An overcast sky looms large over the Bhalla's and Aiyer's. Romi is under clouds which are resonating with an ominous thunder to remind him of his misdeeds when he sent out that awful mns and tried to get Mihika alone in his friend's flat on the pretext of a lunch treat. Mr.and Mrs. Bhalla are caught in a tornado.Their daughter's husband is a lecherous womaniser and they have penalised the poor " Madrasan"for his misdeeds . As for Simi it feels like a cloudburst which has wiped away all traces of happiness and hope from her life ..Bala a full throated lecturer in front of whom his students cower in silence -- his voice has been drowned by the truth which Raman thundered at him and in this storm Bala has no shelter to run to. Mr Aiyer has placed himself in a vantage point and is biding his time wisely and patiently for the storm to get over. Mrs Aiyer feels the incessant downpour and wonders if there will be any respite for Ishita. However right she may be will she always have to weather a storm to prove herself. As for Ishita she has no answer when her husband asks her why did you not share my umbrella when the heavens were raining hailstones on you-- why did you not tell me----- But friends the sun has nudged itself out from under the layers of grey clouds hiding it and that too with a slightly naughty smile and suddenly joined me just as the short clip got over -----
In which Raman confesses to Ishita that he could not protect his child's mother the way he should and is sorry about it and Ishita responds by asking him -- ghar ja rahe ho and he says yes to which she replies -"alone"
And hearing that its a 360 degree turn and Raman breaks out into a smile. A rare smile not one laced with cynicism A genuine smile . And to be precise that's when the sun came out .
