HAVE REACHED 8K READS AND 120 COMMENTS. IT'S A MILESTONE. OUR TREAT WAS CHAPTER 4!!!

Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla walked down the stairwell dressed in an astonishingly beautiful khaki designer embellished legendary with white embellished applique patch work all over lehenga and through out border, paired with designer sleeveless saree blouse. Nitya, Vishwa's fiance was as old as Ishita but lived in her fantasies, the one thing the harsh realities of life had snatched away from Ishita. Nitya had demanded a Bollywood wedding and Vishwa who considered himself to be madly in love with his fiance agreed to a Bollywood - Iyer fusion wedding. The important family members and guests for this big fat Indian wedding wedding were meeting up today, in a few minutes, to be precise. That meant that Ishita would be be forced to meet the women who had mocked her and her family for being dumped by Subbu. The women who had spread rumors about her, and had insulted her based on their baked knowledge. Ishita reminded herself that she was a married woman now, happily married with a daugher. She had nothing to fear of. She would be strong.

"Har waqt toh mujhe lecture deto ho, uss aurat ke samne tumhare mooh pe tala padta hai kya?" A furious Raman flashed in front of her eyes.

"Mere bete se ladne ke liye news station paunch gayi thi tum, ab kya hua hai tumhe ki uss aurat ki baath sun rahi ho? Jo maa hoti hai na beta, unko jab sherni banna padta hai tab woh bhi banna padta hai beta. Tum ab maa ho beta, Ruhi ki maa."

"Woh baanj nahi hai. Baanj woh hoti hai jiske paas bacche nahi hote, uske paas main hoon na. Woh meri mumma hai, Ruhi ki mumma."

"Meri biwi ho tum."

Ishita looked away as she wiped a lone tear, she would be Ruhi's mother today. She would stand up for herself. Today, she would be her own superhero, Ishita had decided. She would make Raman and Ruhi proud. With a tight smile she walked down the stairwell and joined the greeting party.

Chapter Edited by Dhara (@dsgirl)

Seven years ago Ishita's world had crumbled into the shreds of her broken heard whose scars were still visible today. Ishita was dumped not only by her fiance but her extended family too, not for being infertile but rather for being in a relationship with a guy for twelve years and then being successfully dumped by him. She wasn't marriage material anymore considered her orthodox relatives. Only she knows what they did behind closed door all those years. He had her way with her and now her wants out. Maybe she couldn't please him, they had said.

You do not have any other option but my Subbu does, get out of his life Ishita, his mother had said. And throughout this stood a girl who comforted herself. Though her Bala jiju went against his family and stood by her, she didn't want to cause problems in her elder sister's marital life. Her parents were busy fending for her and she thanked them for that.

As the days flew by Ishita was mocked, ridiculed and laughed at. She had stopped attending wedding ceremonies - her wound was fresh, or naming ceremonies - they were the harsh reminded of what she could never have, she stopped attending family get togethers to avoid the mockery they made of her and she stopped interacting with anyone from her part apart from selected people like her parents, sisters and Bala. Without realising it Ishita had sunken into a state of depression, where she cried her heart out, watched sad sitcoms, cried, skipped meals and stared into blank space. Less than a month into the break up Subbu's mother and come home with an invitation card - an invitation to Subbu's wedding. She claimed that her son wanted to get married immediately. Ishita met Subbu for these time that night, she had bawled her eyes out and asked him why he did this to her. Didn't he tell her that he would always love her, no matter what. She had asked him where his love of twelve years disappeared to. She had banged her fists on his chest and wailed like a mad woman. Only hours later when he had held her into his arms and kissed on her forehead had she felt repulsed by his touch.

She had pushed him away as if he has struck her. That night she had pulled the plug on the person she had known as Subbu. She had looked into the adjacent mirror, composed herself, fixed her attire and makeup and then looked back at him as of nothing had happened. She remembered having walked to him and as she stood in front of him, she had wished him a good life with his new wife. "Don't hurt her like you have hurt me, Nalini has always loved you. I'm sorry that I came between you'll."

Ishita had attended all of Subbu's wedding functions, right from the engagement till the reception party. She had smiled and laughed along with her jiju as if others had happened. She had wished his bride a good life. She had placed a peck on Subbu's cheek as she wished him goodbye.

