If you happen to be in "Filmcity" in the wee hours of the morning and spot a tall good looking man running in a track suit, do not mistake him to be a spot boy running errands. It's none other than Karan of Zee TV's Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli who comes way before his call time and jogs around Filmcity's green pastures.

Fitness is the new mantra for Karan V Grover. "We actors have to constantly watch what we eat and have to stay fit. With our hectic schedules and continuous shooting, it becomes very difficult to manage our health."

An insider from the sets said, "Karan eats organic food, has plenty of leafy vegetables and fruits and ensures his daily water intake is more than 3 litres. He also plans to get a yoga trainer on the sets and learn power yoga. He is also keen to learn kick boxing as it will not only help build up physical strength but also improve mental stamina."

As far as his diet goes, Karan says being a Punjabi, he eats everything. "I don't like to restrict myself. But when I think as an actor I keep a watch on what I eat. When I was a child I was taught butter chicken and butter paneer are the best food for us but as I grew older I realised it may be the best food but not for my body," he says, laughing. So he starts his day with poha, omelette and cornflakes. "For lunch I prefer baingan bharta, roti, chane ki daal, most of the times I take home-cooked food. I don't take sweets after 6 in the evening. Also, by that time I reduce the intake of carbs. For dinner I take pasta, soup or grilled chicken. I try to keep my dinner light, carbs low and protein high." He elaborates, "I don't like street food but a plain dosa is fine for me. My favourite dish is rajma-chawal; I love Italian food, chicken and Punjabi food. A glass of milk is a must for me. My water intake is at least three litres a day."
