Raman (Karan Patel) is in for a shock of his life in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. After learning the apparent truth behind Amma's accident, Raman is in a fix. Shagun's (Anita Hassanandani) confession of having committed the act infuriates Raman. At first, he is ready to hand over Shagun to the authorities but when his son Adi intervenes, Raman is forced to hide the truth.

Raman loves Adi and can do anything for him, even if it means letting Shagun off the hook. The man who was determined to punish the culprit has now succumbed to her demands. The story does not end there, Raman was so determined to catch the culprit that he called everyone to the Bhalla house to discuss the issue. Now, the Iyers and Bhallas are awaiting his return only to be dejected by Raman's answer.

He not only saves Shagun but tells the entire family that Parmeet (Anurag Sharma) did not commit the act neither does it involve Shagun or Ashok (Sangram Singh). While everyone in the family is shocked, Mrs. Iyer puts her full trust in Raman. An observant Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) senses something fishy and talks to Amma about the situation. In upcoming episodes her detective instincts will kick in and she will investigate the case on her own. Raman on the other hand is too torn to realize that Shagun admitted her crime so easily.

It will come as a shock for Raman when he will realise that Shagun really didn't commit the crime. She definitely made the confession to protect someone. The revelation would come as a great shock for Raman.

Shagun can do this either for herself or for Ashok ... as Adi was there and he plead for his mother means Adi was not the one who did accident ... Shagun is the culprit or Ashok and she knows Raman can never forgive him and she knows that because of ADI and herself( according to her Raman is still in her Love) she could be forgiven.

Ashok still have chances as Ashok and Mr. Tandon are partners so his phone and giving the message is possible... Mihir can't as Ashok will never save Mihir as He is Raman's right hand man .

ok..I am officially sick of this mystery now..what the hell..just get over with who is the real culprit and move on..this track has been stretched too far!!..and why cant CVs give spoilers now?..this confusion is killing viewers' interest in the show..

Well, this makes sense. If Mihir is indeed Shagun's brother, then at some point, he'd want to side with her. I remeber this line from the movie Sarkar Raj, 'Jaroorat se jyada wafadari or gaddari ke bich me fasla bohaut hi kam hota hai'. I completely agree with that dialogue and if this article is true, then we're headed that way.
This definitely blows for Mihika but I always thought she deserved someone better than Mihir.

this is where i want to quote Ishu.. KUCH BHI,...😆 i am more than convinced with Shagun bein the culprit...as i wanted Raman to back out coz of Adi n its happenin..nw i dnt care if culprit is again changed last min-bas hope its not mihir(hes the best positive supportin char) n its not adi(as he sitll kid)