Ishita had then focussed on her studies, taking up new courses and learning about kids. She moved into a hostel away from her parents and reminders of her past. Subbu had stopped affecting her. Later, she worked at an University Hospital with an internship of three years - her parents had moved to the vicinity during which Bala and Vandita welcomed their first son.

She remembered being called up by an ecstatic family as she prepped for a surgery, she had genuinely laughed for the first time in ages and thanked Murugan for showering his blessings on her sister. Shravan then was am integral part of her life, she pampered him to no end, he was her Shravu.

Shravu's naming ceremony had been a small affair when Ishita had named him followed by a reception party that Ishita chose not to attend, blaming it on her appointments.

Two years ago Ishita had over to Delhi, to work in Dr. Batra's clinic. The pay was astonishingly great and the work experience there would greatly affect her career graph. Vandita, Shravan and Bala themselves had located to Delhi a year ago. So the Iyer's too had relocated to Delhi. A year later she had met Ruhi who introduced her to her Raavan Kumar and the rest was history.

Seven years ago, Ishita had lost meaning for her life in this very place and today she vowed that she would get it back. The task at hand was nothing compared to being Raman Bhalla's wife. Nothing at all!

"What is that girl doing here?"

"What girl?"

"That one, who is standing at the top of the stairwell."

"Hottie. Figure to dekho hai. amazing body. Main toh fida hoon. Maa, mera shaadi karoonga, uss ladki se."

"Ishita Iyer? Subbu ki ex-girlfriend and almost fiance"

"Ishita Iyer. Seven years mein chehra nahi dikhaya hai, ab kaha se tapak gayi."

"Mooh kaha karke nikhil thi."

"Apne ashiq ke shadi pe aayi thi. Daayan."

"Ab vapas aayi hogi, Subbu ko jal mein fasane ke liye?"

"Nahi, Suna hai kissi ke saath chakkar hai. Sare ghar mein jiju, jiju laga rakha hai."

"Dekho toh zara. Look at how she's standing there with her body on display."

"Theme bollywood hai, sabne lehenga pehla hua hai."

"Wo lehenga kahi dekha hai meine... Haan."

"Vandita ki saas, what is that girl doing here?"

"Nalini, how can you keep your souten in the same house as your husband."

"Shaadi ke ghar mein kam drama hota hai jo isse utha laayee."

"Sorry, mein late ho gayi. Nitya, woh Meri Maa project ke liye ek final video approve karna tha aur Ishita - Ruhi, pera matlab Tammy ki best friend ki mom busy hai aur uske papa ne unka jo introductory segments approve karne ko kaha hai and mujhe yaha pe ek computer bhi nahi dikh raha. Segment to abhi approve karna hai." ranted a hyperventilating Ragini, "Ah. Projector. Kya mein use kar sakti hoon, please?"

"Haan, beta sure."

"Kaun thi voh?"

"Anmol Agnihotri ki wife. Industrialist Anmol Agnihotri."

"Mere friend hai voh. Ye kya iski biwi and uski biwi laga rakha hai? " contradicted Nitya.

"Iski biwi, uski biwi chodo. Woh Ladki jo upar khadi hai, apki behen ki saut hai. Apke jiju ka pehla pyaar hai voh aur pehla pyaar bulaya nahi jaata, Nitya."

"Main bhi Vishwa ki doosri biwi banne ja rahi hoon, yeh toh nahi ki Vishwa mujhe kabhi pyaar nahi karega. Karta hai voh mujhe pyar."

"Vishwa apne pehle biwi ke saath 13 saal saath nahi raha. Jaise Ishita aur Subbu."

"Ap log band bhi kar sakte hai yeh tamasha. Meri shaadi hai, Ishita pe based koi film nahi ki jabse aaye hai, yeh Ishita Ishita laga raka hai. Voh 7 years baad aayi hai, aapke hi ghar ki beti hai. Kya pata hai uske batein mein?" Nitya continued.

"Yeh thodi shaadi ka ghar hai. Parivaar mil rahe hai. Koi naach gaana nahi. Ishu ke shaadi mein toh dulhe ke parivaar ne toh poore functions sar pe utha liye the aur yeh dekho soona soona sa mandir. Chalo, somebody dance."

A heavily pregnant Vandita interrupted the discussion before either turned into an argument.

