You're a talented writer, Maggie ji, but more than that, you have a way of bringing whole lives alive in very few words. It reminds me of those times when the softest caress means more than the deepest kiss.
This story made me think about watercolours and pointillism. It is proof to me that life is not all in the painstaking details... sometimes you must meander, let the soft colours wash over you without fretting about their shades.
If I go on in this way, I'll become crazy pretentious. I think you know how much stories like this mean to me and how much its depth has made me reflect.
"In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art."
The funny thing about art is that, without the right key to bringing it alive, it remains a pretty thing with no meaning. And isn't love an art?
You are the breath that has brought their art alive.

That was so amazing! 👏
Definetely one of the best OS' i've read.
I was so sad at the beginning, and was trying to control my tears, and at the end i was doing the same, but due to happiness. 😊
I'm still feeling as if something's stuck at my throat. 😭
You are a wonderful writer.
But maybe i was so lost in your story and I got so sad that i just spoke rudely to my dad when he said something inbetween. Regretting it a lot. 😭😭
Yet, i loved reading this OS and look forward to reading more from you. 👍🏼

If I am not mistaking this is the first time you have posted anything on the forum, I hope you continue to do so now.

Simply fabulous... could easily connect with Ishita's turmoils. And also loved the lines you've quoted... they were apt with the scenarios. From start to end the story moved with an ease and comfort. Just loved it.

Maggie - Congrats - What a fantastic one shot - So well written.
I really really like your writing style - simple direct pithy sentences one after another for each new thought without any extra words that still fully effectively communicated all the necessary information and emotions.
Its amazing how most communication requires such few words.
Loved their story and their journey - start to end, every step
Hope you write lots more.
