but for some reason i want ishita to be his strength and not weakness... though reading all the above incidents u stated, no one can deny, what effect this woman is having on him...
i really hope she will come up as his strength and they will fight together and nothing will happen to both's position ...

Thanks for liking it and for this beautiful comment... Even, i don't want the same... But, the status quo is against our wish... Waiting to see something new out of this track... Ishu becoming Raman's strength rather than weakness...

Well

I don't think weakness is the correct word

If I were to be honest I have to say Raman still does not know what she actually means to him

He keeps on doing things on case to case basis like he will take care of her when rashes broke out to taking her videos when she was hysterical to blackmailing her and then giving up his hard earned position only for her

He keeps reminding me of Jekyll and Hyde

Where at one time it appears she means everything to her

And at different times he comes across insensitive to he

I think we need a self talk to understand what Raman feels

Hey Kri lovely post but I have to say I don't find Ishita as his weakness, on the contrary she is becoming so much more important to him that everything else is taking a backseat in his life, she is becoming the most important person to him even if he may not openly acknowledge it in words.

the instances you have cited as examples here is my take on em

Thanks for liking it yaar...😊

1) picnic - he wanted to be alone with her and yes it bummed him out that what was in his mind some alone time they would spend, a first for them she made it a family event. Yes he freaked out that she may not remember him when she played that prank but it was the fear of being lost to her that got to him... yes lost to her, cos she has made so much of difference in his life in the short span she has been around he can't imagine a day without her now, should that be taken away from him - he would lose the footing he found at last when it comes to his personal life. Without her he would lose his way again. Instead of saying it was the first instance of his weakness, I would say it was his first admittance of what Ishita means to him, how he feels with her in his life - the fact that he not only proclaimed they are happily married but also that she is the mother of his children is important as per me as he included Adi in the equation as well. Prior to this track Shagun kept saying one thing to emotionally blackmail Raman - Ishita would punish Adi as she isn't his mom, here he admitted it for a second time after asking for her support in her clinic and made it be known he means it - to him she is Adi' mom as well now.

That's a different way of putting it...Interesting... Loving this POV...

2)Again I would say it is fear and nothing else acting out on Raman, he is being attracted to a woman after a long, long time and he knows, has always seen she is beautiful; but now that he knows her as a person, that surface beauty also affects the man within him. And in the cooking scene he didn't look away rather they shared a moment when she saw he was looking at her and didn't back down too.

True... Somewhere i felt it is making him go weak in his knees... Her care, concern, love...

3) the jealousy thing is actually cute but you know what - its possessiveness that is actually at the core here. It scares him that she may be still harboring feelings for a man who left her long back; but at the same time he didn't like taking a backseat in her life in her present too, since she gave the prominence he wanted to his own daughter. Usually in such cases where a single parent remarries they want their partner to be at least cordial with their child, if not love them, they wish their partner would treat their kid well. Here Ishita, she loves and adores Ruhi and that should make Raman feel glad, instead it makes him feel second to his own daughter and he doesn't want that. He wants to be Ishita' priority and the most important person who matters to her. He wants her to himself so very much he can't even allow his own daughter to share that space.

Aha...I forgot to bring Ruhi in this equation... Thanks for pointing it out... Yes, that was a funny part... The relationship which started for Ruhi is now yearning to go beyond that person...

4) I would say not just the match but ever since she has been injured it has been shown how very much he cares for her from brushing her teeth to learning how to drape a saree for her. He wants to do it all for her, and in doing so somehow make her see how much she means to him. He wants his efforts recognized though he is still too scared to admit things openly hence hides behind his taunts whenever he does something for her like in the apple feeding scene why not cut the apple and hand her the plate, instead he extended a piece to her to feed her.

Exactly... That care again made me see a different Raman... His sensitive side which has been reserved for his kids is now finally extending its hands towards Ishita also which made me doubt him again...

5) the blackmail drama - I am sorta divided on it. I find the usage of it here to be a little off putting to tell you the truth mainly because he made the other guys go scot free too had it been rather used as only a ticket for him it would have made me enjoy it more. Somehow that is my only grievance with it, though I see he wants to gain Ishita' attention by any means possible. He wants to make sure he is on her mind even if she is cursing him somehow 😆

Actually, even i was quite confused... But, looking at the lighter side, felt Raman can be forgiven... I was reminded of his dialogue where he warned Bala to stay away from those girls since they were married... So, gustakhi maaf...😆

Phew made quite a long post on that one.

my reply in this colour...

That's a brilliant reply aani... Loved it... Both of us are right from own POV... Loved it throughly...

Hmm...Even i want the same to be addressed here... Sincerely hope that he doesn't resign that post...

Thanks for liking it... Yes, till that point, Ishita has been his strength... But, this case is giving a new dimension to their relationship... I want Ishita to be his strength...as always...

A well written and a well analysed post!!
I like how youve combined every little thing and how it signifies raman's relationship with ishita.

Ive also observed, them showing raman affected by ishita's proximity most of the time.
Ishita has learnt to deal with shagun, his false confessions , and sometimes i feel sorry for her coz she feels let down after a jhooti confession from raman, or a praise. It's like she was happy a minute, and then keeps telling herself it's all for ruhi.

Raman on the other hand keeps denying all that he feels for her, but he can't help control his emotions, the care, the love, the happiness is beyond control. It's all destined.
Like youve said in your post, She has now become his weakness. Nicely put!!👏

Nice post. I read all of them and you all r right. I think Raman is slowly falling for Ishita. He had lost trust in love, affection, trust, truth and family. Ishita is once again bringing him back to life. She is nave and innocent. but at the same she don't give up easily. she fights back. He has seen her talking back to him and telling the truth on his face. she don't care for money and all. For her truth and ethics and honor is important.Raman is seeing wht she tells she does in hre life too. She is not a weakness of him. for Aditi he did so many lies put so many people in sadness he was going out of his way. here it is not the case. half way he is responsible for the license thing. He got mad and challenged Suraj. Raman is in competiion with Ashok not Ishita now somehow Ishita' s life is getting there. Moreover if they go to court Raman is the only witness in the case wht Ishita did to Suraj if they ask why he was their in the room with Ishita when she was doing surgery it will be more bad for Ishita and her reputation. nobody is thinking that. the case will go worse. Hope everything sorts out.

Hmm...Let us see how things are going to shape up...

Only thing I disagree wid u is that Ishita is his weakness, when U love someone even if that is as a friend n if u give up something or compromise something that just doesn't reflect ur weakness but ur strength coz u value Ur relationship more than other things. Raman by giving up presidentship post is trying to secure his wife's license he is putting her happiness above his materialistic gains that means he values her as a person.
Same is for Ishita when she knew it was Adi who caused accident she was ok letting him go coz there she knew how difficult it was for Raman n she valued him as a person. 😆

I don't think we can compare Raman with Ishita here... Though, Ishita values their relationship, somewhere she is still not in the zone of "love"... As a mother, she did that for Adi... But, Raman is definitely surprising me again and again... Waiting for the track to unfold...
