Rahul- (to himself as he watches her walk away) Baat bhi nahi ki aur kudi bhi gayee! Chal oye, abhi uska mood bhi theek nahi lag raha tha. Baad mein baat karoonga.

Dr. Keerti- Yes sister?
Nurse- Dr. Keerti woh Dr. Shashank ne kaha hai ki woh patient jiski small intestine mein kuch problem thi uski surgery cancel karvaa di gayee hai. Kyunki woh patient ab stable hai.
Dr. Keerti- Okay. Thank you sister. (nurse leaves) Well, Dr. Muskaan... aapko aaj Dr. Shashank ko uss hi surgery mein assist karna tha... lekin kyunki woh ab cancel ho chuki hai toh ab aap bhi Dr. Rahul ke saath General Ward mein rahengi. (Muskaan nods) You may all leave.

Rahul- (with patient) Ab aapka BP normal hai. Aap apni medicines le lijiye uske baad... (looks at Muskaan checking an elderly patient who is giving her aashirwaad)
Patient- (jokingly) Kya baat hai Dr. Rahul? Aaj aap baar baar atak rahe hain...
Rahul- Huh? Oh sorry.
Patient- (jokingly) Kaafi der se dekh raha hoon. Aapki nazarein ghoom phir ke seedhe Dr. Muskaan pe aake ruk jaate hain. Yeh kya chal raha hai?
Rahul- (blushes) Nahi nahi. Aisi koi baat nahi hai. Woh main...
Patient- Baat vaat bani ke nahi?
Rahul- Aisa kuch nahi hai. Aap apni medication lijiye aur araam kijiye. (smiles and sees Muskaan going) Okay take care. (goes behind her) Muskaan!
Muskaan- (gets scared from his sudden scream) Oye! Koi marr raha hai kya?
Rahul- Hain? Nahi toh...
Muskaan- (angry) Toh phir tu cheekha kyun?!
Rahul- Woh... woh mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni thi.
Muskaan- Dekh piddhe... mujhe tujhse baat nahi karni. Samjha! (turns to leave)
Rahul- Muskaan... sun naa. (walks next to her) Dekh, waise bhi abhi humaari break hai. Toh chal naa. Cafeteria mein behat ke baat karte hain.
Muskaan- Mujhe... tujhse... koi... baat... NAHI KARNI! Kaan kharaab hain kya tere? Khotha na hove te!
Rahul- Oye tu meri baat sunlegi toh tera kya jaayega?
Muskaan- Dimaag aur time.
Rahul- Please yaar. Sunle naa. PLEASE!!!! (falls to the floor and grabs her feet) PLEASE!!!!
Muskaan- (embarrassed because people were watching) Oye kya kar raha hai? Utth! Abbey utth naa...
Rahul- Pehle tu meri baat sunegi ki nahi?
Muskaan- Dekh, sab log dekh rahe hain. Tu utth.
Rahul- Sunegi toh utthoonga.
Muskaan- Haan sunoongi. Tu pehle utth.
Rahul- (stands) Ab chalein?
Muskan- Kitthe?
Rahul- Cafeteria. (Muskaan goes with him)

Atul- Arre Anjali please.

Atul- Achha toh phir tumhaara favorite sprout sandwich laaoon?
Anjali- Atul, please. Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye.
Atul- Nahi? Achha theek hai. Lekin tumhe khaana chahiye Anjali. Dekho kitni kamzor hogayee ho.
Anjali- Atulllll...
Riddhima- Di... itna keh raha hai toh khaalo naa. Bechaara kitne pyaar se bol raha hai.
Anjali- Ridzie please. Ab tum bhi mat shuru hojaao.
Ridz- Okay. (gives a sympathetic look to Atul)
Armaan- (walks in) Hey Champ, hey gorgeous!

Armaan- (sits next to Ridz) Hey buddy.

Armaan- So... kya chal raha tha?
Anjali- What else? Atul ke hote hue kuch exciting ho sakta hai? (Armaan laughs)

Rahul- (thinking) Inn sab ko bhi yehi time mila tha aane ke liye?
Armaan- (notices him thinking) (whispers) Oye... tujhe kya hua?
Rahul- (disappointed) Kya yaar tum sab ko bhi abhi aana tha?
Armaan- Kyun? Tune iss time ke liye cafeteria reserve kiya hua hai?
Rahul- Abbey chup kar yaar. Mujhe Muskaan se bohot zaroori baat karni thi.
Armaan- Zaroori baat? (Rahul tells him) Ohhhhh... have no fear. Armaan is here! Main in sabka kuch karta hoon.
Anjali- Atul! Stop it naa.
Atul- Arre Anjali please. Tumhe zaroorat hai.
Muskaan- Kyun footage khaa rahi hai? Jo khilaa raha hai woh toh khaa nahi rahi.

