Part 23: Raman the supportive husband

Raman and Ishitha were enjoying best phase of their life. They were complete as a couple and complementing each other. Children were doing well with studies and other activities. Mihika was back to her house after the child was 6 months old. Raman was back to his form of doting lover. He was not apprehensive now about Adhi as he got to know he was also game to their relationship. Raman was getting started anywhere. Ishitha was finding it very difficult to manage Raman's romantic antics. She used to feel embarrassed in front of the family members. He would do all the naughty pranks and leave Ishitha alone to handle the questions of others. He used feel great pleasure in teasing her so. He knew she was shy and he was really enjoying her blushes when people question her. Once in a month he used to take her away from all of them in the home to their farm house at outskirts of Delhi. Every time he would have a romantic surprise for her. She was getting addicted to the elixir of his love and giving him the love he desired. All of them in the family started quoting them as ideal couples. They also used to have a family outing with Ruhi and Adhi once in a month. They used to give tips to Mihir and Mihika to handle their relationship well. Once Mihir was getting upset with Mihika for not being able to spend more time with him and Ishitha realized it and told Mihika and Raman advised Mihir to support her better in handling the kid. They also took care of the baby for few nights when the couple decided to spend time with themselves.

Romi also joined their business. He was a naughty prankster. So Toshiji suggested that he must be married soon. She was very sure that else he may defame the family's name. When Raman spoke to Romi, he got to know that he was in a relationship with Sarika. Romi himself was not committing and was not ready for the marriage. Raman strictly convinced him as he knew the play boy nature of Romi. Though Toshiji didn't like the proposal, she agreed for the wedding.

Raman & Ishitha had been trying naturally for a kid for quite some time. But things were not working out. Adhi and Ruhi's continuous questioning on the kid and the remaining family member's questions were making them very uncomfortable. Raman was always by Ishitha's side. But she wanted to give him a child; their child.Ishitha never shared her internal trauma easily with Raman. But Raman was very frank with her about all his problems. . She started her mental battle internally again.

It was one evening when Raman was back home happy as he had cracked a major deal. He wanted to share that information first to Ishitha. When he reached home, his room light was switched off. He was wondering where was Ishitha. When he switched on the light he saw her sitting on the couch with her hands around her knee and head bent to her knee. He could hear her sob, His heart stopped beating for a second seeing her in such vulnerable state.

R: Ishitha, why are you crying what happened

I: Raman, app aagaye. I will get you some tea. (Hiding her tears)

He grabs her wrist and pins her on the wall. Placing his hands on either side.

R: I asked you a question. I need the answer for the same right now.

I: Nothing Raman, I am having my monthly cycles that's all

R: Are having pain, shall we go to the doctor. I really cannot see you in pain Ishitha

I: Raman please stop being romantic to me always. It's not always about love and romance. There are other things that Iam worried of too.

Her answer really put him off. But he knew she had additional effects of hormones during the monthly cycles. Her tantrums during her monthly cycles were not new to him. He brushed it off and proceeded to understand what was bothering her.

R: Tell me what's troubling you

I: Raman, are you really oblivious or acting like one. We have been trying for 7 months now. You have had 2 kids earlier, aren't you able to understand what's bothering me.

R: Ishitha we are trying for one, we will have one. Why do you worry?

I: Iam getting old Raman, I had hormonal imbalances in the past that's why I didn't plan during Adhi also. I have had a Self-induced abortion also. Generally conceiving again after a forced abortion becomes difficult. Why don't you really understand my concern?

R: comes and hugs her reassuringly. Don't worry, we will go to the doctor after your cycles are over and have the tests done. Please don't take stress. In general doctors also say, if you take stress in these matters they don't happen well.

Ishitha hugs him back and feels little relived. She apologies for her rude behavior and feels very sad for not being able to give the birthday gift Raman sought her. Raman re-assures her that she will for sure give him the gift and he is very confident about that.

They meet a gynec who is Ishitha's friend during the next week. They undergo all kind of tests and conclude that Raman is normal and doesn't have any issues. While they detect some issues with Ishitha. The issues were primarily because of her previous abortion. The hormonal imbalance that she had could be handled but the issue due to her previous abortion was little grave and her probability of conceiving was very less. Ishitha was not in the room when the doctor disclosed this. Raman requested the doctor that she must not be disclosing this to Ishitha while she will undergo the treatment in the pretext of some mild problem. The doctor was very touched by Raman's love for Ishitha and assured that she would not tell this to Ishitha. They decided to start the treatment immediately. Doctor had told Raman that if she is very desperate that might not work. She needed to control her anxiety level. That was a great task in front of him. Raman was very supportive to Ishitha. He was constantly reminding Ishitha that she must not be anxious.

Every intercourse was an opportunity for her. Earlier Raman used to love what they spoke after love making. She would share how she felt about doing it with him & he would also talk about his feelings. But now the talks after love making were putting him off totally. She had a standard question if she would conceive because of that attempt of love making. He was missing the dirty talks they used to have. He was more interested to know if he pleasured her enough but her constant interest in having a baby alone was really putting his enthusiasm in love making for a toss. He started feeling less pleasured while making love to her. She was always ready and he started to go into a refusal mode. But he knew about her past refusal and decided to be more compassionate putting aside his displeasure.

