I agree with everyone. Just like a man slapping a woman is abuse, a woman slapping a man is also abuse. There's nothing great about women slapping men, though some people root for it all the time. A marriage is based on equal rights so Ishita should apologize for the slap. No one should be slapping anyone.

I agree with the highlighted statement. It's a marriage and should be founded on respect...

Like most people, I agree that Ishita should apologize to Raman for having slapped him when he wasn't at fault, and he had actually defended her.
As husband and wife, they should equally respect each other.

Ishita should apologise for slapping Raman. A slap is abusive be in a husband wife relationship or any relationship from either partner
And this slap was over a misunderstanding and now that it has been cleared an apology is due
The shower scene... maybe not needed...as there are other ways to deal with a drunk person... but for drama I guess was shown

It is not acceptable to go about slapping anyone. That is a no-no. And Ishita has to apologize for that. That said, Raman was totally wrong in equating her being drunk to his drinking. The two are very different. He drinks because he wants to. She got drunk without knowing she was drinking alcohol. His claim that "Now you know that people are not in their senses when drunk" - makes no sense at all. That is not the point at all. Ishita lectures him because alcohol is not an excuse.

Everyone is right here about equal rights, domestic violence and abuse and how he saved her from a big embarrassment.

But my reasons is different, I wanted her to apology not for the thappad but because its the first time, she realized she was wrong about Raman. Until now, she has always judged him based on her assumptions so this was a big step from her side to realize she is not always right and Raman is not the bas person she assume him to be.

Raman is not responsible for what she thinks about him but he is responsible for what he gives her to think about himself. He stood up for her, mainly because his mother was at fault but also it was about his honor since she is his wife tho he consider her only as Ruhis mother😛.

Domestic abuse is very serious ." Thappad "to any one is very insulting and humiliating ( specially to your spouse.) saying "Sorry " will not change the past but it sure can change Ishita's future . Saying sorry when you are wrong doesn't mean other Person is right it just means that you value your relationship more than your ego . Ishita was assuming that Ramen intentionally intoxicated her . She impulsively slapped him . He reacted like a gentle man .it's easy to hit someone back when you hate the person who slapped you .but he controlled himself . This shows his original personality not " damage " personality . I am glad Ishita apologized . Now she has earn respect from me.