Armaan- Abbey Champ usko nahi khaana toh kyun force kar raha hai?
Anjali- Exactly! (pagers ring) You know first time I'm thankful ki yeh pager baj gaya. Warna Atul ne toh mujhe khilaa ke hi chodna tha. See you later guys. (all leave except R-M)

Rahul- (stops him and whispers) Oye. Yeh kaise hua?

Muskaan- Kya bakdi ki tarhaan main main kar raha hai. Seedhi tarhaan bolna hai toh bol warna main jaa rahi hoon. (gets up to go)

Rahul- Agar nahi.. toh koi problem nahi hai.
Muskaan- Abbey oye! Break maar! Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaya. Araam se bol taaki mere jaise normal insaan samajh sakein.
Rahul- (deep breath) Main keh raha tha ki... agar tu... Tu aaj shyaam ko kya kar rahi hai?
Muskaan- (gives him an awkward look) Duty...
Rahul- Duty ke baad yaar.
Muskaan- (sarcastically) Gidda paoongi. (rolls her eyes) Ghar jaoongi aur kya? (impatiently) Kyun?
Rahul- Nahi woh main soch raha tha ki... agar tu busy nahi hai toh... (expectantly) ice cream khaane chalegi mere saath?
Muskaan- (confused) Tere saath...
Rahul- (worried she'd say no) Dekh ab yeh mat kahiyo ki tu mere saath zeher bhi nahi khaayegi.
Muskaan- Ice cream?
Rahul- Haan... kyun?
Muskaan- Nahi... tujhse... khayee jaayegi?
Rahul- (thinks about what she says) Kya keh rahi hai yeh yaar? (remembers)
Childhood Flashback. Age 5!!!!
Rahul- Uncle uncle... mujhe eik chocolate ice cream cone chahiye.
Ice cream vendor- Aelo puttar ji.
Rahul takes it and happily starts walking eating his ice cream. As he's walking, he sees Muskaan coming towards him.
Rahul- Phitte moo. Yeh yahaan kyun aa rahi hai? Chipkali kahin ki.
Muskaan- Oye kaankhajure! (Rahul stops walking and looks at her) Tune mere baal kheeche the naa. Yeh le! (throws his ice cream on the floor)
Rahul- Oye! Tune meri ice cream kyun phenki?
Muskaan- Kyunki tune mere baal kheeche!
Rahul- (pulls her hair again) Ab kya karegi?
Muskaan- Ice cream khaani hai? Yeh le! (pushes him on the floor and he falls face flat onto the ice cream) (starts laughing) Ice cream kaisi hai Rahul? (laughs even harder then walks away while the other little kids stand around and laugh at an embarrassed Rahul)
End of flashback!!!
Rahul- (smiles thinking about how much they used to fight and looks over at Muskaan who was trying really hard to control her laughter by not making eye contact) (he smiles again) Haan... Khayee jaayegi. (smiles)
Muskaan- (looks up at him and shrugs still trying to control her laughter) Teri marzi.
Rahul- (excited) Matlab... tu chalegi?
Muskaan- (kind of annoyed) Haan... Chaloongi.
Rahul- Perfect! Uh... mera matlab... hum duty ke fauran baad chalenge.
Muskaan- Dimaag kharaab hogaya hai kya? Meri Dhanno ka kya hoga? (walking out of the cafeteria together)
Rahul- Abbey haan yaar. Teri Dhanno... achha theek hai. Tu naa, apni Dhanno pe ghar jaana aur main tere peeche apni car mein aajaoonga. Tu apni Dhanno wahin chod dena aur phir meri car mein chalenge. Theek hai naa?
Muskaan- (in the corridor) Haiye Rabba. Mera dimaag ghoom raha hai tere iss plan se. Ab tu meri baat sun! Main jaoongi ghar. Apni Dhanno pe.
Rahul- Aur phir main tujhe baad mein aake pick up karloonga. Theek hai?
Muskaan- Pehli baar akal ki baat ki hai.
Rahul- (excited) Toh phir theek hai. Main tujhe 7:30 pe pick up karoonga. Bye... (backing up and smiling)
Muskaan- (trying to stop him) Rahul....
Rahul- (laughing and backing up) Bye... (waving)
Right then Rahul trips off something and falls into someone's arms.
Lovely- (holding Rahul in her arms with the biggest smile on her face) Oh ji Rahul ji aap!
Rahul- (looks at her and screams) Ahh. Mera matlab Lovely ji... thank you. (smiles nervously while she's still holding him in her arms)
Muskaan- (throwing her head back and laughing as she watched all of this from 20 feet away) (says to herself) Paagal munda. (walks away laughing)
Rahul- (admired her as she laughed and watched her walk away, but she turned around once to look back at him and smiled before walking back to the General Ward) (remembered his position) Lovely ji... (smiles nervously) zara chodengi please. Mujhe duty ke liye jaana hai.
Lovely- (smiles) Oh ji koi baat nahi. Aap jaaye. (smiles)
Rahul- Aap... chodengi toh jaoonga. (smiles)
Lovely- Oh sorry ji. (let's him get up)
Rahul- Okay... bye Lovely ji. (pinches her cheeks out of happiness)
Lovely- Bye ji. (blushes and leaves)
After duty outside Muskaan's house!!!
Rahul- (waiting outside) Kya karoon? Horn bajaaon yaan phir phone karoon...
Muskaan- (comes out and sits in the car as he's STILL deciding what he should do) Oye! (snaps her fingers in front of his face)
Rahul- Tu kab aayee?
Muskaan- Main toh abhi abhi ayee... lekin tu bahar kabse behata hai? Bataa toh deta ki tu aagaya hai. Woh toh maine by-chance bahar dekhliya warna tu toh yaheen behata rehta.
Rahul- (expectantly) Tu... mera intezaar kar rahi thi?
Muskaan- (nervous) Nahi toh... main tera intezaar kyun karoongi? Uhh... ab chalein?
Rahul- Haan. (starts driving) Music?
Muskaan- Yeh gaadi teri hai naa? Toh jo teri marzi ho woh kar. Mujhe kyun pooch raha hai?
Rahul switches on the radio and a really beautiful love song was playing. Even though neither Rahul nor Muskaan are too fond of love songs, neither one of them complained to what was playing. Maybe because they felt the magic that the song was supposed to bring. And what more could they ask for than the fact that just then... it started raining. Not a storm but light beautiful rain.

