BONUS CHAPTER #1
"She's the best thing that ever happened to me!" Raman Bhalla talks about his wife and daughter and all that that you need to know about his NGO's maiden venture 'Meri Ma'. Corporate Mogul Raman Kumar Bhalla didn't just take the corporate world by fire but also won the hearts of the masses as he announced his involvement in yet another social cause. Raman Bhalla, 33, owner and CEO of several multinational corporations raised the bar yet again as his PR team announced his involvement in the NGO's maiden campaign. Known for strongly standing up for his beliefs, the popular charitable icon took it upon himself to announce his maiden campaign earlier this year.
Dedicated to motherhood and the joy it brings 'Meri Maa' took up serious and controversial topics including infertility, surrogacy, rape, single motherhood, abusive relationships involving the mother and child, adoption and so on. Along with receiving accolades for the thought process involving the ideology, "Meri Maa" was also seen to be on the receiving end of severe criticism post it's announcement. "RKB is aware of the power he wields in the society, with due consideration to his previous involvement in social causes, 'Meri Ma' is a risky issue that goes against the basic norms of the society we live in," CBN announcer S. Jha quoted. "Money may get away with the likes of RKB with his beliefs, but he who has no idea of the world 75% of our population lives in has no legitimate say in what is right for the masses and what's not. We are still a third world nation suffering from malnutrition and poverty. He could deal with these issues at hand instead of motherhood and women," said Mr. Sen, political leader for the opposition national party during the discussion held on Mr. Bhalla's campaign.
Despite severe allegations thrown at 'Meri Maa', the NGO went forth to help uplift more that 1000 rural mothers and women a month into its announcement not only granting them freedom from abusive relationships but also providing them with monetary support, education for their wards, jobs and other amenities contradicting the initial statements made by critics. The nation also saw to a minor but notable decrease in abortion rates four months into the announcement. 'Meri Maa' was later seen backing up several talk shows in bringing into light the atrocities against women and mother, winning accolades as the campaign was further backed by several media personalities causing quite a stir when it came to the masses.
Signifying Meri May's first step in to the world of glamour and taking up mainstream media the NGO announced the campaign's first ever charitable week during which the organisation planned to take a step ahead when it came to the cause it fought for. Now, officially backed up by every NGO's, influential personalities and the 'am admi' alike Gurukul Educational Trust acted as the base for the first ever mother-daughter even promoted by the organisation with Dr. Ishita Iyer and her daughter, Ruhi, all set to unveil the event. Iyer previously shocked the attending doctors at the International Medical Conference when she chose her daughter, Ruhankika, refusing to hear or even the consider the second option put forth.
Further stunning every one and popping eyeballs RKB showed just how dedicated he was when it came to 'Meri Maa' when Shagun Mehta's settlement case was taken up by RKB's personal legal team. Socialite Shagun Mehta, single mother to a eleven year old Aditya, demanded a settlemenot from ex-boyfriend Ashok Khanna, industrialist, citing that she deserved what was left of Khanna' fortune. "He (RKB) is a great man," said Miss Mehta post the courts decision granted in her favour. "He (RKB) isn't even on talking terms with Miss Mehta yet he has shown mercy despite her previous allegations against him. He has once again proven that he's not only as ruthless as they get but also a fierce alpha male when it comes to achieving whatever he has set his eye on," quoted a source.
In conversation with Satyabhama Ray, RKB revealed the inspiration behind his 'righteous drive' was his five year old daughter. "She is just like her mother, my wife. If she's annoyed with you she'll place her hands on her hips, blow her fringe, huff and puff and stare you right in the eye, it's almost scary," said Mr. Bhalla as he chucked at his own statement.
The billionaire baby daddy then added, "And my wife, she sees the right in every wrong; hope in every failure and being an optimist at her best, she just doesn't know the meaning of giving up. She's an amazing woman with so many qualities hidden within her - a true enigma- and I admire her for that. Okay, I'm never going to hear the end of this," as he proceed to flaunt his rare dimpled smile and then chuckle as he buried his face in his palms.
When asked about his dedication towards the conception of Meri Maa, he openly claimed that 'Meri Maa' was a project inspired by the bond shared by his wife and daughter. "They're beautiful. Meri Maa goes to the first time my baby called out to her mother. It goes to the tears shed by my wife as she grabbed our daughter in what seemed to be a bone crushing hug. It goes to the unbreakable bond they share. The fiery protectiveness that comes forth when you corner one. If your corner the mother you deal with an angry but vicious cub and if you dare to corner the baby you are attacked by a lioness out for blood. It goes towards their love, sacrifice, friendship and beyond everything the relationship shared by them that manages to awe anyone and every one. It's always them against the world. And as our daughter shows off, they are like this and I am this.." RKB, with a light grin on his face crossed his middle finger over his index finger and then crossed his ring finger over the previous two.
The proud father of a little girl then went forth to answer to what made him approve the first even as a mother-daughter event. He said, "Because my daughter, she's the best thing that ever happened to me,"
The ruthless and feared RKB is rightfully another good looking, successful father who is madly in love with his baby girl.