Just a while before Romi's wedding, Ishitha's treatment was over. Raman had planned for Romi and Sarika's honeymoon. Adhi and Ruhi were to be off to for a summer camp to Deharadoon. Raman decided to give Ishitha a special time off and planned for a trip to Kashmir. He thought if she was away for all this for a week or 2 she might be able to think anything else apart from baby. He happily came to share this news.

R: hey Janshi ki Rani, what are you doing

I: What happened, my Ravan kumar seams to be very happy today.

R: Iam happy, but if my happiness would continue or not will depend only on you. He shows her the tickets.

I: She feels happy at the same time shy also. Raman, Romi is getting married not us. What will people think?

R: So what's the problem, I have planned his 1^st honeymoon at swiss and our second at Kashmir.

I: Raman how will I even tell mummyji.

R: Tell me one this do you have problem coming with me or you are feeling shy.

She instantly comes and hugs him and says why will I not want to come with you. But what will we tell people at home. We are not young couple Raman.

R: You may be old, Iam not. Love and urge for you is still young in me.

Ishitha laughs listening to this. She pecks him and tries to leave. Raman pulls her back and makes her sit.

R: Ishitha you don't love me at all these days.

I: What is this Raman, you become so childish sometimes.

R: Then what, every time you only think about the child to be born or our children, not me.

I: Raman...

R: I have a humble request, can you please think only about both of us during our second honeymoon. I really want to re- live our London days. Please dear, no baby, no Adhi, No Ruhi. No Papa, no mama nothing. Only Raman and Ishu. Will you be able to do it? For a whole week.

I: Ravan Kumar, you always behave like a college boy who has found a new girlfriend. Iam your same old wife. You have done it with me many times now.

R: See this is why I tell you don't love me, I just asked a simple request to you. You could even honor that request. I might have done it many times with you, but I feel you are new every time I explore you. I guess I don't give you that pleasure that's why you feel like this.

I: Raman what is this. Do you think I am not happy with my sex life? How can you even think like that? Iam a women I feel shy talking about all this. That doesn't mean you don't pleasure me enough.

R: That's where I am coming from, I have done it so many times with you. But still you are shy that makes me wanting for me. Tell me will you just think about only both of us and our pleasures for that whole week.

I: Chi, Raman you are so naughty.

He makes a puppy face. She gives him a peck and assures that she will be as she wants. He asks her to remember what he said during their first honeymoon. She asks him questioningly. He says to please her husband during their honeymoon is good for a healthy relationship. He asks her to shop some good sexy stuffs for their honeymoon and she blushes and leaves.

The wedding was very grand. Children enjoyed the most during the wedding Post the wedding when Romi and Sarika left and the children also left, Ishra also left to Kashmir.

It was a nice cold weather. They were on a houseboat. Raman was very excited that he was going to spend this time alone with Ishitha. They were getting ready to go out. Ishitha wore a nice stain sky blue saree. She was looking so damn divine. Raman was in casual wear with a short kurtha and jeans. The moment Raman saw her he was awestruck. Ishitha was not giving importance to getting ready lately due to her mental tensions. He saw this avtar of her after so many days. She was feeling cold and was mentioning to get a shawl for herself. He stopped her by pulling her wrist

R: Why do you need a shawl when Iam here

I: Raman kithne besharam ho app. We are going out.

R: Who asked you not to use me as a shawl when we go out.

I: Ramann..

R: Do you know why people go to a hill station for honeymoon

I: why

R: Buddu, the weather would be cold and they will stay back in the room to get enough heat. Shall we stay back?

I: Raman ap na, kabhi nehi suderege. I have come to Kashmir for the first time, let go and tour the city.

R: How unromantic yaar, here I want to tour you but you don't seam to be interested at all.

I: Raman Kya , app kuch bhi bothe rehthe ho

He further takes her into a hug and says "Have you decided to kill me with your looks. Do you even realize you have stopped giving me such pleasant site these days? It's so many days I saw you dressed like this. Please iam not able to control myself"

She pushes him and says iam going join me if you want.

The weather was stimulating and Ishitha kept up her promise or rather Raman reminded her whenever she was getting back to the baby issue. Raman really knew how to handle Ishitha and her emotions. They really were having a very nice time. Raman never left a single opportunity to romance her. He came back to the complete obsessed mode. She was also giving in to all the passion he was having for her. Calling her to have bath with him by tricking her, morning and evening tea enjoying the valley view, their outs through the Kashmir valley, candle light dinner, helping her with her flimsy nonexistent blouse, gifting her sexy dresses, enjoying her in that form asking her for French kiss and many more Raman had decided to give her a passionate honeymoon ya a second one. He revived their intimate moments again. He was a doting husband and always wanted her to be happy beyond any problem in life. He knew all these may or may not make her pregnant wowing to her medical problems. Yet he really wished his wife at least gets a stress free life from the family tensions and tension about the baby. She deserved it. She was a sincere woman always trying to do justice to all the role she played and took the necessary care for everyone in the family. It was indeed a stress free time for both Raman and Ishitha. They were back after a week and the glow of their intimate moments was visible in both their faces.

