Behind every successful Man There is a Woman

It was at a glittering function where he was being felicitated .. he walked up on stage & said the above words ...

Once again at a glittering function ... where was not to be felicitated but he was celebrated ... he walked up on stage & repeated those same words ...

The difference ... one was in HATE ... one was in LOVE ...

His first wife Shagun ... her deception gave him the strength to fight with the world ... her rejection made him strive for acceptance ... her renouncing him made him want to conquer ...

Yes he rose in position ... but he fell flat as a human being ...

His second wife ... her acceptance gave him the freedom to be ... her gentle strength gave him the power to shine ... her partnership gave him the will to RISE

This time he rose in Position ... but what towered over every person in that room was the MAN ... RAMAN KUMAR BHALLA ... or rather Ishita's RAAVAN KUMAR ...

They say na ... " Haar ke jeetne waale ko Baazigar kehte hai" ... tickled pink to hear the name of my last post on the lips of the WINNER tonite ... thank u writers ... 😉

Ishita & her band of faithful followers won the day today ... a woman who fasted for her husbands well being did not just keep the fast for showing TOSHI BHALLA ... but she lived each & every promise of that fast ... is it any wonder her husband was MAN ENOUGH To give her the COMPLETE CREDIT for REINSTATING him to his rightful position ...

It was during Mihir's sangeet ceremony that Raman had told Shagun ... to show how bright is the SUN .. one needs to see how DARK is the night ... & today the brightness of ISHITA .. just eclipsed the darkness of Shagun ...

Some people on the forum wondered why there was a Shagun ADI & Raman scene yesterday ... let me explain that to u today ... since the reason has played out now ...

It was a big day in the life of ASHOK KHANNA ... he was being crowned King of Delhi Entreprenuer Association ... Shagun walked in all decked up she also got her moment on the stage with her man ... but as a woman beyond being a SHOW PIECE she was NOTHING .. there was no Contribution from her in ASHOK's success ...

On the other hand there was Ishita ... her complete focus was on getting her husband his rightful position back ... all this she did while not undermining her duties as the BHALLA BAHU or Ruhi's ISHIMA ...

But all Shagun did was look Ornamental ... she could not even get her hands dirty while helping her son in his community service ...

The difference the contrast between the 2 women was what we were shown yesterday ... & the RESULT of ones vainness & the others dedication was celebrated tonite ...

The writers of this show DESERVE a standing OVATION for the way they have portrayed the GOOD THE BAD & THE UGLY ... in this serial ...

Now i leave u with a thot ... we all know who is the GOOD in this serial ... can u take a moment to guess who is the BAD & who is the UGLY ... ????

Bahut hogaya DRAMA SHAMA ... ab thoda ROMANCE Ki BAATEIN HO JAAYE ...

So just a couple of days back we saw the GIFT OF THE MAGI ...

one Gifting a bathrobe & the other gifting the eye mask ...

After the gift exchange both underwent a huge soul searching exercise ... or rather both saw the truth in the mirror ...

So tonite MACHO MAN PUNJAB KA GABRU JAWAN .. walks out of his bathroom wearing a feminine bathrobe ... OH YEA BABY ... a man who previously would come out of his bathroom wearing a towel over his boxers today wanted to hide the buff body in a bathrobe huh >>>

What was even more eye opening ( no pun intended) ... was that he was ready to DROP THE BATHROBE AT A MOMENTS GLANCE ...Sunny leone ka BHoot ... 😲

Finally they each take back the gift ... as Ruhi would say .. HAWWW gift de ke wapas thodi na lete hai ... !!!!!!

Lets pause on this for a moment ...

SO what does an innocent bystander understand from this ...

HE WANTED TO SEE HIS WIFE SEW BUTTONS ON HER BLOUSE

HIS WIFE WAS ABSOLUTELY OK WITH HIM OGLING HER ?????

U know the answer to that as well ... 😉😉

All in all another fantabulous episode in YHM land ... kudos to the maker ...

Whoa sorry can't quit before i give a small mention to my fav character ... PARAM ...

So last week we got a glimpse of a man who is OBSESSED With ISHITA .. he gave away Suraj's identity to Raman ...to help Ishita ... he was visibly worried about Ishita falling in Ashok's trap ...

Tonite ... Param mentions he would NEVER USE/DEMEAN HIS WIFE TO FURTHER HIS GOALS ... he also let it slip ... I LOVE SIMMI ...

This was the MOST IMPORTANT TIDBIT of the episode ... do focus on this fellows ... some changes are to happen in YHM .. while some secrets get exposed ... some characters will undergo metamorphosis as well ...

BUT at no point of time ... remove ur eyes from SHAGUN ... as i mentioned earlier she is in the MIDDLE OF IT ALL ...

You know last night when Raman went on stage and thanked Ishita - I too connected it with his speech at the award function - how times have changed since then and so much is different now.

Then he had thanked a woman - his ex for his success and said she paved his path by leaving him behind - his words were how her leaving him had inspired him enough to make someone out of himself from an anonymous man - today the same man once again thanked another woman in his life... who at the time of that event was just a stranger to him in a way, a woman he despised no less and called her the woman to whom he credits his success, since she isn't only the motivation behind it but also the woman who is by his side while that happens.