Ishita was initially hesitant on going back to their ancestral house. It was Bala who convinced her that she had to forgive and forgive and make peace with all the in her past inorder to start afresh. He had emotionally blackmailed her by asking her for advice if it was Ruhi in her place. She had complied. She had agreed to participate but not to make peace with her past, but rather to be there for her cousin and finally meet her grandmother an others who stood by her in her time of need. Vandita felt horrible for requesting Bala to convince Ishita into arrive with them, she too had asked Ishu to accompany, what if she delivered during her visit, Vandita had posted a serious query. Ishu had complied. And the treatment she received here was atrocious, as if her only sister was worse than an animal kept in a zoo.

Ishita walked down the stairwell. On reaching the foot of the stairwell she was pulled into a crowd of people who prepped themselves to dance as per Bala's, yes Vandu we will dance. Don't stress yourself.

Thug le played. The popular song from a Yash Raj rom com. Romi initiated the dance being backed up by the family boys, the girls pushed Ishita forward. She too joined the danced along. Romi, her devar was her friend before her devar. They had so many relationships bound into one. Sometimes she was his mother figure despite being a year or two older than him, at other times he was her protector like the time when he protected her from that leech. He was the Bhalla laadla who feared his elder brother more than his parents. It was Romi-Ishita against Raman on various situations. Romi was a loving boy, who had dealt with the harsh realities of life that his brother had faced. He was scarred by the wounds inflicted on his brother. Such was their brotherly love. Rome, Ishita concluded was a right boy who found himself at the wrong time in messy situations and being the player that he was gave cause to many misunderstandings. Like the recent Sarika incident where Romi fancied a girl turned tables on him and had tried to pin Ashok's love child on him. Raman's past once again haunted Romi.

If Ishita had to be bluntly honest, Romi was her confidante in the Bhalla house. A doting uncle, loving son, immensely protective brother. If Raman was the papa bear to his siblings, Romi was the Mama bear, forever nurturing their needs. While Raman took care of his sibling by force and authority, Romi took care of them with love and care. He treated Ruhi like his own daughter and had a major attachment to her daughter. Ruhi Chuhi was his girl. The one he would fight against the world. His doll. His world revolved around his niece given the fact that he had successfully captured her whole life till now.

[YOUTUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEYXdZ_rVbo[/YOUTUBE]

Ishita and Romi playfully argued over the last bit of the song.

"Bhabhi, bhai se baath ki?"

"Kis baare mein?" inquired Ishita as she fetched herself a glass of water.

"Reunion trip, bhabhi. Bataya toh tha aapko." Romi whispered.

Ishita pretended to ponder over it for a while, then smiled and said, "Baath toh ki thi. Raavan ne permission bhi di tho. Ab kya hazam nahi hua hai usko."

"Sach mein bhabhi? Sacchi?"

"Haan baba. Why would I lie to you? Apne bhai ko phone laga lo. Abhi line pe lati hoon."

"Woh. Actually bhabhi. Woh kya hai, mein karoonga bhai se baath. Ap rehne do."

"Sure?"

"Haan, sure.."

Romi couldn't hold his excitement any longer. He hugged his bhabi, gave her a peck on her cheek, twirled her around all whilst saying, "I love you. You are the best, sach mein. Sacchi." And then proceeded to run out of the room.

Ishita shook her head, "Paagal." "Arreh. Kuch kha bhi lo." She called after him.

"Raste pe kha lunga. Apko ko photo bhi bhejna. Promise. Jaane bhi do na."

Raman Kumar Bhalla was furious. His younger brother was a fool of the first order. He was given one simple task, get permission for his stupid trip from Ishita and make sure that Ishita called Raman up to inform him of her decision. That fool had called Raman up a few minutes ago with, "Bhabhi said that she spoke to you. You granted permission. What is this bhai. Pehle kehna tha na. I will be late now. Aap bhi." Raman felt like punching his brothers aap bhi back into his mouth. That moron. Bhabhi ka chamcha. Uss madrasan ne sabko apni taraf kar liya hai, Raman grumbled.

"Oh Murugan. Did you see that. Voh ladka kaun tha? Usne Ishita kiss bhi kiya."

"Kahi voh toh nahi jis ke saath Ishita ka chakkar chal raha hai."

"Haan aaj kal older woman - young man ka trend jo chal raha hai."

