Raman is Ashok's target.

Honestly tho, I feel like Ashok probably gets off by making Raman's life terrible. He has nothing better to do and Raman is an easy target (he does lose his cool quickly). And he's willing to use anyone to make Raman suffer. Weird and pathetic really.

he wants to snatch ruhi from raman bcoz he knows ruhi is the only hope n happiness in raman's ife.W/o ruhi he will be all lonely. Coz he snatched his wife n son already. So hes playing a two way game.By making raman hate ruhi n by creating distances b/w ishra.

Raman is easy pick for Ashok's ego, he stole his wife right under his nose all those years ago, Aditya and now wants Ruhi for the same reason. Ashok's aim in life is to bully Raman and take away whoever or whatever he has.

Ashok is upset with Raman's success. He expected Raman to sit at home n cry n be like Devadas but never thought Raman would one day prove his equal and soon his better. This irks him. The supposed love he has for Shagun is gone so now he just wants to revenge Raman for proving to be his better.
Cunning fellow!!! He realized work wise he cant defeat Raman so has started emotional blackmail...
