Let me first clarify that I do not support Vishal becaue of his background, but because he is a good singer. I personally think Vishal had a very good voice and voice modulation capabilities. Yes he comes from a humble background, but that's not what drew me to him. I was impressed by the very first note of his song in the auditions. It was precise, the exact nuance, tone, pitch, voice everything there was perfect. I heard his story later.

I understand that he needs a lot of training - esp. in diction. I still think he deserves a mentor who can give him that kind of intensive training and personal attention, which Shreya as a celebrity and a professional singer cannot. He needs a teacher not an endorser at the moment. Shreya can at best be a promoter, not the guide he needs.

However, if Shreya has undertaken to see that Vishal gets the training and exposure he deserves, then I'm glad for it. All I wanted to see was that a talented person gets the chance he deserves.

Totally uncalled for - I voiced my opinion on a event on TV show. There is no need to get personal.

You might be a Shreya fan, that doesn't mean that the rest of the world cannot criticize her. I called for an open discussion. Please don't start bashing here.

Replying to my criticism of Shreya was enough. There was no need to pass any comments on me or my motives. If you notice I've given a reasoned reply to your defense of Shreya.

I commented on what was part of a show and telecast publicly, you chose to remark on me and my motives. There is a difference between the two. While this forum exists precisely to discuss the show and the incidents telecast there, the rules forbid anyone from making personal remarks. Please refrain from personal attacks in future.

I was totally shocked too. I actually love his voice, not his story. And he is honest hardworking guy. He voice texture was nice. I think she should have picked him over the green eyed lady. The other 3 were excellent choices. I really hope the rickshaw driver doesn't give up! and he tries out again!!!

I'm not attacking you!! @bold i'm just defend this...You might have your own personal views...but you shouldn't post anything which may hurt others...specially when you don't know why Shreya rejected him...Thats it...

I thought the guy was really sweet - so humble and sincere ... Unlike people who misbehave and are over smart playing to the gallery ... He seemed genuine ...

But even i could feel that his singing was not as great as others ... and i have no training myself! ... so, if to un-trained person the song sounds off, i am guessing to a professional singer it sounds even worse ...

Ironically, my mom and i were discussing that they are definitely going to take him because it makes for good TRPs and votes ... It sounds a little cynical but his story is exactly the kind that reality shows love ... We were surprised that he did not make it ...

So good for shreeya! to make the right "musical" decision

Ok I don't want to get into bickering, but this show is just starting and a lot of people are going to make a lot of threads on each and every aspect of the show. So let's get this clear.

If I had made this statement in Shreya Ghoshal AT then you might've had the just cause to complain that I'm trying to hurt others. This topic was created to discuss the ouster of a particular candidate and the reasons thereof. A number of people have made comments on the rights and wrongs of the issue. No one has taken it to a personal level, except you.

This forum exists to discuss the show not keep praising Shreya Ghoshal. Like you I have the right to like or dislike a person and voice my opinion on the same. Have a reasoned discussion, don't get personal, else you will spoil the atmosphere of the forum, before the show has even begun properly.

When you made the post about why Shreya rejected him, that was sufficient. There was no need to make a second post about me. And seriously no one has the time to go trolling on FB and other news sites to go and discover why something happened.

I saw a show, had an opinion about it and voiced it. You had additional information about it, so you shared it. Why get personal at all? You were out of line with that personal comment, accept it and let's drop the matter there.
