OS: Rekindled Passion - Part 2

- Ishita open that damn door before I break it and get you out of this damn bathroom.

She would not open and he was getting really restless. He had goofed up royally this time.

*Flasback*

After his clash of words with Shagun, he had found Ishita standing in front of him with their desserts. Discarding the sweets, he had taken her by the elbow and moved to the dance floor, whispering to her - Let's dance.
She had tried to decline but he would not listen. He was angry she could see it. She had wanted to calm him down but he had hushed her by putting his index on her lips and said - You talk a lot.

And there with the slow music and romantic ambiance on the dance floor, staring in her expressive eyes, drinking in her cherry like lips and having her so close to him, he had lost control of the situation . He had pulled her closer and pressed her tightly against him, his hands finding their way around her waist. She had gasped and had looked at him with her eyes wide as she felt his bulge against her belly. She had tried to get away but he had kept pulling her closer wrapping his arms around her like a band. Finally releasing herself from his grip, she had sped up to the main entrance leaving a flabbergasted Raman.




Raman knew he had gone too far. He was upset and much tensed. She was still locked there and he desperately wanted to talk to her.
- Ishita please open the door. You are freaking me out. I am sorry. Please...

The door opened and she came out, her arms crossed in front of her chest looking at him squarely in his face.
- I am not killing myself Raman. I would rather kill you.

Raman heaved a sigh of relief. He started:

- Listen...
- No you talk too much Mr Bhalla. You will listen now.

Count on that woman to use his line on himself. Raman was had no option but to listen to her.

- I know Shagun provoked you. I know you tend to lose it around her. I know you love her and her every word and action affect you but I am warning you STOP. PLAYING. YOUR. WICKED. GAMES. WITH. ME.
I am not your toy.

Huh? What was she saying? He still loves that selfish Shagun? The woman who ruined his life and made it devoid of emotions? And was she implying that he was using her?
She was so dumb that woman.

- Ishita you are mistaken.

She refused to listen and turned away to dismiss him with her hand:
- I don't want to discuss Shagun and definitely not what happened in the party.

She was embarrassed and turned red in the face. He grabbed her wrist making her upturn her face to stare at him, her eyebrows cocked.
- But I want to talk about it. And you will listen to me.

His eyes looked at her with a fierce resolution and she knew it would be vain trying to get away. He made her sit at the edge of the bed and went to the window staring into nothingness and he went about telling her finally the "Shagun" chapter of his life. Her eyes watered realizing how much that woman had disrespected him, humiliated him and killed him inside for her greed and ambitions while he kept giving and giving and getting nothing in return.
He had opened up his wounds to her, bared his soul to her. And she finally admitted to herself with melancholy that she has lost her heart to him. Instinctively, her loving and caring nature overpowering her senses, she reached up to him and hugged him without thinking of the aftermath.
She felt him pulling her closer tightening his grip around her and she heard him muttering heatedly against the column of her neck:
- Stop me Ishita. I won't be able to stop myself

She did register what he had said but was unable to put any sense to it. Stop him? How could she when he was that close and she could feel their erratic heartbeats - hers drumming in her chest cavity, his racing under her palm as she clutched his shirtfront in helpless abandon. And as she looked up in his eyes, she was lost!
He took her lips... surprising her...melting her inside... As the desire took over, she felt his lips growing softer against hers and... she lost count of time. All she knew was that she trusted him... to keep her safe... while the ground seemed to be slipping beneath her feet. His warmth enveloped her again as she felt him drew closer to her, holding her, touching her lovingly and when she felt his fingers undoing the knot at the back of her blouse, she quivered in anticipation. He pulled her hair free and did what he had been dying to do for a long time - bury his head in them! When he lifted his face, his eyes were hooded with passion and desire, he moved to the bed with her, his eyes never leaving hers.
They knew they had reached the place of no return. She was in love with this man. He was not any man. He was her husband. Will he ever love her back she didn't know but she was ready to give herself to him and would not regret it. As he took her in his embrace, they gave themselves to each other.

When Raman woke up in the night, entangled in Ishita's hair, he was a fulfilled man! He was in love. The love he was feeling for her had surpassed anything he had ever experienced. Yes he had loved Shagun or should he say that she was beautiful and had fallen for her. But Ishita! He has fallen in love with her and she was the most beautiful woman for him! She was his soul mate and now he could not imagine life without her. It was time to tell her how much he loved her. She really deserved it. He was tempted to wake her up to say the three famous words but he didnt want to disturb the contented smile on her face.



Epilogue:
But the next morning a surprise was waiting for him. When he woke up, his eyes hooded with sleep searched for her.
And there she was! Getting ready to work! What a boring woman he has got married to. He rolled his eyes. He walked to her and hugged her from the back to tell her what he had wanted to tell her but she released herself and refused to look at him.What she said next left him speechless.

- Raman you relax. I knew what I was doing. You don't have to feel guilty about it.

What the hell! No!! She wasn't regretting what happened between them and wanted to make him feel guilty? A fuming Raman started ranting.

- Are you out of your mind? Are you dumb or you seriously like to act like one? You fool! You stupid bewakoof woman, do you have any common sense or not? Why will I feel guilty for making love to my wife?

- Raman please, stop shouting like this. Mummy ji n the others will hear you.

Exasperated he continued:
- I don't care. I guess it is my phooti kismet that I always end up falling in love with the wrong woman. This time I have to deal with a pea size brain.

Ishita widened her eyes . Had he said he had fallen in love with her? Facing him, she asked:

- What did you say?
- You have a pea size brain.
- No just before that?
- What? You are a dumb woman.
- No just after that?
- Kya hain yaar. I said you are stupid. You have no common sense. What's there to be so happy about??

Ishita rushed to his side, her eyes all wide with a broad smile on her face and said:
- What did u say about ur phooti kismet?

An irritated Raman replied:
- What? I tend to fall in love with the wrong woman!

She threw herself in his arms, wrapping her hands around his neck and went a long :
- Awww, I love you too.

He shook his head in disbelief as she rested her head on his chest hugging him tight!
He was married to a crazy woman indeed!
