Damn that Raavan Kumaar.. Why did he have to so tenderly caress my hair and try to tie them back..' a positively flushed Ishita paced up and down in the room.. Did he even realize how unbearably intoxicating that was for me..' Raavan Kumaar ..huh'
She was so lost in her blabbering that she didn't realize when Raman came in the room.
Oh Jhaansi ki Raani... Taiyaar nahi hona? Party hai thodi der mein.. Muhurat nikaalun?' Raman asked her in his usual taunting tone.
Waah.. as usual, aise behave kar rahe hain jaise kuch pata hi naa ho..' Ishita thought to herself.
Are you there Madam?' Raman snapped his fingers in front of her eyes.
Haan haan...ho rahi hoon taiyyaar... aap bhi ho jaaiye..' Ishita said to him in a low and irritated tone as she realized that she'll have to get ready for the party and it was not a mean task since she had a major wrist injury.
*10 minutes later - in the living hall*
Raman got ready and came in the living hall. He was normally waiting for Ishita when suddenly something struck him.
Damn! Oh no.. How the hell did I forget? Shit!' he scolded himself as the reality hit him. He recalled that Ishita is injured and he just ordered her to get ready, without even realizing anything.
He immediately went to the bedroom door and asked in a low yet firm tone Ishita?'
There came no reply.
He asked again, this time taking his voice a notch higher .. Ishita? Tum huin taiyyaar?' he mentally cursed himself for asking that stupid question when he obviously knew the answer, but what else could he ask.
Mmm... bas ho rahi hoon... sorry meri wajah se late ho raha hai..5 minute aur bas.. Ishita replied a few seconds later.
It wasn't very tough to understand that Ishita needed obvious help. Raman had easily gauged the slight helplessness in her voice and he could not help but admire the grace she carried even in such adverse situations.
Ishitaa..? Mai andar aa jaaoon?'...realizing what he had just uttered, he immediately corrected himself..'I.. I mean.. andar aakar kuch help karoon?'
WHATTT' Ishita was evidently shocked. But she gradually understood his concern.
She politely refused saying Na koi baat nahi. I'll manage. Bas ..er.. do minute aur.'
Raman could easily feel her uneasiness through her tone. Without saying a further word, he barged in, albeit kindly.
What he saw made his jaws drop.
TO BE CONTINUED VERY SOON.
