We all wanted Raman to reprimand Adi instead of covering up his mistake. Any parent would save his or her child's life when faced such a situation. And Raman to did the same by backing Shagun and Adi. Only difference is that he did not even one scold him or made him realise what blunder he has committed and simply went on fulfilling his demands like going on a picnic.

and now he realises he did wrong by getting swayed away in emotions and not letting Adi understand the gravity of the situation.

My question is was Raman right? as a parent it's hard to take this step but this could lead the child getting imprisoned or being admitted to a remand home. It can affect his mental health too sply in Adi's case who is already filled with poison against his dad.

P.S: it's just a question awaiting a genuine reply barring all the drama in the show. what would u as a parent or as a well wisher do in such a situation seeing ur child going out of hands?

yes raman did the right thing...he realised this very late when adi was not in control n he saw tht if now he takes his side then his future will be v dark as he was developing the tendencies of a criminal..he was not ashamed tht he did the accident n he again tried to drive...so i think raman did the rt thing n he knew tht whtevr justice will be done it will open eyes of adi...he will be sacred to commit anything again aftr the punishment...

Unfortunately for Raman, Adi doesn't listen to him. If he would reprimand Adi, even while he was still protecting him, would Adi take him seriously? He would brush him off, just like he did when Raman scolded him in his school. I think Raman had no option but to let Adi know, that mistakes have a punishment and that he won't be forgiven every time.
Yes maybe, if Raman had realized his error earlier, blackmailing him to apologize to the Iyer family would have been a good enough punishment. But with matters out of hand, and with Adi being so blatant and carefree, this seemed like the only viable option, for now.

Right and not right.
I am new to serial but from what I have seen Adi comes from a broken home and lives with a manipulative mother. he has little or no relation with his father.
Yes he deserves to be punished for what he did but sending him to a remand home is not the answer at least not in this case. It will make him more aggressive. Instead Raman should have explained him his mistake and then told him I will tell the magistrate that the mistake was yours and help to defend you
The Judge will give custody to Raman seeing how badly behaved Shagun is

hmmm...i think raman cud have dealt wid dis situatn differently at d beginning of the case but considering the blunder he has done(saving adi), he was justified in sending adi to JDC as xplainig, hitting scoldings, lectures etc will not improve or affect adi in any way ...adi has gone out of cntrl...completely a spoiled brat!!!

In the real world ill say no father would get his son arrested, however majority would not support their child in cases like this. What he did with adi because of blind fatherly love was wrong and if shagun was a good mother than punishment would have been given within the family, the ballas and the iyers would have punished him.

For drama purpose it was good raman got him punished this way, gives a good message.

He doesn't have any other option. Adi doesn't respect or listen him they don't share normal father son relation. Shagun will brainwash him by saying that raman doesn't love him and she also told him whatever he will do wrong raman will save him so he decided this way that whenever adi will be wrong raman will punish him instead of hiding his sin. Adi still has not realised what crime he did and raman help made him more confident that he will save him always in his wrong deed.
He doesn't have any option first he doesn't listen raman and ishita and to whom he listen that person will just brainwash him

I agree sending him to JDC make mental illness. but it is far better than staying with shagun. Raman initially thought adi did accident by mistake. so he thought to give second Chance. now he realized shagun won't let adi to become good. so he took this decision as father.I don't agree punishment is good. we have to change him by love and care. not only adi every one deemed as good only by love not by punishment and scare. that's same thing judge stated. for myself I won't consider it as right or wrong decision instead I feel it's a better option.
