I don't find raman here wrong if mihir has asked him to stay quite. i saw mihir s ' rigidness to hide truth about shagun. raman was ready he had requested mihir twice clearly that lets reveal but it was mihir who din want .

vyas i agree that raman might go to shagun but I still think it would be passive on his part, i recall "vachan" part. now it s making sense of vanvas too

i think ishita will ask raman to accept shagun but as we believe changed raman he will not reject her decision. and then here mihir will come in front because yesterday both have made him to move on . so in future, he will do reverse to unite them .

she is part of family yes but when they were requested by man who is with them from 6 years in their thick and thin , they would defo hesitate to share without mihir s permission with woman who has become part of their family for just 6 months.

if mihir has always stood up by right side if he decides to hide truth that must be reason behind that.

just take example of past action.
he din take second to reveal to ishita that param was behind accident despite he was simi s husband.
it was not about trust. it was about breaching privacy of person who has trusted you more than his own blood for 6 years and left his own family for them.
