This is where i differ . He allowed no one to control him , he went along with Shagun coz he was of SAME mind and when he decided to turn Adi in , he did not even confer with her .
When he decided to turn Adi in then he had no other option left. The kind of things that Principle told him, scared and made him realize his failure as a responsible parent who didn't even scold his son for running over someone. He let Shagun dictate the course of case proceedings and allowed her to influence his judgement about Iyers and Ishita.
