if people have seen the movie they know the story if not I recommend a watch at least once... as per the story in the climax of the movie Tabu walks out on her husband of over two decades since he keeps calling her a characterless woman upon learning that their son is actually not his biologically and she had a one-night stand with her music teacher Mohnish Bahl who left all his assets to her in his will upon death

As she chooses to leave she says she knew of her husband' philandering ways but kept mum always but he couldnt accept a truth which he only learned of now, even her son insults her.. She questions her husband if not for that one night she would have been called barren and not him - as post their son too she never got pregnant even once...

from the looks of things since Raman said those words to Ashok again tonight - even Shagun despite living with Ashok for sx years hasn't got pregnant even once - the movie highlighted the stigma of infidelity done by a woman and also male infertility in a way

Could YHM be touching another taboo and show Ashok Impotent... that would be something commendable and I dont think its yet ever shown on Indian TV

That movie was wonderful piece of writing, have seen it more than once. And you've drawn a wonderful comparison 😊 YHM has touched so many sensitive issues with a lot of courage. If they choose this too it would be path breaking. Though I guess they wouldn't reach such a point because Ashok is ready to kick her out of his life at the first opportunity he gets.
