I love this song too, and for some reason, I associate it with IshRa too. Maybe its the seriousness of the movie, or the intensity of love that was portrayed on the screen. Your piece has more than justified the use of this brilliant composition!
Now, your story is an actual piece of beauty Aani. It has the intensity of a volcano that has decided not to be dormant any more. And the way you balanced out the sensuous scenes with the serious conversation, I can only applaud!
Raman's biggest insecurity is that someone he loves will leave him. Her biggest discovery is that she has found a man who she wants to be with for the rest of her life. But it required the presence of Subbu to trigger that reaction from him, and her vocalising her feelings. Just like we saw in the episode too. There is nothing like confronting the past to get a better perspective on the present and future.
And honestly, Aani, I can imagine KP nailing this scene you wrote. I can almost visualise him saying the things you wrote, with fear/anger/annoyance in his eyes when he questions her about Subbu!!!
Brilliant piece of work Aani. I am liking the surge of inspiration you've had recently!!!
"Only love of a good woman will make a man question every choice, every action. Only love makes a warrior hesitate for fear that his lady will find him cruel. Only love makes a man both the best he will ever be, and the weakest. Sometimes all in the same moment. -Wicked "
