I loved your take of the picnic and his realisation of the true reality of his existence. Thank you for underlining so subtly but explicitly the differences in his needs and desires now. Also the phone conversation with Ishita. I found it so adorable that he would be calling her up just to hear her voice and then she calls him out on it! Fab. The thing about these two is their love will be the most ordinary but extraordinary love and we can see glimpses of that already. ( not sure if that makes sense, it does in my head lol!)

I cannot explain the feeling this piece created. Maybe because somewhere it resonates with my state (me and my spouse live in two countries due to circumstances). I completely sympathise with Raman - missing Ishita on one hand and having to reign in the instincts to kill Shagun ( yeah my thoughts are murderous).

Only if this defeat had not come at the cost that it did; only if he were not alone in this. For even though this defeat feels like a victory to him - it is incomplete, hollow and empty still.

Loved it, how u showed that he realizes that whatever he is doing had come at the cost.

Loved the way u described his inner turmoil how he was missing Ishita n how he was realizes that once he had wished for all of them together but after achieving it he is finding it futile though he is happy to see his children together.

I had to show it and thankfully the writers had the same thing in mind not once was he happy when the 4 of them were together cos he got a wish fulfilled he once had but the time made it feel just so empty without her take the selfie scenes the one with only him and Ruhi has him smiling the other was is him being all somber

He remembers complaining just a few days back to her that her voice is irritating him while he carried her in his arms.

thanks for including this. Seems I m not alone who was affected with this line of his. Every time after reading ur OS, I wish in show too they show at least some of his inner thoughts.

I wish they had shown some scene where Raman had a monologue or something about missing Ishita well at least we had the call

Loved here how Raman handled Shagun n can see thru her n also loved the way u brought Sid in his thoughts n also his height issue😆

😆 time is the best teacher like he said to Shagun and I love his complex about his women liking taller guys so couldnt resist the dig 😉😆

Loved the blank call aspect. u took me down the memory lane. Hubby use to do it in initial days of our romance