Hey Hey... Ey Ey...

Tumhe Pata Toh Hoga, Tumhi Pe Main Fida Hoon

[You would already know that I'm madly in love (dying/sacrificed on) with You]

Tumhe Hai Jabse Chaaha, Hawaaon Mein Udata Hoon

[Since I have loved You, I'm flying in the air]

Tumhi Mere Har Pal Mein, Tum Aaj Mein, Tum Kal Mein

[You're there in every moment of mine, You're there in today and tomorrow]

Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one (My sweetheart)!]

Mihir entered the dance floor accompanied by Mihika's cousins who as instructed by Bala danced along with him. Mihir was always the shy one, too shy to publicly claim his affections, his love's buddu, buddu. Yet Mihika stood here in the home she hadn't been in a long time. Post the whole scandal that rocked her life. He wanted to shut the mouths. He didn't want to be hurt. If Bhai crossed all limits to protect his Bhabhi, Mihir had decided that he would protect his Mikku. He would build up all the courage he had and tell them that Mihika was his. Only his and no one, no one could ever lay a finger on her. The request to dance was a golden opportunity he couldn't let go, he remembered shaking a leg or two with his bhai and decided that he would take up the opportunity. "Jai Mata Di," was what he said as he entered the dance floor, in all his Punjabi glory.

Tumhe Pata Toh Hoga Ke Mere Dil Mein Kya Hai

[You would already know what's inside my heart]

Chalo Kahe Deti Hoon, Kabhi Nahi Jo Kahaa Hai

[Okay, now let me say which I have never said before]

Tumhi Mere Har Pal Mein, Tum Aaj Mein, Tum Kal Mein

[You're there in every moment of mine, You're there in today and tomorrow]

Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one!]

Mihir back hugged Mihika who placed her arms over his as they swayed to the music. She held his hand and walked along with him, grooving all the way.

She remembered the first day she had met this guy. She would have never dreamt that he would fall in love with her. He wasn't her perfect type either, but had moulded himself to be her perfect. She thanked her stars for giving her such a man, a man who loved her unconditionally.

Tum Jo Ghussa Bhi Karo Toh Mujhe Pyaar Lagata Hai Jaane Kyun

[Even if You show Your anger then also it feels like love, I don't know why]

He was as calm as a coconut.

Main Toh Jo Bhi Kahu Tumhe Ikraar Lagata Hai Jaane Kyun

[Whatever I do, it seems to You as if I'm expressing my love, I don't know why]

She was a total gundi, jangli billi, Raman jiju had named her.

Chhodo Bhi Ye Ada, Paas Aake Zara, Baat Dil Ki Koi Keh Do Na

[Leave this grace(style) of Yours be, come near me and tell me some talk of the heart]

Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one!]

Saari Duniya Ko Chhodake Maine Chaaha Hai Ik Tumhe

[Leaving the whole world, I have just loved You]

Maine Zindagi Se Maanga Hai Toh Sirf Maanga Hai Ik Tumhe

[I have asked just for You from this life]

Abb Isi Chaah Mein, Abb Isi Raah Mein, Zindagi Bhar Mere Tum Ho Na

[Now in this desire, in this road, You're there with me for lifelong]

Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one!]

In the end other than the Bhalla's Mikku was the only family he had and together they would start over, build a family and home of their own. He could go through any obstacle in life, they had gone through worse situations than what would ever come. Mihir admired Mihika as she danced away. She was all that he needed in life.

Tumhe Pata Toh Hoga, Tumhi Pe Main Fida Hoon

[You would already know that I'm madly in love with You]

Tumhe Hai Jabse Chaaha, Hawaaon Mein Udata Hoon

[Since I have loved You, I'm flying in the air]

Tumhi Mere Har Pal Mein, Tum Aaj Mein, Tum Kal Mein

[You're there in every moment of mine, You're there in today and tomorrow]

Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one!]

Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona, Hey Shona...

[Hey... Lovely one!]

Hey Hey... Ey Ey...