Was it the weather or the treatment or the stress free attempt to conceive rather than a feverish one, Ishitha missed her monthly cycle. She was very excited. She did the test first at home and was very very happy. She wanted to confirm it with the doctor. She wanted to tell her Raman first. That night when both were on the bed, Ishitha decided to tell him after their lave making. She wanted him to be gentle that day, he didn't realize it was because of the kid and thought might be because she is tired. They laid down next to each other with fingers entwined; she took the other free hand of hers and placed on his cheeks while his other hand was at his favorite place. Her breast, he liked kneading her breasts for hours after an intimate intercourse. He felt very relieved by that geasture.She slowly took his hand from her breast. He asked her questioningly with his eyes she said

I: Congratulations Mr Ravan Kumar you are going to become a father for the third time. Thanks for the honeymoon, now I know why were you insisting to go, our kid finally.

R: Ishitha you don't know what this news means to me. Did you go the doctor?

I: No Raman. I tested it at home. I have taken an appointment tomorrow, shall we go

R: what kind of a question is that, of course we will go. So that was the reason why someone didn't want a wild night today. See you have started ignoring me the moment you conceived. I always thought that you will not even let me touch you once your baby wish is done.

I: Raman how can you be jealous of your own kid. So silly.

R: Then what, already you don't have time for me at all. Ok I will agree that you will spend time with me also if you prove it by giving kiss the father of the kid, he also needs the baby's mother as much as the baby needs mama

They kiss passionately relishing the news next dawn was awaiting for them.

Raman and Ishitha reached the hospital. They did all the tests. The results were positive. They were waiting to meet the doctor. Raman got a call and had to take it. It was Ishitha's turn and she goes in. The doctor says that they will be having a twins. Ishitha is very happy and shy also thinking how funny it would be to see herself and Raman handling the twins.

The doctor further adds, her uterus is weak. I suggest you abort these children. The initial days might not be a problem but most likely your delivery might have complications. You may even die. Its very risky for you. It can be fatal. Ishitha is in tears. She requests the doctor not to tell this to Raman. She says he might never agree for this. The doctor is surprised by the love the couple have for each other. She shares the incident where he asked her to hide the truth regarding her gynec complications. This makes Ishitha even more sturn about the decision to have the baby. By then Raman is also back and the doctor congratulates Raman and tells that he is going to have twins. He feels very happy. She suggests Ishitha not to exert much.

D: It's preferable if she is in bed rest. Would be better for her. Then the doctor hesitantly starts, I know both of you personally. I know how much both of you love each other but Mr Bhalla..

R: Tell me doctor

Ishitha becomes worried if the doctor would tell about the complexity involved with the pregnancy.

D: Mr Bhalla, a strict no for any intimation between both of you till delivery. Her health is not so great. So you will have to be careful. Now it's up to both of you how will you do it.

Raman smiles seeing Ishitha and says he will take care. He also asks the doctor is there is anything to be worried off. He is especially asking about Ishitha. The doctor didn't tell him about the whole thing. She called Ishitha separately and gave her few papers which needed to be signed by both in case she had to continue with the pregnancy. This was the hospital procedure as Ishitha's case was fatal. So essentially the doctor said she had to tell Raman.

They are very happy and get some sweats for home. They are very excited to tell their children. Ishitha was constantly thinking about the papers and the issue. But was not showing it off. On the way Raman was asking her

R: Hey Janshi Ki Rani, you tell about our sex life to your friend. She was making fun of me that I cannot resist from doing it to you

I: She is my doctor, she was asking me how are you aggressive or gentle. So I told her

R: What did you tell her that she was giving me such a nasty grin?

I: I told her the truth. That you are the most wild person when it comes to bed.

R: What else did you tell?

I: She asked about the frequency, I told her that it's minimum twice a day like dosage of medicine.

R: Ishitha how could you tell this to someone else, he got very irritated. Our bed room stories are only for both of us.

I: Please, I was joking. I didn't tell her. The whole world knows about your no no our obsession towards each other. Iam sorry, now you will have to ...hesitantly. Don't worry we will do it sometime may not be frequently.

R: Crazy, desperate woman It's about my children's health don't dare seduce me or come near me with those intentions.

I: Now look who is drifting away from me after a child. No care for me. All care only for the child. The child has a mother also who needs the father more than the child. SAs Ishitha says that both laugh.

The site when they reach home was very pleasant. He had told both appa- amma and mummyji and papaji that they are going to the doc to confirm Ishitha's pregenecy.He had also texted them it was positive. They received a very grand welcome when they were back home.

Part 24: Ishitha I need you.

Raman is shocked to know that she had problem and the doctor shows him the consent form that he signed. He is questioning unconscious Ishitha how she could do this to him. He breaks down to sit on the floor full of tears.
