Absolutely Loved the insinuating conversation:

"Hmm...but you have to realize at some point the things holding you back, they can't be good...no good thing holds you back and what does isn't good for you."

"I may have not chosen it ...but it doesn't mean it isn't perfect for me. Sometimes the things that are best for you aren't the ones you select but ones that come your way on their own."

"Perfect? It's absolutely the best...I couldn't have selected better myself if I tried."

The whole conversation was like Kahin Pe Nigahe Kahin Pe Nishana.

Thank you so much Rhea and yep the whole convo was intended to be a subtext - Kahiin pe nigahe kahiin pe nishaana 😳

Aani .. .a serious suggestion ... please try your hand at professional writing ... having read your work for quite some time now, I can confidently say that you are a genius at every genre and have the capability to hook the viewer with the content ...

Aah this OS ... for the first time the word Double Meaning does not bring weird images ... it brings a smile on my face ... letting go of your old car ...

Woaah .. .the meanings it conveyed ... the way u drew a parallel between this incident and their actual life ... brilliant stuff ...

loved the way u showed Raman decides it on her behalf and she trusts that he will choose the best for her... this is what her dad her done right ... chosen Raman for her and even if he pushed her into it .. it was for her best...

Loved the last line to the bits ... what a beautiful confession (kind of ... )

Am sorry to cut short on my ranting ... but a bad case of food poisoning hit me and I have spent my day being a kumbhakaran and typing also seems like a task at the moment ...

Loved it ... 🤗

Hey Bhanu 🤗

Hope you are taking care of yourself and feeling better now to begin with and I am flattered at the suggestion and really honored by your compliments and faith in me ☺️really but have no story in my head as of now frankly else I would try my hand at it so if god willing I get one someday I would def give it a shot 😳

@bold - glad you liked the subtext and the parallels

@red - yep her Appa decided for her when it came to their marriage and when it came to the car Raman picked one for her... her Appa saw Raman for the man he is, by overhearing a conversation and somehow the heart of a father was convinced about him - since Raman couldn't see an innocent being punished but moreover he saw Raman wasn't willing to abandon Mihir at any cost and he wanted someone who he could trust to do the same for his daughter - a man who wouldn't abandon her 😳 and when Raman must have picked a car for her, he must have bought the best one for her keeping her in mind - I purposely chose to avoid writing any details on the new car because 1) it was not needed here and 2) my automobile knowledge is virtually nil 😆

Lately all your OSs are playing a havoc on my IshRa obsession. It just increases day by day and then your stories drop in like bombs and my obsession explodes to a all new level ( pardon my poor analogy😆)
Coming to this piece...
I have a question for you dear, what would have happened if her hand wouldnt have caught on to the car door and the alarm would not have gone off.😉...ahem ahem i know it all transcends to readers imagination and thus I am asking this question as a fellow IshRa drooler and not as the ardent fan that I have become of yours.
The parallelism was so distinct and clear that the real meaning of the conversation would not be lost on anyone. Raman came in her life unexpectedly just like the new car that he had booked. She was letting go of the old one so as to adopt the new one as the part of her life. For me the last line stole the show, "So am I Ishita, so am I", wonder if they could show such moments between IshRa. Well even if they dont then thanks heavens, at least we have you. Love you dear, just love you.😳

No issues Tweety happens to all of us 😊 and thanks

Hmm if the alarm hadnt went off Ishita would have perhaps evaded the question one way or another perhaps we would have had a scene similar to the one in the bedroom where he corners her and then she closes her eyes

Glad you loved the parallel and yep they both came into each other' lives unexpectedly and are slowly learning to let go of the past to move on to better things in the future - namely towards each other 😳

You know how I feel about your talent, so I won't gush...

Your OS today has me FLOORED.

I've read everything you've written on the forum, and each piece has always struck a cord...but this one. I have no words. How do you do it?

The entire OS was a double-edged sword; saying goodbye to the old and comfortable, welcoming the new with a renewed hope...a mirror of how their lives intertwined most unexpectedly. I won't go analyzing as the pretext speaks for itself, rather, I need to tell you that I am in awe.

I felt as though I was reading a beautiful poem of two shattered souls that have found healing from and within a source they had never expected...each other.

Words fall short, Aani...I dunno what to say. Your writing is mature, poised, refined...and carries a depth to it which engulfs the reader with poignant emotion.

Hard to choose, but of everything you've written on IshRa this is probably my favorite.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

God Bless,
~P

Hey Payal thank you so much for the comment and for breaking your silence as well as the pm 😊

☺️ I wish I could describe how ideas strike you but somethings cant be explained 😳 but @bold - yep that was the idea that somehow served as the inspiration for this one - letting go is the hardest thing in life not because of the thing itself but the memories that come with it and moving on is not as easy as it sounds but is essential to life in the larger scheme of things

Thank you for these kind words Payal they mean a lot to me 🤗