Vishwa initiated the next, along with a few it others. "Ab Toh Forever" played as they grooved the audience to the song. He danced on the stage along with Ishita. Ishita - his baby cousin, the girl who was the closest to him that was now an enigma to him. He was young boy when a newly born Ishita was handed over to him. He had been so proud, no other cousin was allowed to touch or hold Ishita but him. He had fallen in love with her doe eyes and cute nose and the way she pouted. The hairless baby had transformed into a beauty as time passed by. Vishwa still remembered the amount of Boys he had chased away, he had failed to scare Subbu away. Vishwa had lost his wife around the time that Ishita's life turned into turmoil. Vishwa, a political figure back then had lost his wife in a political stampede. His wife had always requested him, begged him to quit the political nonsense and be as powerful as he would but not on the front lines, Vishwa had never taken heed of her words, he had just brushed them as a loving wives worries. Until the day he had lost his wife, he remembered having wept in front of any and every diety begging ever god to help him rectify his mistake, to bring his wife back, but to no avail. He had been a mess then, and he still was. He had failed to see through the brave smiles Ishita put in front of him, until he had learned of Ishita's breakup. He never had liked Subbu, that brat who had brainwashed his baby into a relationship before she even knew the meaning of that phrase. The elders shrugged off his cries, they are kids they had side, they are having fun in their childhood. And it were those same adults who had shunned Ishita 12 years later. Vishnu had beaten Subbu up when he had heard the news, beaten him till was hospitalized. And the nerve of the guy who had married as soon as he was discharged.

In his own problems Vishwa had forgotten all about the world and even his doe eyed baby. Ishita's situation had cemented Vishwa's thoughts about the unfair harshness of fate. Despite her problems Ishita had helped him get back on his feet and he had failed to realise that her eyes twinkled no more, her smile no longer reached her eyes, she laughed no more nor did she make an attempt to dress herself up. He had failed to see behind the motive when Ishita had chosen to continue her studies instead of enjoying the break she had taken for her wedding which wasn't happening anymore. He had decided that she was trying to move on in life. He should have known better. That was the last time he held Ishita in his arms as he wrapped her in his arms and cried with her. She had told him to be strong and to move. He had failed to see the goodbye speech in his words.

And Ishita had disappeared. No words said and no excuses given. The girl who had left on the pretext of studying refused to come home. He had been ecstatic on hearing the news that Vandita had conceived, he would meet Ishita he had thought but Ishita had skipped the functions or the functions were privately done and Ishita had refused to gathered the gatherings later. Be it Shravan's first birthday or the next.

Madhavi chitti had refused to talk about her daughter. Everyone said that she was embarassed of her and refused to show her any where. He had screamed at the ladies who had attended his wives anniversary when they had started bitching about Ishita for the first time in front of him. It was as if his wife opened his eyes, for the first time he understood why Ishita stayed away. His heart went to her who suffered when the culprit and his mother showed off their to be heir to the family who resided in Nalini's womb. And as much as he stayed away from Nalini's he had liked her little sister. Despite the age gap the girl made him smile, no he wasn't madly in love with her then and nor was he now. She had helped him move on, he loved her - not madly, not desperately but just enough to help them get by. Nitya understood it, she'll love him more to even it out she had joked.

The family had first heard about Ishita who had participated in Shravan's thread ceremony. No one knew what had transpired between Subbu's mother, Subbu, Nalini, Madhavi and Ishita but all they had heard was that Madhavi for the first time had yelled at her elder daughter's mother-in-law requesting her to leave her daughter alone, that she didn't need Subbu in her life, she had another man. And upon their taunts Ishita too who had initially told her mother to keep calm had confirmed the same.

He remembered Bala's mother arrive the next day along with her pregnant daughter-in-law and younger son. Nandini had laughed recollecting the statement. Bala's mother had bluntly called Madhavi a liar.

It was months following that, like a clockwork Shravan had visited their ancestral home for the first time since he was born along with his parents. Vandita and Bala had come home to visit a bedridden Paati. Ishita didn't arrive with them this time either. Vishnu found him torn between anger he felt for the situation he was in and towards Ishita and the urge to try to understand her.

It was one of those evenings when the whole family had gathered for an evening get together that a friend had visited inquiring about Ishita. She had seen her at a popular resort heading into a room with an unknown man, she had said. The lady's word had ignighted another scandal to accompany the ones already tagged to her name. The lady claimed to have seen the man quite often in the news and had claimed to see Vandita and Bala with them. When asked about Vandita and Bala tended to seem aloof about the fact. The lady had then started pointing on Ishita's character to which Bala and Vandita who were contact with Ishita said nothing, she doesn't need to explain anything nor do we, was what they had said.

