Excellent topic! Love it! I was feeling the adrenaline Ishita was feeling, I was feeling her being shy and smiling to herself. You totally went to the depth of Ishita's heart in this rambling.
Great Job!

Best post on Ishita till date. I so wish that they show some ramblings episode on Raman and Ishita and straighway take your versions. They are just too beautiful.

Like Aani has highlighted in her post as well, this week has indeed been a week of milestones.

For Ishita, this journey was a journey of self sacrifice. During their wedding, when Raman had placed the mangalsutra around her neck, she had gotten emotional, however, the emotions at the point were not only of a daughter but also of a woman, who had knowingly accepted the fact that her future was going to be absolutely dark and she was forever bound to the same man she despised.

Bu today, the same equation has changed. The darkness paved way for light more like the first rays of sun which pave way for the end of the night. A new beginning. A new era. The beginning of Mrs. Ishita Bhalla, the wife of Raman Kumar Bhalla.

When she decided to vrat for Raman, it was the decision of Mrs. Bhalla and not Ishima. When she decided to confront Mr. Solar Eclipse (I refuse to call that MCP by his name.) on her own. She even dared Romi that she will take care of him all alone if Romi meant to back out.

This is the same woman who was apprehensive to share her uneasiness about Parmeet with Raman. For me, one of the reasons was also because this couple was mainly due to Ruhi only and it was a touchy topic. She had long ago made peace with the fact after Subbu's betrayal that she will be spending the rest of her life alone. Therefore, she did try to solve Param situation till the matters really got out of hands.

And now, few months down the line, the same Ishita bared her soul, her pain, her anguish after Subbu left him in front of her husband. Not the father of her daughter, but her husband. This time she did not hesitate one bit about sharing something so personal, something buried deep inside her. When her husband showed even a wee bit of apprehensiveness about this marriage, she made sure she conveyed the message loud and clear, that she was happy. Finally, happy.

Further, she also shared her fear of losing her career. Her efforts, her ambitions, aspirations from life. She was no more scared to bare her soul in front of her soulmate. Yes, she may have not realized it yet, but she has unknowingly accepted him already. Rather, it should be, they may have not realized it yet, but have unknowingly accepted each other already.

Ishita has indeed come a long way from where she started. I still remember when she had decided to get married to Raman, and her sisters had teased her that Raman is handsome, she had honestly expressed that she has not even looked at him properly.

And now, few months down the line, the same Ishita is aware of her husband's intentions. Yes, she knows he cares, she knows he worries for her, she knows he will do anything to protect her pride; she cannot forget the fact when he had finally claimed his right over, "Nahi Chodunga. Beewi ho tum Meri." Ironically, they were at the worst stage of their relationship, she had almost agreed to the fact her husband will always carry a torch for his first wife.

She is now also well aware of the fact that her husband is affected by her. That morning scene was a depiction of their awareness in more ways than one. For Raman, it may be the first time he really noticed Ishita. For Ishita, it was also a milestone. Like you said, Ishima would have made sure that she moved to Ruhi's room, or her bathroom, heck anyplace but for the same room as her husband.

The fact that she decided to mend the broken blouse in his presence albeit a sleeping one, is a big step in their relationship. The fact that after she realized that her husband was openly gawking at her, did not make her rush outside, or avert her gaze, she was more ... aware ... of the change of situation between them. For that split second, their eyes wanted to taste the forbidden fruit and think of a may be ...

To conclude, this week actually broke the comfortable equilibrium between each other they had become accustomed to, yet this disturbance will eventually pave way for a better future, a better tomorrow for Mrs. and Mr. Bhalla.

P.S.: I joined this forum pretty late but I caught up with your old post via your index and each one surpasses the previous one. I could not post on each of them due to lack of time. Moreso, because as you can see, when I start to write, my thoughts do not let me stop.

All I can say is you are one of the few writers of the forum whose work I always look forward to.

Brilliant job 😃.

Cheers

@bold, very apt name!

Yes, she's been very straight with Raman. There is no doubt in his mind now (or ours), that she is out of her past.

Further, she also shared her fear of losing her career. Her efforts, her ambitions, aspirations from life. She was no more scared to bare her soul in front of her soulmate. Res Lucky-
Will comment as soon as I can 😳

Edited-

Wow Lucky, this one totally took me by surprise. I say that because though I know the theme is 'rambling's' and I was expecting more of a 'stream of throughts' instead what you conveyed is something I really want 'realised' onscreen too. It was literally like one of those 'join the dot' pictures where with each and every connection things become clearer and more vivid.

You know my love for recurring themes/connections and how I love to find them in your writing, you've done it again splendidly hun. I also know how it 'flows' more when writing about Raman, but in this Ishita centric piece it really did flow beautifully.

This can't b ramblings, for sure. It's very articulate thought process of Ishita. The realization that stuck her about the change inside her n the person for whom this change has been taken place, the "recognition" that they have become more than Ruhi's parents, would give her more strength to b his Jhansi ki Rani with the sword drawn, ready to go in the battlefield for a dual with Suraj, paradoxically the "darkness" in her life n determined of winning her Ravan Kumar's reputation back.
The quote at the last says it all!
What should I tell about you, as a writer di?? I always fall short of adjectives while commenting about your writing prowess. It is, as if, you are born to be writer. We feel ourselves lucky, indeed, to get u among us Lucky di 😊

loved it!
especially ishita's take on the button scene- i was so surprised when forum's attention and talk was on raman staring at her but ishita doing so in front of him wasn't much talked about 😲 ishita from sirf-ruhi-ke-liye time would've never been so bold. brilliant take 👏
and then the last part about both of them changing a little raman becoming more peaceful while ishita out for blood 😉😆
