Hello guys, I am a silent reader of this forum, bt today I just had to make this post after reading all the posts against Raman & his reaction. This is just my POV, so plz no bashing... N its gonna be a really looonnggg post, so plz bear wid me

First of all, I really appreciate the way yeasterdays episode was handled. I know a lot of people wont agree on this but I will still say ki I really liked the way the whole scene was portrayed, bcoz I felt that it was handled in a very subtle & realistic way. Nothing was dramatic, filmy n over the top.. Kudos to all the cast members for the bang on acting👏👏

Now coming back to the main topic of post... RAMAN... Why everyone is hell bent on bashing him?? Just bcoz he reacted like any other normal human being would react in such situation??? Just bcoz he didn't behaved like a typical hindi film hero shouting the cheesy dialogues tht "Main Ishita ke khilaf ek lafz bhi nahi soon sakta.. Agar bhagwan bhi mujhse aake kahe ki ye galat hain to bhi main nahi manoonga", Blah...Blah...Blah.. Do u guys really wanted him to behave tht way???🤢🤢 Coz tht happens only in HINDI DRAMATICAL MOVIES like Dhadkan(Remember Akshay Kumar dialogue??Main tumhari har baat manane ko taiyar hu par ye baat nahi ki iske charitra pe daag hai😕😕)

Forget about everything else for a moment... Forget about the TRUST thing, forget about the freaking "this is just a deal, nt marriage" thing.. Forget everything else n think in a realistic way ki how would any normal human being would behave if he has been slapped on the face by the proof stating his wife is cheating on him.. Tht too a if u r a person who has suffered the same kind of betrayal once.. Will u really turn a blind eye to the proof dancing in front of u n stick to ur spouse's side just bcoz u trust ur spouse????Do we all are really tht idealistic?? The answer is NO.. Common guys... Open ur eyes n be realistic...

Forget about Raman n Ishita, even I will behave in a same way as Raman did. I am married for past 7 yrs n mine is a love marriage, I have known my hubby for last 8 yrs but still I will behave the same way n I can guarantee u all tht even my hubby will react the same way Raman did. Bcoz we all r humans nt God.. We make mistakes n learn from them Raman is a human being not God.. Thn y u all want him to behave like a God?? N y u all think ki he doesn't trust Ishita??? If he didn't trust her then he wouldn't even have bothered to listen to her whole story... He wouldn't have shouted Simi whn she was blabbering some s**t abt Ishita n slapped her..He wouldn't even have waited till tht jerk Param did his whole drama saying I will go.. see the proof, etc.. N most importantly if he really didn't have trust in Ishita then he would have kicked her out of the house immediately.. He didn't do anything of tht sort.. He didn't even say anything wrong or abusive to Ishita like tht dumbo sis of his.. The only accusation he made was tht he is nt able to understand whom to believe.. Is it so wrong to be confused when he is unexpectedly stuck in a situation where he has to believe either his family whom he has known since wayyy long or his wife whom he has known for hardly some months.. N if u listened to his last dialogue carefully, all he said was,"main ye nahi samajh pa raha hu ki koun sahi hai aur koun galat" meaning he is jst confused & puzzled which is very natural bcoz all of this is happening so unexpectedly n tht too concerning his BIL who is shown as very decent n chivalrous infront of evreryone else. Please try to understand guys tht to the outer world, Param is shown to be very decent n genuine guy.. Only, we as audience have seen his true colors not Raman.. So it is difficult for him to believe all this.. and if u have observed the whole episode carefully, it is very evident tht Raman was on the verge of believing Ishita till tht msgs part..

So guys, I think Raman's reaction was very much justified yesterday as it was very realistic and natural.. Remember tht he has always been shown as short tempered person who does not think before reacting, plus he has experienced the betrayal once in his life by the woman he loved most whereas he is not even in love with Ishita yet for god's sake😕 Agreed tht he has known her for long to believe tht she can't n won't ever stoop so low but the same can be said abt tht creepy jerk. He has known him also for tht much long to believe tht he can do something like this... I again want to emphasize here tht only, we, as audience have seen his true colors not Raman.. So on wht basis should he take a call n tht too when tht creepy jerk leech has provided the so called saboot??😡😡 So, wht did u expect him to do in such situation?? Jhadofy some gheese peete dialogues like I trust u completely Ishita.. Bhagwan galat ho sakta hai par tum nahi, etc, etc??? N cmng to the last part whr he commented abt their relationship, I think it was jst a reflexive action against the shock n jolt he felt. Tht was a spontaneous reaction by him on realizing tht the creepy Param knew abt their relationship status. He jst blurted it out as he was shocked, susprised n to a certain extent hurt... So for me Raman's each n every action was justifiable.. I wont blame Raman here jst bcoz he is finding it difficult to come in terms with whts happening.. I am not saying he is right, all I am saying is he is human who is bound to make mistakes in such situations.. Sorry for being dramatic here, but I would like to emphasize here tht even Lord Ram did a mistake in judging Seeta's character, so Raman is just a human..

