I don't know about Indian driving license but there is no requirement of giving my blood group info while getting my license made in US.

And about filling forms for giving birth only the mother's group would be important right why would he have to know his.

I think I can relate to forgetting one's own blood group. Its not everyday we speak about it so even I didnt know until I specifically referred to my birth certificate. Education or living in urban area has nothing to do with it. It's something so little we tend to forget unless you keep referring to it on everyday basis.

These days in India your driving licence has to have your blood group..
When mothers are admitted for delivery all known relatives are required to give their blood group in case blood is required in emegency.. standard procedure in delhi..again know it because of personal experience
Raman has never brought a health or life insurance ..these things are again pretty common..i live in India in delhi..there is no way with the number
Of forms an average dehlite has to fill to not know your blood group..
Almost all schools in delhi ask for blood group of child along with parents..
I repeat there is no way an urban educated man of 30 + years not knowing his blood group..atleast in delhi

I'm not from Delhi but looks like lots of paperwork requires blood group as for Delivery of kids it's normal to ask blood group of both parents in any country due to Rhesus factor.
So yes it's very strange he doesn't know his blood group - but again It's an Ekta show - always assuming her audience are uneducated and unaware!

Yes you are right ..rh factor also is an important reason for both parents to disclose their blood group..
This paternity track has no legs yet the CVs insist on dragging it ..for no rhyme or reason and then use bad logic to justify the actions of the Characters
