Bala story, it was "tv story" and had nothing to do with legal or ethical matter.

Sorry dear . TV stories don't become ok for bribing . Ashok and Raman r businessmen in India who do it ALL the time and trust me its terribly wrong but also a way of life in corruption ridden countries .

Kools - Legally yes he was absolved from his parenting duties and Shagun had complete charge of Adi. But the way Raman handled Adi when he mistreated his younger sister and even after he came to know about the accident raises questions about him as a parent. He doesn't have a good track record with Ruhi too. He needed an "external voice" and someone to scold him to make him realize what he was doing wrong with Adi. If this school incident would not have happened , he could have joined the Party like he did with the picnic and let Adi be with himself. The fact that he allows his love for Adi supersede his responsibilities , morally, as a parent is very bad. He just doesn't know how to have that balance. The way he lashes at Ruhi sometimes, is very harsh. His equation with her before Ishita was also not appropriate. If say Ishita would have tired talking about Adi, he won't have listened but he needed this reality check to bring forth his abilities as a Parent.

when shagun allowed him to step in, he can still say how he wants to step in and things will go his way. But here they showed raman doing whatever shagun & adimanav did.
But then how can EK show hero/heroine act strong, of course villain has to be smarter one

even Shagn and Ashok are acting like ppl in real life. Why them acting selfish is wrong and Raman as fine

Who says they r wrong , not me . I even said Ashok deserved respect when Shagun was flaunting Raman suddenly in his face . And with that i have said all i want to say ...no more .

Thats the story charminggenie . He has had a bitter divorce that left him mauled and Ishita steps in and becomes his oasis . Where im saying he is perfect father , i am only saying his fright in this case was natural .

Bala's tv story wasn't much of a story !! Ashok paid money to go ahead and hype it and Raman stopped it. If here raman had paid money to stop story on accident i get it but he played with evidence & bribed police office. That is serious offense !!
Where as paying money to channel to run a story versus not is business !!
Don't forget Bala lost his job and Raman was right in telling Ishita why he acted smart, Bala hide the matter from raman and as result he paid for it. So now let Raman pay for thing he hid !

He being all CEO was clueless about court dealings and allowed Shagun to control him.

This is where i differ . He allowed no one to control him , he went along with Shagun coz he was of SAME mind and when he decided to turn Adi in , he did not even confer with her .

His fear as father is of course valid; any father wud fear this. But problem is his actions !! They didn't make sense. They wanted to show he had no other choice without providing proper justification. They stretched the majboori crap for way too long and presentation of things are more dramatic than realistic !!

At the end of the day CVs can very easily manipulate each character to act in weird ways and it may make sense to some and not others. They are working for numbers so if they believe making raman do lungi dance or be bar dancer will bring numbers, they'll do it 😆

Thats not the point . If found out he will be in so will the journalist . Point is he and Ashok do it all the time as a way of life .

Fright is understandable, Kools. But what would a natural reaction at that stage be- shouldn't that father first try to beg, plead and take the first offer presented to him and save his kid. When he knew about Mrs Iyer not wanting this case and knowing that Ishita won't harm Adi , why did he not grovel and get his son to say sorry and closed this case. His post fright reaction doesn't make sense at all. A father would have never let this case go to a court. Never.

Till what point would he have divorce has his excuse , i get he had a hard life but why does he take it out on his kids. He should be jittery about marriage and trust. But if that bench conversation was to be accounted for then he had enough reasons to trust Ishita. He has to work and recognize his faults and start by not taking it all out on Ruhi.
