The production values are below par, especially after all the hype they made over 'the scale' of the show. The contestants are no match for other reality shows either. Last year in Indian Idol 5 they had Sreeram, Shivam, Shashi, Rakesh, Vishwas: X factor doesn't have enough finalists of this calibre.

Aditya has almost no role to play in the auditions. The judges' comments are bland and the audience reactions are usually fake. And the production quality sucks.

Regarding the topic - I think you guys always allow yourself into having very high expectations. You should take my route with these reality shows. No expectations always leads to no disappointments. 😆 I think the judges panel is strong, they may not have proven themselves in the auditions rounds, but I think they definitely have potential. They will be good mentors to the contestants. I also think there are some contestants that have good potential, but I guess only time will tell.

Indian Idol 5 was great, but remember how awful II4 was? I think this will be better than that. And I am certainly enjoying Sonu Nigam and Shreya as judges. I was initially skeptical about SLB, but I think he will prove himself otherwise. We'll see.

Ok lets move to the topic. Basically it's been so long I stopped myself to expect too much from the musical shows of this particular zone. Always drama drama and drama. Yeah I agreed that the judges panel is strong but so far they just failed to prove themselves. This is the only thing bothering me. And regarding the contestants what should I say! To me they are simply average in standards. Saw so many better singers before in Indian musical shows. So nothing to say about them.
