Hey Kri lovely post but I have to say I don't find Ishita as his weakness, on the contrary she is becoming so much more important to him that everything else is taking a backseat in his life, she is becoming the most important person to him even if he may not openly acknowledge it in words.
the instances you have cited as examples here is my take on em

1) picnic - he wanted to be alone with her and yes it bummed him out that what was in his mind some alone time they would spend, a first for them she made it a family event. Yes he freaked out that she may not remember him when she played that prank but it was the fear of being lost to her that got to him... yes lost to her, cos she has made so much of difference in his life in the short span she has been around he can't imagine a day without her now, should that be taken away from him - he would lose the footing he found at last when it comes to his personal life. Without her he would lose his way again. Instead of saying it was the first instance of his weakness, I would say it was his first admittance of what Ishita means to him, how he feels with her in his life - the fact that he not only proclaimed they are happily married but also that she is the mother of his children is important as per me as he included Adi in the equation as well. Prior to this track Shagun kept saying one thing to emotionally blackmail Raman - Ishita would punish Adi as she isn't his mom, here he admitted it for a second time after asking for her support in her clinic and made it be known he means it - to him she is Adi' mom as well now.

2)Again I would say it is fear and nothing else acting out on Raman, he is being attracted to a woman after a long, long time and he knows, has always seen she is beautiful; but now that he knows her as a person, that surface beauty also affects the man within him. And in the cooking scene he didn't look away rather they shared a moment when she saw he was looking at her and didn't back down too.

3) the jealousy thing is actually cute but you know what - its possessiveness that is actually at the core here. It scares him that she may be still harboring feelings for a man who left her long back; but at the same time he didn't like taking a backseat in her life in her present too, since she gave the prominence he wanted to his own daughter. Usually in such cases where a single parent remarries they want their partner to be at least cordial with their child, if not love them, they wish their partner would treat their kid well. Here Ishita, she loves and adores Ruhi and that should make Raman feel glad, instead it makes him feel second to his own daughter and he doesn't want that. He wants to be Ishita' priority and the most important person who matters to her. He wants her to himself so very much he can't even allow his own daughter to share that space.

4) I would say not just the match but ever since she has been injured it has been shown how very much he cares for her from brushing her teeth to learning how to drape a saree for her. He wants to do it all for her, and in doing so somehow make her see how much she means to him. He wants his efforts recognized though he is still too scared to admit things openly hence hides behind his taunts whenever he does something for her like in the apple feeding scene why not cut the apple and hand her the plate, instead he extended a piece to her to feed her.

5) the blackmail drama - I am sorta divided on it. I find the usage of it here to be a little off putting to tell you the truth mainly because he made the other guys go scot free too had it been rather used as only a ticket for him it would have made me enjoy it more. Somehow that is my only grievance with it, though I see he wants to gain Ishita' attention by any means possible. He wants to make sure he is on her mind even if she is cursing him somehow 😆

Phew made quite a long post on that one.

Yes Raman's clearly gone through a transformation with respect to his relationship with Ishita. I also hope that Ishita remains his strength and never his weakness. It would be neat if the show addressed something like this.

lovely post...vry well written...luvd ur analysis...but what I feel is Ishu is his strength more than weakness...cos she s d one who made him get out of his secluded life and now making him capable of appreciating the finer things in life which ws almost impossible for him to do once !!!

OMG KP ! How brilliantly u gathered all the points regarding Raman's changing character thanks to his Wife n how beautifully u managed to point out every single thing.. I m in LOVE with this post of yours.. U made my day ! ❤️

I agree to every point of yours.. Raman actually found a new weakness.. N thtz Ishita ! Yes this is it ! N i wud say tht accident track had played an important role for this.. Towards the end of it he realized hw incomplete he is without her.. N definitely is his weakness n strength at the same time !

Nice post. I read all of them and you all r right. I think Raman is slowly falling for Ishita. He had lost trust in love, affection, trust, truth and family. Ishita is once again bringing him back to life. She is nave and innocent. but at the same she don't give up easily. she fights back. He has seen her talking back to him and telling the truth on his face. she don't care for money and all. For her truth and ethics and honor is important.Raman is seeing wht she tells she does in hre life too. She is not a weakness of him. for Aditi he did so many lies put so many people in sadness he was going out of his way. here it is not the case. half way he is responsible for the license thing. He got mad and challenged Suraj. Raman is in competiion with Ashok not Ishita now somehow Ishita' s life is getting there. Moreover if they go to court Raman is the only witness in the case wht Ishita did to Suraj if they ask why he was their in the room with Ishita when she was doing surgery it will be more bad for Ishita and her reputation. nobody is thinking that. the case will go worse. Hope everything sorts out.

I agree wud ur post completely n u have highlighted Gud points here. Only thing I disagree wid u is that Ishita is his weakness, when U love someone even if that is as a friend n if u give up something or compromise something that just doesn't reflect ur weakness but ur strength coz u value Ur relationship more than other things. Raman by giving up presidentship post is trying to secure his wife's license he is putting her happiness above his materialistic gains that means he values her as a person.
Same is for Ishita when she knew it was Adi who caused accident she was ok letting him go coz there she knew how difficult it was for Raman n she valued him as a person. 😆

Ishita is and will always be his strength. Ishita will not let him resign. They will fight the case and expose the truth once again proving that Ishita is Raman's strength. Raman will love her for this and I am pretty sure he will tell her ILU again. But Raman's ILU confessions are becoming like the "boy who cried wolf" type. I think Ishita will say ' I know you are doing this drama. But thank you for everything you have done for me. It means a lot.' She will leave. And then bechara Raman will say to himself ' Ishita I was not doing drama. I meant everything I said."

Ishita will never want that to happen... Ishita will always try to be Raman's strength but from Raman's POV, it seems the other way... Raman didn't want to fight it out against these creeps... This is planting the seed of doubt in my mind...

Anyways, thanks for commenting...😊

I am loving this side of Raman and his concern for Ishita..but sorry that I wil have to disagree that Ishita is Raman's new found weakness..

IF anything ishita's is Raman's strength and whatever Raman is doing for Ishita is out of his concern infact I should say his love for her!

When you are in love with someone, you can do anything for them...

And yes Adi was Raman's weakness ..his achilles heel..but in this case...Ishita is Raman's strength!

Thanks for liking it... Exactly, it is love which is making Raman crazy... We are seeing it under different light... I'm seeing love as one's weakness whereas you are seeing it as one's strength...

Think this track needs to unfold further to understand the actual context of Raman's love for Ishita... I want to see the effect that Ishita's tears has on Raman to confirm my doubts...

Thanks for commenting...😊

I WANT ISHU TO BE RAMAN'S STRENGTH NT WEAKNESS!!!😊
well...no offense just my POV😊

Exactly... This was my opinion... When someone becomes the other person's strength, they don't lose their reasoning power...Raman would have tried to solve this case in a logical manner since Ishita was never at fault... Right now, Raman is being guided by emotions where saving Ishita's career is making him go against himself...his ethics... This made me think if Ishita is becoming his weakness...again...

Personally, i am against it... Raman must find his strength in Ishita and share everything with her and solve this problem with her instead of sacrificing his president post...

Thanks for this lovely comment...😃
