Seeing ishita being taken inside the operation theatre and after consoling everyone Romi went aside and started recollecting the events that led to Ishita being here.
Romi was cursing himself thinking that he is at fault here.
He was thinking that if he had confronted Raman after seeing him in hotel room with Shagun without the fear of getting beaten up then this would not have happened.
Ishita would have been safe and sound at home.
' If anything happens to bhabhi I will not be able to forgive myself and Bhai ko toh kabhi bhi nai ', Romi started crying while thinking this ' Ruhi ko kya bolenge hum sab, uski jab toh bhabhi mein ataki rehti hai. Kya kahenge jab woh bhabhi k bare mein puchegi. '
Romi started having flashback of what happened.
After he informed everyone at home that Raman was at Peninsula hotel which caught fire due to short circuit he saw Ishita rushing without seeing anyone or anything or waiting for anyone.
After reassuring everyone that he was going after Ishita he rushed after her in his bike. When he reached there disaster had already taken place.
Raman bhai was already out of the hotel but the disaster was the women in his arms. Even after he saw bhabhi he didn't feel the need to go after her or even have the curtsey to say something to her. He ignored her and went towards his car in which he kept Shagun and went away without even looking back at bhabhi once.
Bhabhi was shattered I tried telling bhabhi ki it's not what it looks like but when she looked at me with her pain filled eyes I couldn't lie to her. I told her all about what I saw at the hotel told her sorry about lying about stomach ache but all she said was atleast tu mujhese Sach toh bolta hai na Romi.
She then said ki let it be let's go home.
Romi was like bhabhi aap do chabi I will drive the car you are not in condition to drive.
Ishita said pagal ho kya. Don't leave your bike here. I m fine Romi kuch nai hua mujhe. You come behind me in your bike if you are that worried.
Romi felt that was the biggest mistake he ever made in his life and that was letting Ishita drive alone.
After 20 minutes of driving when they took turn in which heavy vehicles move he saw a truck loose control and coming towards Ishita's car which was some 150 metres in front of him. He saw the truck crashing in her car. Her car turning upside down rolling over.
He rushed to the site as fast as he could.
He called Ishita's name, rushed to her side of the car, tried opening the door but it was not opening. He felt something wet fall in his hand and he realised he was crying. He looked around for something with which he can break the window. He saw a rock he took it and with all his might threw it at the window opposite side of the car. A loud cracking sound occurred. He unlocked the car through that broken window and opened the door.
He very carefully managed to get Ishita out. What he saw made him almost throwup. His bhabhi was drenched in her own blood. Her head was bleeding heavily her abdomen had glass pieces stuck to it.
Her last words to him before she lost conscious were tell my Ruhi that I love her and tell your brother that now he is free to be with anyone he want without any hiding. I free him...