So, all said and done, I just want to say one thing, tht for once, the CVs are trying to show something realistic avoiding the drama in a very subtle way which we all can relate to.. So please try to appreciate it..

And last but not the least, I am hoping against hope tht Ekta Kapoor will not ruin everything which she has built so beautifully till now just to drag this track unnecessarily.. I dnt know if Raman will be the one to expose tht jerk or not & I dnt care either.. The only thing I want is not to ruin his character which has been maintained consistent till now.. He is puzzled & confused, understandable.. But I sincerely hope he doesn't shout or humiliate Ishita calling her characterless & all the crap, coz he is always shown to be a good hearted person. He is short tempered, yes, but not a bad person.. So, a sincere request to CVs, plz don't butcher his character to increase the TRPs n drama..

Love ya all!!!

👏 Finally a sensible post abt this issue. I completely agree with u...im also a silent reader and was actually thinking about making a post like this! Pehle ppl say wow, what a realistic serial and characters, then when things that are actually real happen, sab pagal ho jaate hain. Im actually completely WITH raman in this situation. WAIT. Im NOT against ishita. No woman will EVER lie abt something as serious as this, and esp not if the person is of ishitas character. BUT raman has been betrayed before! He belived in his wife the same way we want him to belive in ishita and got dumped in return. How the heck can u expect him to be all "no way, ishita is pavitra, param, whose been nothing bt nice to my family is the jerk"?! ITS NOT POSSIBLE. The fact that hes even CONSIDERING ishita might be telling the truth tells us how much he loves her...becuase the first reaction if he didnt care would be to kick her out. So just chill the eff out guys. Cut the REALISTIC CHARACTER some slack. Once bitten twice shy isnt just a saying. It actually applies to reality.

I completely agree with you...
humans are with flaws so does raman...
I was little bit disappointed regarding the revelation of his marriage relationship...I felt it could be avoided...but then I understand his state of mind at that moment...and living with a bitter past...this was bound to happen...I cannot ignore the fact that his eyes spoke volumes of pain...sadness...confusion...dilemma...when the creepy family accuse and accuse his wife...while he is helpness becos he is caught b/w 2 precious womens of his life...his wife and sister...there is no proofs...and he is clueless what is the actual story...whom is right...whom is wrong

but no mercy for the family full of idiots...their filthy mouth was bleeding my ears 😡 ...their cheap mentality proves SIL is equal to son but a DIL is a doormat who is not even equal to a maid forget daughter

Dear Topic Maker,
Please know, that i LOVE you!
Im tired of proving Raman's point and explaining his character in this forum... log haath dhoke peeche parh gaye hain uske! 😆

hope youve read my review on the epi/him in any of the threads... and if u havent, well, no problems, KNOW that i AGREE with you & Raman DOESNT deserve the bashing! Hes A flawed man, a realistic one at that... and what he did was ABSOLUTELY normal... he trusted her even though he wasnt obliged to!

Thnk u all..
I think d problem wid the peoeple is tht they r sooo used to watch d typical dramatic stuff tht they cnt take d realistic approach to things..

N I dnt understand y people think raman doesnt trust or care abt Ishu.. His care n feelings were so evident in yesterdays n previous days episodes.. A round of applause for KP for the bang on expressions👏👏 But jst bcoz he didnt say some filmy lines people concluded tht he doesnt care, he doesnt trust etc.. Seriously people, which husband jhadofies some filmy dialogues in such situations??

Wow, loved your post and totally made sense, yes raman said that about their relationship, but like you said it was by accident, in anger, and impulsive, everything was high tension and things were being said. Unlike many other male leads, raman was so much better, usually they would say all sorts of things to the heroin and throw them out or something like that, but here nothing like that, he just said the one line and everyone is up in Arms, yes it's justifiable in the sense it's a natural reaction and very human, it's going along with the drama thats unfolding, and it trying to keep up and reacting along the way, yes it was disappointing what he said that, to ishu cause it hurt her and there's nothing wrong with having a character with flaws, it's actually good seeing good traits and flaws In a character, just goes to show how well developed they are, they are not gods or perfect people.
And don't worry, everything will be exposed by next week sat, going by the spoilers, raman will find out and reveal the truth about the lying leech. So ekta def keeps him consistent.

And I hope to see more post from you, this was great.