Rahul and Muskaan were both so spell bound by the song that they didn't even realize when they reached the ice cream parlor. Rahul parked the car and came out to open Muskaan's door. Muskaan came out slowly not knowing what she should say. They stood there for about 5 minutes while Rahul and Muskaan both avoided eye contact and were looking around.
Rahul- (breaking the awkward silence) Andar... andar chalein?
Muskaan- Huh? Haan. (they go in)
Rahul- Tu behat main ice cream laata hoon.
Muskaan- Par...
Rahul- Mujhe pata hai. Bachpan se eik hi flavor toh pasand hai tujhe. (smiles) (Muskaan smiles)
Rahul comes back with the ice cream. Muskaan ki mango flavor aur Rahul ki chocolate, and then he sits down...
Muskaan- (surprised) Tujhe abhi tak yaad hai...
Rahul- Hairaan kyun ho rahi hai? Bachpan se jaanta hoon tujhe. Itna toh main shayad khud ko nahi jaanta jitna tujhe jaanta hoon. (Muskaan laughs)
Muskaan- Sorry.
Rahul- Kis liye?
Muskaan- Maine tujhe dhakka maara tha naa.
Rahul- Log ghalti karne ke fauran baad sorry kehte hain.. tu pehli ladki hai jo 17 saal baad sorry keh rahi hai. (both laugh)
Muskaan- Oye maine sorry kehdiya hai wohi bohot badi baat hai. Warna main har kisi ko sorry nahi bolti.
Rahul- Pata hai. (smiles)
Muskaan- Achha eik baat bataa... aaj yeh ice cream... koi khaas baat?
Rahul- Aiwaiyee...
Muskaan- Aiwaiyee toh tu mujhe ice cream ke liye nahi bolega... sach sach bataa Rahul. Tune isme kuch milaaya toh nahi hai?
Rahul- Muskaan... main...
Muskaan- ...Itna bura bhi nahi hoon. (laughs) Oye thand rakh thand. Apni shakal dekhi hai? Main toh mazaak kar rahi thi yaar.
Rahul- Muskaan... woh... tu... mujhse dosti karegi?
Muskaan- Dosti? (laughs) Dost nahi hoti toh tere saath kabhi nahi aati. Jhagadti hoon, lekin tujhse nafrat nahi karti. Samjha! Gadhaa. (laughs) Par haan, iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki hum dono ke beech mein kuch bhi badlega. Agar tune mujhse zyaada bak bak ki toh main teri band bajaa dongi. (laughs)
Rahul- (smiles) Muskaan teri naak pe ice cream lagi hai.
Muskaan- Kya? Aur tu ab bataa raha hai! (rubs the tip of her nose) Hogaya? (Rahul puts ice cream on the tip of his finger when she's not paying attention)
Rahul- (evil smile) Nahi. Eik minute. (leans forward and puts the ice cream on her nose) Ab hogaya.
Muskaan- (feels the cold ice cream on her nose) Abbey oye! Yeh kya harkat hai?
Rahul- (dying of laughter) Tu badi cute lag rahi hai.
Muskaan- Tujhe toh main chodoongi nahi!
Rahul- (laughing) Itna ghussa karti hai. Dekh, ice cream bhi pigal gayee. (wipes it off her nose) Hogayee saaf. Ab khush? (both smile)
After a while they both leave...
In the car, on the way back, both of them talk about their childhood and how much they used to fight. Eventually they reached Muskaan's house. It was 7:30 when they left and now it was about 10:00 p.m.
Rahul- (stops in front of Muskaan's house) Le. Aagaya tera ghar.
Rahul smiles and turns to look at her and sees that she's fast asleep. He didn't want to wake her because already she was tired from the heavy work load at the hospital today and she'd have to wake up early for work tomorrow. At first he admired her sleeping and then he decided to take her inside. He took the keys of her house out of her jhola (Punjabi style bag) and got out of his car to open the door. Then he came back and slowly lifted her out of the car and took her inside the house. He carried her up the stairs to her bedroom and gently put her down on her bed. He put her jhola on the table next to her and took off her juttis. Slowly, he pulled the covers over her and turned to leave when he felt something tug at his sleeve. He thought that Muskaan woke up and when he turned around to see what she wanted, he saw that her bracelet was stuck on his sleeve. He smiled and slowly untangled her bracelet from the thread on his sleeve. He kissed her on the hand and slowly laced his fingers with hers. He kneeled down next to her bed and sat there for about 10 minutes. At about 10:30 p.m., he decided to leave, so he got up and made sure she was still sleeping. Before leaving, very slowly, he unlaced his fingers from hers and set her hand back on the bed, and gently kissed her on the cheek before turning to leave. As he headed towards the door of her bedroom, he heard her stirring. He went back to make sure she didn't wake up and saw something that left him mesmerized. She had the sweetest smile on her face. Rahul took one last look at her and moved a few strands of hair from her face and kissed her on the forehead and once again, turned to leave. Once again, Muskaan moved around a bit with the same sweet smile on her face, but this time she seemed to be glowing. Her hand hit the remote control of her sound system and the radio turned on.