It was when the lady in an attempt to show-off her new phone had passed around her the picture clicked by her, it was Shrav, who had come to fetch his ball, who had taken the phone and identified the man as "Ruhi ke papa" and inquired why the lady had pictures of his Chitti and her family. It was Paati with tears in her eyes who had asked about Ishita to which Vandita had stated that Ishita had married well in Delhi. She had a well to do life and is a mother to a little girl whom she and her husband adore. Her miracle. Vandita had further requested to abide by Ishita's decision and keep away from her life and had requested them not to taint her family with their bitterness, they didn't need, a taste of it sufficed, she had said harshly.

Paati who had taken it upon her self to med all the wrong before she left this world arranged Vishwa to be married to the girl of his choice, not minding her family or connections. Paati just wanted to confirm for herself that both her grandkids were happy and content in their lives. She had then ordered for Ishita to be brought home, she had enough of this drama, she knew that her time would soon come and she wanted to meet her great grandson-in-law and her great granddaughter. It wasn't just about Ishita anymore. She wanted to clear the ground for Ishita, something she had decided to to let time take its time on, the sad fact was that she was running out of time. And that was how Vishwa's marriage was set along with Ishita's arrival.

The song ended as Ishita landed in Vishwa's arms. He had proceeded to tickle her as she giggled in mirth and tried to get away from him.

"Mikku. Tum log kab aa gaye. Aur Ruhi. Ruhi kaha hai?"

"Voh.."

"Ishita akka. Aapko kitchen mein bulaya hai." a voice called out.

"Mikku. Mein abhi aati hoon."

Little Ruhanika was lost in the huge house her mother grew up in. She squinted her eyes searching for her Mama. There were people everyone, she thought in awe. It's exactly like a film set, I should invite Dadi, she would loved this. She held on to her "clingy purse" her Mama invited she carry when she travelled without her Mama so that she had all her important things with her. She still couldn't spot her mother even after getting on her tippy toes. Instead she spotted a bunch of ladies and a baby, they would know where Mama is, she decided as walked towards them.

"Arreh. Yeh toh baby hai. Boy hai? Kitna cute hai. Shravu kehta hai ki uski bhi aisi little sister hogi. Voh ab uske mama ke tummy mein hai na. Iska naam kya hai? Wait. Don't tell me. Name tamil mein hoga aur mujhe tamil toh aati nahi. Mama ne nahi sikhayi. Paani se agli bar seek kar aungi tab batana okay. Uffo. Main toh bhool hi gayi, apne mama ko dekha hai? Abhi toh yahi thi chachu ke saath, ab jaise... Woh kya kehte hain, yes. Kumbkaran ke mele mein kho gayi." The adorable little girl puffed her fringe away.

The adults at the table were blown away by her adorable ness.

"Apki mama kaun hai beta?" Nalini asked the child in front of her.

Ruhi spotted Vandita and ran and stood right in front of her, "Baby ne phir se kick mara? Mujhe sun na hai."

"Nahi mara." Vandita pouted back at her niece who pouted at her.

Mihika spotted her, and squealed "Dekho. Yeh toh Ruhi hai. Ishima ka baby yaha kya kar raha hai."

"Baby ne kick nahi mara. Mein mama ko Search kar rahi thi. Aapko pata hai Mikku Chitti, vaha par toh baby hai. Mujhe uska name bhi nahi maloom."

Mihika, picked Ruhi up as she lead her to where the baby was. Paati recognised Ruhi thanks to the earlier footage.

"Arreh. Yeh toh Ruhi hai."

"Voh toh main hoon. Ruhi Bhalla." She relied with a smirk showing off her teeth. "Mikku Chitti, yeh kaun hi."

"Paati."

"Par meri Paati toh ab tak yaha nahi ayi." Ruhi knotted her eyebrows in confusion whole everyone giggled at her response.

"Yeh tumhari mumma ki Paati."

"Oh." Ruhi took in the information wide eyes.

"Hi Mamma ki Paati, mein Ruhi hoon."

"Pata hai."

"Haaaw. Kaise?"

"Hum toh nahi mile."

Ishita who had just decided over the menu walked into the main room, pining for her daughter and ahem, husband only to be spotted by Ruhi who turned to her and screamed, "Mamma, Ishima aaa mein yaha hoon."

