Im back after a long time with part 15 of my SS: A new beginning. I've been busy with exams and thus the late update. Ignore any mistakes 😃
Part 15
After breakfast both went to the hospital together. Shagun saw them together and thought I won't let you live in peace ishita...
At the hospital ishita and raman met the doctor. Doctor did the full checkup and gave her medicines. She advises her to go for a walk everyday and eat healthy food since her uterus wall is very weak. Doctor tells raman not to make her do heavy work. Raman assures the doctor that he will take care and both left.
Raman dropped her at her clinic. Ishita was about to go in when she felt his arm wrap protectively around her waist.
Ishita: Raman kya karrahi ho? I have to go in.
Raman: Exactly. I'm walking you to your cabin.
Ishita: Raman it's okay na. I know how to walk.
Raman: Dont argue with me ishita. What's wrong if I escort you to your cabin? I'm your husband.
Ishita gives up and walks in with raman. Everyone greeted her. Raman walks her to her cabin and puts the medicines on her desk.
Raman: You have to eat something every two hours. I'll be back with your lunch. You have to have your medicines after lunch.
Ishita: Raman I know. I'll take care. Abb jaao.
Raman comes dangerously close to her. He put his arms on her shoulders and kisses her nose.
Raman: You won't even say a proper goodbye to your husband?
Ishita: Raman... Koi aajayega...
Raman: I wont go until you kiss me goodbye.
Raman pulled her closer until their noses were touching. Ishita looked at him, her cheeks burning due to the close proximity. He caressed her cheek and closed his eyes. Ishita closed her eyes and moved her face closer to his. Suddenly ishita's assistant barged into the room. They both jumped back startled. The assistant lowers her eyes and says, "sorry maam, I thought sir left. And there is an emergency so..."
Ishita looked at raman embarassed and smiles a shy smile. She says she is coming in a while and the assistant leaves.
Raman: I think I should leave too.
Ishita: Thats what I've been trying to tell you.
Raman turns to leave and ishita wears her coat. When he was about to open the door to leave, ishita calls him and as soon as he turned around he felt ishita's lips pressing against his. She pecked his lips and goes out before he could comprehend what happened. When she left raman touched his lips and says, "always feels like the first time". And he smiles to himself and leaves.
Shagun was waiting outside until raman leaves. When she saw him leave she immediately went into the clinic and asked the receptionist where ishita is. Receptionist tells her that Dr.Ishita is in a surgery right now so she cant meet her. Shagun fumes and sits in the waiting area. She was planning to injure ishita somehow.
Shagun self talk: What did you think ishita? That you will live the life I'm supposed to live? I won't let you live in peace ishita. I will destroy you. And now it will be much easier since you are pregnant. If something happens to the baby then raman will automatically get mad at you and blast you.
Shagun smirks to herself and gets up. She checks the floor plan of the clinic and saw that surgery room was upstairs. She goes to the cafeteria and buys a water bottle and climbs up the stairs. She checks whether anybody was looking at poured the water on the stairs. She climbs down carefully and waits in the waiting area.
After a long time ishita came out of the surgery room. When shagun saw ishita coming out of the surgery room she puts her hand on her cheek and starts screaming as if in pain. She was facing her back towards the stairs so that ishita won't be able to see her. The receptionist says madam she is in a lot of pain. She has been waiting for so long. Ishita almost ran to the stairs. Shagun was smirking to herself when she heard ishita's scream. She turns around and to her surprise she saw another doctor falling down the stairs. Everybody ran down to help the doctor. Ishita notices the water on the stairs.
Ishita: How come there is water on the stairs?
Worker: We don't know maam. We cleaned the whole clinic this morning.
Shagun was fuming in anger. And right then raman entered the clinic. Shagun saw raman and ran into the cafeteria. Ishita noticed someone running away and was confused. She brushed it off when she saw the horrified expression on raman's face. Ishita was about to take a step when raman shouted at the top of his lungs.
Raman: Don't you dare take a step forward ishita.
Everyone looked at raman and then at ishita. Raman climbed the stairs carefully and held ishita's hand tightly. Ishita says raman I'm fine. Raman gestures her to keep quiet. He drags her across the corridor to the far end.
Ishita: Raman... I swear I'm okay. Kuch nahi huva hai mujhe. Bilkul teekh hoon.
Raman stared at her for a good two minutes before taking her in his embrace. Ishita could feel him trembling.
Ishita: Raman... I'm totally fine.
Raman: It could have been you..
Ishita: But it wasn't.
Raman: You have no idea what I went through just now. You were right above the stairs. If that doctor didn't step infront of you then it could have been you.
Ishita: Raman.. Stop thinking like that. It wasn't me na. Please dont think like this.
Raman: If something happened to you...
Ishita: Nothing will happen to me.
Raman: See this is why I don't want you to work. I won't be around to take care of you... And something might happen.
He pulls back from the hug and kisses her forehead. He lowers his head and lets out a long sigh.
Raman: I cant afford to lose you or our baby.
Ishita: Raman.. Nothing will happen to us.
Raman takes her out saying let's go for lunch. After lunch he drives her back to the clinic and gives her the medicines. He kisses her forehead and leaves. He goes down and tells te security that he wants to see the cctv footage of what happened near the stairs. He says he saw someone leave quickly when he came in and he knew somebody did this on purpose.
Precap: Shagun's attemp number 2 and raman finding out that it was shagun who is trying to harm ishita.