It was the same song that Rahul-Muskaan had been listening to in the car. While the song was playing, Muskaan's smile became brighter, as moments of the time she and Rahul had spent that day were going through her mind. Unknowingly, in her sleep, she said what she might not have been able to say while she was in her senses.
Muskaan- (smiling a cute smile still in her sleep) Rahul...
Rahul- (kept walking but smiled) Neend mein kabse bolne lag gayee? Jhalli kudi.
Muskaan- (still smiling) I love you Rahul...
Rahul stopped dead in his tracks. He was going through so many phases at the same time. It hit his body like lightening. Happiness, excitement, longing, shock, love... He quickly looked back at Muskaan and went to her side.
Rahul- (talking to her sleeping figure) Kya kaha tune?
Muskaan- (repeating her words over and over while she smiled) Rahul I looooove you... Main tujhse bohoooooooot pyaar karti hoon.
Rahul- (smiling the brightest smile in the world) (holds her hand) Main bhi tujhse bohot pyaar karta hoon Muskaan. (kisses her hand and smiles) Muskaan...
Muskan- (says this one last time and the and drifts off to a quiet, peaceful sleep) I love you Rahul...
Rahul- (laughs to himself) Kaash tu jaagte hue yeh kehthi. (smiles) I love you Muskaan... (gets up and switches off the radio and walks out humming.... Pehla yeh pehla... pyaar tera mera soni...)
Okay I know that was extremely long and boring. Personally, I liked my Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai better. Oh well. My honest attempt for all of you. This was my 2nd birthday gift for all of you! Love you guys!!!
