absolutely agree with you.

my mind didn't dwell much on it because what could be excepted of that type of guy but he is truly disgusting in his behavior.

But i think that the mindset is common to most of men all over the world : have a virgin like devoted wife while having fun on the side.

Adding to that that most woman (mostly oriental and/or from the older generation) thinks that it's just how men are and that it won't change.

So yeah, that's problematic.

Exactly Meet ...what he said about Shagun being a gold digger was true. But what about the rest of it, his brother and himself, what are they? What makes him think he/Ashok deserve a girl from a good family with values & morals, do they have any themselves?

Zen ... it was more than him being against Shagun here. It was Suraj's views on women in general and his POV that its ok to discard women irrespective of what the man in the situation did. He was pumping up Ashok as if the guy's a saint and Shagun has fasaofied him. Not true, Ashok also played his part.

Great post.Totally agreed.

Even with Shagun past behavior felt for her there. Though even without Suraj advice Ashok would have dump her that's his plan which his brother is unaware of.

Raman might help Shagun out for sake of Adi as he is with her but he won't separate from Ishita and it won't be for just Ruhi ke liye but for himself truly.

Rajji yaar ...he said Shagun was a good time pass but its time for Ashok to move on. Shagun did not force herself into Ashok's life, Ashok also manipulated her.
So why does he get to think Shagun is not good enough for him suddenly and he deserves a sanskaari ladki 😕

I agree ashok is not less nor suraj has right to call her or any woman as time pass !! he said find woman of your status!! but what shagun thought for ishita !! ruhi s aaya na . and din tell raman that he should not get hyper for accident of mother of aaya ? n shagun had also thought that ishita has snatched her daughter !!!

Yes, it would be just weird if someone as demented as Suraj recognises the good in Ishu. Well, cv's have dealt with social issues before and kept it right, let's just hope they will make sure Suraj gets taught a good lesson. Hmm, from the onlocation vids, it looks like our Ishita Bhalla would do the needful and give us all peace.
He probably spat chauvinistic shit the moment he came out of mum's tummy. Oh wait, no woman would want to give birth to him. He probably came out of his dad's mouth like you said.
On a side note, Paru, I love how you can make someone laugh even while discussing something serious. Your sarcastic sense of humour is too good. 😆

Great post Paru. Agree with you regarding the a*hole...these are the types who believe that the sun shines out of their you know what 🤢

Shagun is a gold digger, no argument on that but it takes two to tango. Their relationship has survived this long more because of Ashok's attachment rather than the other way around. Now the reasons could be as illogical as Ashok's obsessive desire to keep getting back at Raman or it could be his genuine affection for Shagun. Last night what Suraj said was actually an echo of what Raman has been telling Ahsok all these years...without money Shagun would leave him also and move on to greener pastures. In a way it will be a bitter experience for Shagun, a taste of her own medicine. Karma doesn't leave you for long, you reap what you sow. Shagun was lucky that she had Ashok in her life, seeing his brother you can actually root for Ashok(very painful, though yaar!!!) Ashok let her get away with her shenanigans, dancing with Raman on Mihir's engagement and making a fool of herself, her suicide drama to get back at Raman. It was only her use of Adi in the accident track and giving Raman preference over Ashok, and that too by instigating and insulting him that was the last straw for the 6 foot 2 inch! Where I don't sympathise with what was meted out to both Shagun and Adi last night (they've done worst and got away with it) I hated the brother giving his gyaan to Ashok. But then that arrogance is reflected in Ashok also, where just because they were born with a silver spoon they think themselves to be above anyone else. Raman and his likes are nau daulatias for them who they can insult at their will. The brother's desire to have a partner of good breed for both of them reflects their inflated egos and screwed up perception of life!
