Mistakes...is he doing mistakes. People say mistakes are there to learn. But, he is learning less and doing more mistakes. If this is what these mistakes mean..then forget about him being a loyal husband.
And, BTW, every time he will mistake, will need proof to realize that it's a mistake and he will or will not cover for it. Is it a cycle to be continued forever😲?

My POV...
Justifiable is not the word I would use..I would say his behavior and reaction is understandable. Roman used to be a rather simple man .A man content with his life .. being married to a woman he loved unconditionally. .being a father..A devoted son and a loyal emploee! He became completely shattered Mand due to Shagun's betrayal..despite remaining a responsible son and father he emotionally withdrew from life and became cold and heartless where the only thing that mattered was making money and becoming more successful than his ex wife's lover, his ex boss. That became muksat in life. And BANG along comes Ishita. These two people despised each other because of their interaction and pre conceived notions of each other. They entered into the institution of marriage for Ruhi.. Neither thought of the relationship between them that how can two people live together that can't be civil to one another and present a facade of a normal husband and wife.
I won't get into the progression of both since their marriage but will say that I Ishu has wholeheartedly accepted the marriage his family and him as a husband so there were expectations formed on her part. She expected Roman to undoubtedly trust and stand by her cause that's what normal husband's do. RAman on the other hand despite thawing to a certain degree has still held himself distant from this marriage.
Therefore for me his reaction though i didn't line it and wanted to tell him that silence is holden completely understood it.
He became a controlling man post betrayal and yesterday things were out of his control making him in his mind vulnerable. Him asking for the phone to me was not an indication of his LACK OF TRUST in Ishu but he needs verification a major reason being his past experience and the FACT that he does not love Ishu and has yet to FULLY ACCEPT this marriage.
He has changed but i doubt he will ever open himself ever be as open as before...He will never expose himself that way...He has realized Ishu's importance and Is beginning to appreciate her however this situation involves his sister and brother in law. ..how can he pick Ishu just like that...He needs proof...which led to him asking for the phone...The messages being read by everyone which indicated the lack of husband wife relationship between them...of course he would question on how does Param know...it was an understandable question ..reaction.
However it should be noted he didn't YELL..MANHANDLE HER to get answers ..He was trying to figure the facts...can't blame him for that...This to me made it evident that he TRUSTS HER over Param.
Silence would have been better but that's not Raman but he is fair and will get to the truth...

If saying what is wrong and not blindly defending loved character is being biased, okay, am in it. I would love to be biased.