"Mera Ru baby. Mama ke paas kaise. Rooh ko toh school hai na." Ishita pouted, habitually scanning Ruhi for wounds and non existent scratches. "Aap ko kahi choot(hurt) toh nahi aayi na. Mera baccha."

"Maine mama ko bohot miss kiya. First time Ruhi se door gayi thi Ishima."

"Maine bhi mere Rooh ko bohot kiss kiya, Ishima bhi apne rooh se first time door gayi thi na," Ishita said as she playfully knocked her nose with her daughters. "Ishima ka huggie kaha hai?"

"Yaha pe," Ruhi squeezed Ishita into a hug as tightly as her little hands could, Ishita carried her.

"Ru. Yeh bilkul no fair. Aapne Chitti ko hug nahi kia."

"Din mein sirf ekich milega, no muft muft muft. " Ruhi said as she hugged Mihika while her mother still carried her.

"Awh mera baby. Par ye toh Shravan ki line hai na."

"Mikku Chitti. No fair."

"Yeh kaun hai, kiska adorable baby hai ye." Vishwa asked as he playfully tickled Ruhi who giggled at his attempts.

"Vishwa. meet Ruhanika Bhalla, Raman aur meri beti and Ruhi, yeh hai Vishwa mamu, Mama ka cousin brother. Jaise tum aur Shravu ho."

"Ruhanika Bhalla,"

"Meri choti punjaban."

"Nahi, papa kehte hai ki mein mama ki tarah mini Madrasan hoon, bas mama ki tarah lecture nahi dena chahiye."

Vishwa put his head back and laughed heartily. He liked this kid.

"Toh apke papa mama ko Madrasan bulate hai,"

"Yes. Aur papa humare Kud Kud Kumar hai. Hai na mamma? Poor papa, uski dono ladies toh yaha hai. Mama, papa bore hogaya toh?"

"Apke papa toh Kud Kud Kumar hai na, woh kaise bore jo sakte hai."

"Ab samjha kyun Shravan har waqt Vandita ke piche pet name pet name kehte ghumta hai. Ishita tum bhi na. Vaise kab aa raha hai tera yeh Kud Kud Kumar.

"Sorry Vishwa, woh is hafte overseas ja raha hai. Aur uske baad toh Ruhi ke vacations hai na, we are trying to clear out schedules take hum humari princess ko ghoom ne le chale."

"Paati, dekho. Ishu gharelu ban chuki hai. Pati. Baccha. Office. Schedule. Bleech."

"Aapko yaad dila doon ki aap bhi vahi karne jaa rahe ho."

"Ruhi. Apke mumma ke favourite bhai se friends nahi banna. Ek kam karte hai, tum muje apne mama papa ke batein mein batao. Mein tumhe tumhare mumma ke barein mein batata hoon. Cool? Tumhara snacks he ho jayega?"

"No embarrassing stories, Vishwa." Ishita warned.

"Ishima mein papa ko nahi bataungi. Promise. Ruhi wala promise."

"Aur papa ki tarah embarrassing stories ke saath bilkul blackmail nahi chalega."

"Papa serious nahi the. It was so funny. Papa jab bored hote hai toh voh video dekhte hai."

"Roo."

Give me a song to have the first IshRA dance on, possibly a duet. I tried Meherbaan but it was toil romantic and I shall save it for towards the end.

Which was your favourite chapter? Mine was chapter 4. It was so much fun to pen down and a really fun read for me.

This just gets better with each chapter. The way its unfolding, I feel like I'm watching a movie😊
As for a song for IshRa, here are a few suggestions..
Khuda Jaane from Bachna Ae Haseeno
Zehnaseeb from Hassee to Phassee
Banke Titli Dil uda from Chennai Express
Bol na Halke halke from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom

Its going so good, so much so that I didn't mind the Hindi dialgoues either! The way you move from one scene to another is swift. It seems so effortlessly and the songs amidst the narration was beautifully depicted.
Ishq bulavaa from hasee to phasee is one of the subtle romantic to start off with and manwa laage is my favorite nowadays but the girl is more interested in the guy according to the lyrics so guess that won't work. Subhanallah from yeh jawani hai deewani perhaps?
If if nothing works out, use the song from the show, Teri galiyan :D
