OK, I watched yesterday's epi just now. YHM is bipolar. One day's mediocrity is followed by another day's stellar. I guess it can't be helped. Can't have stellar every day when you are delivering 3 hours (pretty much 1 bollywood movie) every week. Good episode. Mihir exploded well. RKB cried well. (as usual). Ishita smiled benignly with good grace. Appa was a charming samdhi. Shagun was Shagun. And Purnimaji is the mother from hell.

I have only 1 serious objection. Mrs.Iyer's atrocious Tamil accent. See, I am a Tamil Iyer too. I know the Tamil accent. And when Mrs.Iyer is saying such nice things about her lyuckyyy Miheeka and Raman and Mihir's friendsheep and such a wonderful maaarumagan (damad) as Mihir is, I just want to gag. Her accent is atrocious. She speaks Hindi with a Tamil accent that I don't even speak Tamil with. They found a true blue Punjabi Mrs.Bhalla who can say fitte muh with such elan. They could have found a better Tamil accent for Mrs.Iyer. 😡
