Just had to post a reply to this awesome post. I agree 100% with your sentiments. Simi as is shown always is a brainless woman and it was expected of her to support her husband. What surprised me a teeny bit was she didnt have even a doubt, when you consider there's already a case against him. As for HER Mom, i dont have anything to say against such a super brainless and hypocratic character. She is totally hopeless.
Coming to reality, its a sad fact that many women and even kids are not safe in their own homes. Also, as is shown in YHM, sadly in India there are still people who would support a Son in law over the DIL. Saddest part is this time, not even Mr.Bhalla who has been Ishita's supporter always stands with her at this, if according to spoiler. I would have thought atleast he would realise Ishita would not lie about such a thing. Total bunch of losers in one family, excpt Ruhi.
