Disclaimer; Though I LOVE Raman, I've always been someone who has pointed out Raman's flaws when NEEDED. Thus I'm not biased against him and supporting him blindly because I love him. CHEERS.
THIS ^^^^^ is the only way, I would understand the bashing of Raman Kumar Bhalla.
Firstly, the way he reacted in his room was NORMAL... Unless, crying his eyes out over Ishu leaving the house is the NORM than I don't see what's so wrong with how he reacted. For the love of god, his NOT head over heels in love with her yaar. BUT that doesn't mean that he hates her either. The way he reacted in his room today, was RKB being pissed off with Ishu for overreacting over such a simple issue. AND in his usual RKB style, he's trying to hide the fact that he is actually worried, Ishu might have taken the whole Shagun thing the wrong way. His trying to sort of NOT acknowledge the feeling that has arisen in him, by stating "compromise marriage" thingy, his basically finding excuses to write off the new found "FEELING, SENSATION, EMOTION[call it what you want] BUT the point is... The "compromise marriage" was just a facet, deep down he was desperately trying to find her and sort out things. I wonder why people never notice that... Why..Why..Why..!
Secondly, in the police station let alone Raman even My Dad would have reacted the same way despite him & my Mom being in love... She's keeping numb, and he just frantically searched for her plus the police officer only irritated him further, how do you expect him to react... Start singing a sad BG music is it?!... he wasn't shouting because he was angry, he was shouting because he CARED... C-A-R-E-D... he wanted to know the truth so that he can get her out. Did you guys see the slight change of expression when Bala's walks in and Raman says, "You called Bala"... THERE... it shows that, he definitely wanted to be the one Ishu would come too in terms of need, he wanted to be there for her BUT of course you can't expect him to do it openly... Bro, you crazy or what... They've NOT officially declared their feelings... This aint NO Indian movie, where either the hero OR heroine sees the other inside the prison and immediately feels the emotions, declares their love and shift the frame to some mountain backdrop for a romantic song. It's all about being REAL Bro... REALISTIC.. you read, what I'm saying...

AND Lastly,
Give the Man a BREAK yaar. He talks nicely on the phone,there's a problem...the way he acted in the room and in the police station..is also a problem... If everything he says or does is a problem... Than this ONLY means that the problem is not Raman, it's...in the eyes that sees him.