Though what makes the most distinctive difference is the man himself - on that day he had conquered the world so to speak as he stood out and lifted a trophy that spelled his success as the very woman and man who betrayed him stood before him. Then even that recognition - something which he yearned for at the time to show his competence couldnt give him the thing he most wanted - peace of mind, some relief, the control over his life and the balm to his bruised heart since he returned home drunk out of his mind not by celebrating but loathing those two who to show him down resorted to another trickery.

It was the very woman who he ended up with at that night as he humiliated and berated her and finally passed out in her arms.

Tonight that woman has changed the man so much in a matter of months that he knew even if he was losing out on a post he had so much more to register in the column of gains/profit - peace of mind, some relief, a respite to which he owes his sanity, the happiness of his child and family and so much more. For her he could overlook all material gains since she gave him something all the riches combined in the world failed to do - she healed him and is continuing to do so with her gentle hands, her loving and caring presence.

I love how you have interpreted the planting scene too - to me what makes that scene symbolic is the way they had Raman trying to help Adi in planting that sap and later showing him how to go about it once he has placed the sapling.

It was the difference that stood out here - planting a sapling and giving birth to a child - taking care of the sapling once its planted is akin to nurturing it - which can be equated to raising a child. Raman a father in his suit was ready to sink to the ground and get his hands and clothes dirty to help his child - he was guiding Adi the way to do things while his mother rambled on about her spoiled manicure... how very much it states.

To raise a child you have to sink to your knees at times when they fall and cry, when they are hurt and injured yet you do it, when you raise an infant you are bound to get dirty in the process but it doesn't matter to a real parent who continues to pamper and love the child even when changing diapers or merely throwing the dirty napkin on which the little tyke just burped. Also you can only guide your child once they get a little older they have to do the works you can't make their choices for them, only assure your guidance and presence.

Regarding the robe scene - I found it so cute and in a way such a subtle indication of the change in equation once again. A man blushes as his wife accuses him of taking back his gift and returning hers as she says he won't change now would he? He doesn't deny or refute or say anything just shyly looks down and smiles even as she smiles while accusing him.

When she gave him that mask she had said some people don't bother to control their eyes and he too uttered similar words last night.

What was unsaid and yet confirmed was the right here though - his to look at her, admire her, long for her as he does the same - which she finally gave him as she admitted it to herself shyly looking at her blushing, smiling self - aisa kabhi nahi socha ke woh mere pati hai.

His teasing about disrobing and her reluctance to look at him while not leaving until the last moment so even affirmed desires and attraction that is mutual among them - he is acknowledging it now since he could admit in a very funny talk - jo mujhe dekhna hai nahi bhi dekhna hai jo dekha accha bhi lag raha hai ... and while she does feel the stirrings of that attraction - she is scared too - of a foreign feeling or perhaps the return of a known feeling but this time with a man she never thought would invoke those thoughts and desires within her.

And last but not the least your fav guy Param 😆 (you might be his only fan in that regard Ruby, though yeah I love Anurag since he makes us hate pervy)

it was a shock to say the least to hear the word wife and love in the same line as much as him being aghast at using a ghar ki aurat - this the same man who lusted for a woman who helped him, who happens to be the wife of his BIL

I think if he does change it would be when things would really hit him in the gut- his change would be to convince the same woman he speaks of loving that he isnt the same man anymore when finally she would be face to face with the reality that she continues to deny and delude herself.

The day she wakes up to reality might just be the day his world comes crashing down and it be too late for him to ever win back the love and affection of the woman who completely adores and practically worships him when all would be lost forever.

And Shagun definitely is gonna be the one woman who time and again would play a vital role in the lives of those she is connected to one way or another.

I rest my post here today LOL got carried away as usual.

Hey winey great writing

I loved that raman bathrobe scene it had all the wet/sexy romance in a subtle beautiful way.
He was seducing and ready to strip and she is yet to get him.He is getting physical with her 😉

Magi .. its a story about a young couple who both want to gift the other with a gift which they feel the other wants .. while sacrificing their own needs ... in the end its realised that what each sacrificed was the gift that the other brought .. like the girl sacrifices her hair ... & the man buys her a decorative comb ... its a very poignant & touchy story ... do read it if u have a chance ..

I dont know how many times i said i am fan of ur writing ,, like i am addiced to yhm episode, now i am addicted to ur posts and ur comments,,, I dont know how many times i reread ur posts, they are just wonderful analysis.
Coming to ur todays post, was by surprise, i quickly read and bowled awasy by writing like RKB..
You clearly depicted the dak and bright and alaso abt marriage status quo,, . while todays watching Ramans dailogue abt ur topic tite, i immediatey remembered you,, sometimes i am getting doubt whether are you a part of CVs? hi hi,, joking,,

Don't write off Shagun as yet ... .. she is a fighter she is also a clinger .. the woman who does not let go of a man she claims to Detest ... what will she do with a man she claims to love ..

a man for whom she sacrificed her family ...😉
