<div>If I am not wrong Sarika did complain against her assaulter in Dubai. She wasgoing to complainabout Prevmeet to policeagain with Ishita. But in the last moment she DECEIVED her. Why? because she thinks that jobless Pervmeet will help her? She did not complain against pervmeet not because she is suffering from psychological problem but because she wants her mother to get well supposedly with pervmeet's money. Psychologically she seems to be strong but morally no. And as I said if she did support Ishita she would have got Ishita's help for her mother's treatment, but she is a fool, she didn.t do that! What did she do? She changed sidesso that she gains from the situation. What do you call them? An opportunist. She has given a wrong evidence in police station. If she did the same thing in a court, that would have been a crime.

And again I am saying this is not about women's psychology who are harassed. This post is about Sarika who did complain about pervmeet before in a different country, who does not seem to be psychologically weak, who promised to help Ishita but backed out NOT because she is psychologically weak but because she wants Pervmeet's money.

When you put it this way it makes sense. But this is what I think, sarika must have thought ishita is like her and will be scared to parmeet. So she assumes that parmeet is the only one who can help her. Ishita cannot help her financially because she is assaulted by the same guy who had assaulted her and will loose everything like she did and live life of fear

Ishita is like her & that is why she was going to complain the police?Ishita is not an opportunist like her. 🥱. I don't know why some are posting about psychologically affected harassed women. Sarika is far from it. 🥱

Thank you so much for this post this changes so much for me, true I would still love to see Sarika being instrumental in getting that Perv the punishment he deserves but I see where she comes from better now, I hope somehow she finds the will to stand up to that creep and as for her mother I am sure if Raman learns the truth he will aid her financially to help treat her mom.

Oh wow, I'm glad it helped change some perspective for you, cause I really admire your work a lot. And yes I hope she gets the courage as well. Thanks for the comment

Thank you, and glad you understand. Totally agree with and brilliantly said. I agree they showing two different women and I'm glad and yeah hopefully everything works out for Sarika.

Good post bila_a and ThruMyEyez-Nita
Defintely agree that molestation trauma takes years to heal if at all sometimes. In addition to the societal pressures it makes the makes the victim question their own worth. In addition, what I got from yesterday's epi was that Parmeet threatened her mother's life subtly, it was not just about giving Sarika money for her mother.
I am glad they are contrasting the two possible responses with Sarika and Ishu. People have different breaking points.
Yesterday I read some posts saying what Ishu should or should not have done, it is important to remeber that while Ishu escaped, she did suffer a molestation attempt and is still in danger of another. So, she has also already been traumatized and my sense from yesterday was that she trying to keep it all together for the confrontation and partially from the adrenaline.
In anormal situation, once Parmeet is put behind bars and/or tossed by Raman, Iishu would still have scars that could affect her relationship with men. Remember Parmeet even taunted on and reopenend her scars on the inability to conceive and there for free game.
The human psyche is very fragile and Ifor one couldn't even imagine what it would be like to be in the shoes of a victim.

So true, from the sidelines it's easy to say Sarika should've done this or that, but we cannot understand until we are in her shoes. The shame/disgrace associated with this stigma can lead to people doing anything to keep it hidden.

Also even Ishita was willing to giv him a chance despite his sickening advances till now, bcz he is family.

When it comes to women's honor it's a very fragile thing. Irrelevant of society & times.

As we know, Ishita will be thrown out of the house, being a soap and she the lead, it will be investigated, but in real life how many husbands will? How many women will not be taunted even after everything has been cleared up that she was innocent?

PS. rmmbr you from EBP forum😳

Well put, it is very easy for us, black and white clear cut when we look in from the outside. But it's a whole other ball game until we are in their place. There are a lot of factors in play. I agree in reality they never get the help, that stigma is still there even after everything is cleared and still affects the person along with the trauma, many husbands may not even be able to step in, support their wives or treat the same.
Definitely on point on women honour, it's sad but so true
Oh wow, I can't believe someone remembers me for another forum, yeah I used to be pretty active their but not anymore. Are you still there😊

@ehsaas thanks for the comment and very well put about all the factors on Sarika, especially how if ishu isn't safe what make Sarika not be in harms way from pervmeet.

@eternalasha thank you for your input, you always have such interesting things to say and you brought to my notice about perv threatening her mum which makes Sarika all the more reason to back away from ishus help or helping her . And yeah she did suffer an attempt which would make anyone traumatised and in a different state of mind and I get that feeling well, she is trying to be composed so she can let it out all at once not say it over and over again especially about such a situation and unfortunately your right it does leave a mental scar forever, not something one can get past so easily, right now ishu is holding it together probably from the shock, the fact that her number priory is to reveal the perv and right now is not the time to be a mess, but I'm sure it will all come flooding out, all the emotions and pain soon.

Thank you all for the comment, you guys made the post even better and provided really good points

Ishita shouldn't have let it out to Parmeet that she knows about Sarika. If Parmeet didn't know, then he couldn't have threatened Sarika till after the case was filed.
I don't blame Ishita either, as she was emotionally charged. But her words she told Parmeet about Sarika show the difference. Ishita is not like Sarika who bore it all, and why did Sarika bear it all? Because Sarika is in a position to be threatened, blackmailed, manipulated.
