Another great thing about your one off fictions is that they provide an insight in the characters' emotions through their subconscious thoughts and conversations that should be mentioned in the show but for some reasons they aren't included. Through this Os, the readers will have some ideas on how Ishu really felt. She must have felt so humiliated that even words cannot describe. Therefore this is causing her an unspeakable anger which is shown in her dance although she did later softened up and warmed up in the dance when her husband wipe her tears. And then very loving rested her head on his shoulder like her head belong to him and his shoulder. Normally both Ishra are very dominating but at that moment she submitted herself to him. She belong to him only. There is so much intensity,mind-blowing chemistry and unique storytelling which is communicated through their dance.
Now I am going off the track in here, coming back to your Os, you have done something vital in this Os which is writing in Ishu's point of view. That is a difficult task to master, particularly due to the fact that while we know Raman very well, since his character had progressed so much through the series so it's easy to identify his emotions and thoughts. Whereas we can't really see how Ishu is feeling or her thoughts because probably because the show didn't focus on that area. This is one thing about the show that I was disappointed about. Probably because there isn't enough time on show since its only approx. 22mins. Well done, my dear friend Aani, you have managed to write Ishu's point of view into very justified way and she was in character. š
Hey Mary thank you so much for this wonderfully sweet comment š
@bold - yep that's what I felt too the anger was so much for her to handle she might not have uttered a single word but her face, her eyes gave her away. She was beyond humiliated by this move of Raman' and therefore it transcended even in her moves, where she is trying to push him as hard as she could whenever permissible within the movements of the dance.
@red- beneath that anger was also the pain that she had, the fact she was hurt by this callous move Raman made, so when the pain somehow overpowered the anger, she could not hold it in anymore and a tear came forth, BUT the fact that Raman not only noticed it, but he wiped it off, and that too in a way which would not allow anyone to even notice that it was there in the first place it touched her. She was already feeling insulted but to cry in front of so many people would have been even more humiliating to her - in wiping away that one tear he saved the remainder of her pride and respect which made her forgive him as per me š³ the placing her head on his shoulder was also a symbolic way of stating she finds herself secure with him enough to let him see her tears, that he is the shoulder she can lean on - and only him and no one else. š³
@blue - yep that's what makes it sometimes a fun job to get inside her head and sometimes its also a chore since she is a blank board as of now the thing is I believe the makers are opting for a novel like approach here, you only see things the protagonist sees and knows and atm that is Raman here, so we only know his end of the story, his side of things whenever its allowed. Also thats what sets YHM apart from the rest of the shows in this aspect - here the narrator (kinda) happens to be a man, so we know only his pain and trails unlike most which focus on the girl and neglect the hero. The show so far is barely 150 - 160 epis in, so this is not something which worries me truthfully, cause when Ishita takes over it will be very amazing to see the change of graph from her end. Also that would enable us some new insights into her š³
@pink - thank you Mary for saying this it means a lot to me š¤
