If Ekta goes her usual route as in past serials, then I think here's how the stem cell track will proceed..
Well, the reason the stem cell info was introduced was two reasons ..
1.From a message perspective it acquaints audience with a fairly new medical advancement and sheds light on how diseases can be cured with stem cell technology
2.From drama persective, I think if this were usual Ekta show, she will show Adi getting sick at some point ...They will diagnose the disease after multiple tests etc to be of a malignant nature ...Both Shagun and Raman will get on an understanding level of friendship in the course of Adi's sickness...Raman will spend nights with SHagun and Adi at the hospital etc...
Once diagnosed they will join hands in using the stem cell and curing Adi ...All this will break any ill feelings between them ...
In this process Shagun will fall for RAman again and desperately want him back ..Raman on the other hand will stop Hating shagun but won't like her in that sense ...
I just hope that if they show something like this, Ishita knows exactly what's happening and is not hurt...
I just can't bear to see her get hurt ..She's too noble a soul and sometimes I feel she gets treated like a doormat ...
After this will start Shaguns cheap efforts to get Raman back ...
I remember something similar happening in KZK ..where Anurag and Prerana get together to have another kid whose bone marrow they had to use to cure their first kid .(in that case Anu and P were orig couple so it was nicer to watch...
