This is horrible to show that Ishita is not only alone, but Toshi and Simi support the pervert to no end. There are many reasons CVs should have shown women support for Ishita and done drama in another way, but nope despite of all the right reasons below this is what they do.
1. Everyone claims that woman watch TV serials most then why give a message that no one in your own house will trust you if you try to raise voice.😭😭
2. Did we not have enough gang rapes????? Let alone sexual harassment in all walks of life!! Isn't it at least time to show something positive for woman to stand strong to such issues.
3. Kekta maiya is a woman too!! Can't she use this medium to tell woman to stand by each other in such times. In this case it would have been legitimate as well. Parmeet has a been accused before of the same and lost his job due to the same. Dumb Toshi or even dumber Simi could give it a thought!!!😕😕 Ishu has never been accused of bad character, but Perver permo has been!! Where are your brains Toshi and Simi 😕😕😕😕
4. If woman is married the first person she runs to in such a case is husband, but in poor Ishu's case she has to be there for every small stupid crisis of Raman, but she is left alone to fight this and that's ok as long as those dumb woman don't harass Ishu and support the pervert.
For me he doean't have to fall in love with Ishu. I don't need all the romantic scenes, but yes her dignity should not be challenged in his house and he should not let it happen. Just for what she has done for him so far, even though she has bad character he should protect her. Ishita is doing it for him. She tolerates his such bad behavior and his family not alone saying sorry to his psycho kid and crap. Kekta buckle up and show woman to be respectful and powerful. Show that woman stand by each other regardless of who else is involved because in this story line its easy to do and its need of the time in our country.
At times I truly think, is it really Shagun's fault to leave Raman? If he treated her the same way him and his almost, because Mr. Sr. Bhalla seems alrigt, lunatic family treat Ishu then its not Shagun's fault. Please let the CVs know if you also support this cause!! Let me know your thoughts!!!

at the end of the day, this is a indian Tv soap. if you want it to pass responsible social messages then please look elsewhere. TRP's are what matters and melodrama brings in the ratings.
as for portraying strong women, ishita herself is a strong woman for standing up for her rights instead of staying quiet. simmi and toshiji's reactions are expected because that is what majority of india thinks

Raman's intentions are not exactly clear yet, but it seems like he is doing it to gather proof against the leech. so that when he exposes him, people will actually believe him.

I do understand this is a drama and it runs on TRPS, but I don't need to be told to go else where to look for social messages. TV does impact lives a lot today, so it is a medium that needs to send messages in right manner for the betterment of society. As you have your opinion, I have mine. I do not ask you to go anywhere, you are free to say what you like. AT the same time I don't need anybody telling me to go else where.

Well said methebest ! Well said!
I can feel the frustration. And why should you go elsewhere. This is the best place to vent out our fears of being a woman and not being understood.

After all isn't this track about sexual harassment of the worse kind? It is at home! Home where it is supposed to be your save heaven.

As for Toshi and Simi----Wives usually cling on to the fact that their husbands are innocent. They need to do that , for the simple reason, that if they dont, they loose their man and the father of their baby. So Simi I can understand. Toshi needs to look into it kindly. But she is so used to blaming Ishita for everything and anything , that this is a norm for her.

I agree with you ---- there is no need to fall in love { at the moment} but to respect your wife. But like someone who replied just above said--- he is probably trying to get evidence. It is the wise thing to do--- as IT IS between his wife and his sister.

And it is sad that she cant run to her husband for support. This association with the Ballas had brought her nothing but Ruhi {which is all she wanted} The Balllas have gained time and time again, but the Iyers have suffered through.

They went to jail. Romi destroyed Mihikas reputation. Romi's bribery thing might bring down her brother in law. She had tp handle Shagun. She had to apologise to a litte spoilt brat. Her nephew was bullied by a Balla. She is used time and time again by Raman who did not hesitate to call her names on a so called lost land deal. Mihika has to put up with Trisha{imagine her pain} Now she seems to have lost Mihir because of Raman. And now this Parmeet is growing mean and worse.

And yes, no need to remind me The Ballas nearly lost Ruhi because of Ishitas public opinion. But I think she paid enough for it.

However, I think your remark of Shagun leaving Raman is a tad unfair. Shagun is a *** thirsting for money. So Poor Raman.

As for folks who find a need to defend a show so personally--- PLEASE!! Stop telling members to go elsewhere. It IS members viewpoints that has made this show number 3 in the forum. If you are going to be rude about it---- no one would bother to write.

👍🏼 I loved your post! You hit all the right points and I think the CVs need to remember that their writing has a huge influence on the audience! The fact that this show is different in terms of content and story line and has a plethora of common issues in society is its USP; creatives need to step up and show realistic and appropriate ways of handling issues that countless women around India and outside deal with.

@berrysweet Thank you very much for your well worded input. I thought I was the only one who felt that way after the first reply in such a mean manner. But its nice to see that I am not the only one.

covered everything👏.
i second you.
i would like to wait and watch about what next.
its so realistic.nothing shown wrong.(as tm said).such things happen in real.there are families where their own parents dont support.once think about such ladies.
and yes there are people like mihir in real who in the name of respecting act such stupidly.
now i realised the impact of expressing thankyou to your loved ones(i.e raman telling thankyou scene importance).but still im unable to bring those words onto my lips.😕
great applause to cv's and ekta for this track and ishita characterisation👏

I agree with you! 90% of the marriages work based on trust, compromise and understanding... Love is not a necessary ingredient!
Maximum cases of molestation take place in victims own home... And the culprit is a close family member. Most victims refuse to complain or reveal their predicament fearing social stigma. My only demand is that the CV's should give this track a proper closure, Giving out a strong social message to the viewers. Be strong like Ishita and speak out! Be supportive parents like the Iyers!

Our society has an evil habit of attaching stigma to the victim and not the culprit. Hope this changes, hope this track is not put in just to garner TRP but and gets a meaningful conclusion.
