The quote at the last says it all!
What should I tell about you, as a writer di?? I always fall short of adjectives while commenting about your writing prowess. It is, as if, you are born to be writer. We feel ourselves lucky, indeed, to get u among us Lucky di 😊

Hey Debo 😃

I call it Ramblings because the pieces I write under this name are nowhere close to the flow & language required for a proper story 😳

and thank you VERY MUCH for your continued praise of my work. Love Ya

Most of us feel that Ishita's pains have been left unexplored by CV's ... but I believe they have always wanted to show her as resilient & strong. Also as usual she has inherited the typical traits of a desi bahu so somewhere she is always shown to be on top of the situation.

Its been long since her feelings towards Raman surpassed the "Sirf Ruhi ke liye" phase. At the end of the accident track, we actually saw her disappointment with Raman as her husband and not only her child's father. She was upset "as a wife" and not as a mother at that time.

I loved how subtly the CV's showed her comfort level with Raman in the button scene. Doing something intimate, in his presence albeit sleeping presence would not have occurred to the earlier Ishita. Yes she was frozen & to an extent embarrassed when she finally caught him staring, but that was because physical intimacy is one subject that these two are only now considering. Its unknown territory and they approach it with all the caution that they did in every step of their relationship earlier -- be it familiarity, their acceptance as wary partners in an unlikely marriage, parents to their child, the ensuing friendship, the equation of comfort or the silent strength that they established. Each step took time and effort. So will the physical intimacy.

Reading Ishita's thoughts is always special since she has been shown to glide over major issues earlier without any seeming effects or reactions (my pet peeve is still the attempted rape on her).

Beautifully written Lucky ... but then I already know that when I am reading your work 😳

PS -- There are some folks on this forum who bring out the analytical side of me, you being one of them :)

especially ishita's take on the button scene- i was so surprised when forum's attention and talk was on raman staring at her but ishita doing so in front of him wasn't much talked about 😲 ishita from sirf-ruhi-ke-liye time would've never been so bold. brilliant take šŸ‘
and then the last part about both of them changing a little raman becoming more peaceful while ishita out for blood šŸ˜‰šŸ˜†

Thanks Rutu 😊

Yes... as much I was staring at Raman, I was intrigued by Ishita 😳

As promised I am editing this after editing the Raman one šŸ˜›

Like I said in the other one you manage to top yourself with each work you post Lucky and this one is no different I love the whole OS but the best part according to me is where Ishita is realizing she is changing and so is Raman. With her influence he is becoming a calmer, relaxed person while she the calmer one of the duo is becoming someone else altogether - someone who is fiery and who actually can go to any lengths to protect her people and dare anyone hurt em - then to track em down and hunt em.

This one makes me think of a quote which I think is so apt here

"The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed."
C.G. Jung

Thank You so much Aani for your kind words... I will go read your comments on the Raman one now...

BTW - I saw this quote too when I was choosing one for this piece... It was so apt like you said, but the word 'courage' made me choose the other one!
