@red - tell me about it! the moment I start writing anything with his POV - the mere thought that there can be only the physical aspect to this relationship seems blasphemous to me being in his shoes, his reply to Shagun - rishte choone ya na choone se nahi bante - they echo in my mind; those words might have been meant as a way to put Shagun in her place but they also echo his opinion on what he feels makes a marriage to me, and especially how he cannot even think or demean Ishita by considering her in this light only - by objectifying her. Yes he is attracted to her - as a man, as her husband but.. this relationship will reach that pinnacle where giving over yourself - submitting yourself in every which way possible to your partner is the only thing left to complete it - but that would be in a natural progression - as an expression of love in its truest, basest form and not a means to gratification solely. 😳
