Hey guys! Sorry for being late, i am down with viral fever!😭

Anyways here is the first chapter of the FF! I hope you like it!

CHAPTER 1 : And Here We Meet, Again.

She wore the translucent, pale pink stole around her neck fashionably and looked at herself one last time in the mirror.

"Pretty good." She told, still feeling a little unsure about the stole.

"Anyways, who cares?" she thought and picked up her bag. Well, today was an important day. So important that she actually dressed up consciously today. When it game to grooming, Ishita needed an occasion. She wasn't that person who thinks about what to wear the next day to make heads turn.

And after having a toast with some raspberry jam and butter, she set out, to give her first interview to a food magazine. After all, her cafe in Darjeeling was a "tourist place" literally. Flooded with customers ranging from every place and every age group, it was a blessing to the town.

It wasn't "her" cafe exactly, it was her grandparents' who had lived here all their life. Due to their death, she had moved here all the way from Delhi, just to continue a flourishing business. So, yes she was a new girl in town!

She sat quickly in her car and zoomed out of sight, as she headed towards the town.

Raman came out of his jaw dropping mansion which was decked up in white with beautiful trees spreading far. He was followed by his secretary and his assistant. His car came to a screeching halt and he immediately sat in and headed towards the place he went first, something that he had been doing since the past 5 years .

Ishita was nervously sitting in the lounge created for private meetings in the cafe. Her interviewer came and Ishita was bombarded with questions, which she tackled brilliantly.

Raman reached the place and gestured his assistant to get down and get his usual. He looked into his phone and then finding nothing interesting at all, he looked around. The lush green grass bathed with early morning dew looked like a field of emeralds. But then, something caught his eye.

Oh my! Was he seeing right? He looked closely this time and he couldn't believe it! He suddenly got down and went into the cafe, correctly named as "YOLO-You Only Live Once". He made his way inside.

Soft music hit his ears, creating a beautiful atmosphere. He walked ahead smiling at the woman that sat in the corner, nodding and shaking her head..just like she did before. A smile unknowingly crept onto his lips and his eyes were captivated by her...she was still the same..her innocent smile ..her selfless nature reflecting in those endearing eyes..

He walked slowly and tapped on the wooden wall.

"If i may disturb you" he said, grinning like an idiot.

The two ladies turned around due to the astonishing intrusion. Ishita's eyes pulled up and her mouth flew open. She was literally numb for a few sconds.

"Raman?" she said excitedly.

"Raman Kumar Bhalla? Omg!" she said and got up and walked up to him.

"Yes, Ishita Iyer aka Jhansi Ki Rani" he said playfully.

"God, you're still calling me that?" she said as she extended her hand for a shake.

He was expecting a hug perhaps. No problem, handshake was good too..i guess so.

They shook hands and then stood like that for a while not knowing what to say next. Then Ishita asked "So, what are you doing here?" .

"I have my business here, i own the tea company you're cafe's serving right now." He said with a twinkle in his eye.

"Aah! The usual show off!" Ishita said and giggled.

"So, what about you? Tamil Nadu se Darjeeling? Unko bhi apne lecture deke paka diya kya?" he asked.

"Haha very funny, i am running this cafe from now" she said smiling.

"Woah! That's great! Tell me about it!" he asked.

And so the interviewer left as she got what she had come for, then Ishita and Raman settled down with cups of tea and waiting to talk a lot...well after a whole 10 years.

The conversation started from the day they saw each other last..10 years ago..in Delhi when they were still young and blooming in 12 grade. The spoke about their lives after 12^th, the changes, the new future that was now their past..they spoke about the crazy things that happened in school, the masti, the teachers and especially their friends.

It felt so refreshing, the memories were something that they would cherish for the rest of their life. School days bring out the best on anyone.

Raman didn't realise that he just missed two important meetings when his Secretary came and told him.

Ishita asked him to go and told him that now we live in the same city so we can catch up any time to talk and all. Raman, reluctantly said goodbye, and looked at her one last time before leaving the cafe.

Ishita smiled innocently. "It indeed is a small world" she said to herself.

She thought about the way they both just met and smiled, who knew that she,after 10 years, would meet the guy who was her first crush! She smiled even more when that "crush" word popped up into her head.

It had been a long time since she had smiled like this, apart from one existing reason in her life she had nothing to smile about. Life had taught a lot of lessons, and she had better learnt from them. Future scared her, so did these kind of meetings.

Raman sat silently and looked at her one more time. She was smiling, he felt happy seeing that. But he did sense that something was wrong. What happened to that crazy girl who pulled his hair in school just to irritate him! Where was that girl who ran around with his stuff? Something had changed, but for now he was just happy that he met someone good from his past.

As his car drove away from the cafe into the translucent white fog, who knew that meetings like these don't happen without a reason, and that maybe this one, could probably change their life forever. Two grieved souls, fall in love faster.
