Thanks a lot. In this piece of writing I am actually trying to portray the beautiful episodes from the VanaParva where the sage writer was quite open to describe the subtle human relations.

I know you must hide him for a while to reveal a great starting point of your interesting story with his entry . 😊

I am very much happy that you like the story and my writing. Don't worry. Arjun will sure to enter in my story. till then, please be with me in this process of unravel the ancient world of the epic.

PART II: THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

The group continues to travel through the vast region of the Jambudwip. So many sacred places, rivers, forests, mountains are there to explore and also the company of a number of pious persons, sages to enrich the soul and knowledge of life ---- the experience of this long term travel ignites a fresh energy, patience and realization in Yudhisthira's mind and body. The other members of his team must have the same feelings ... He is very much sure about that. He is only worried about their wife. Though Panchali is accompanying them with full courage and patience, still the hurdles of the way sometimes create extreme hardship for her. They have a unique combination in their team...from aged, veteran sages, frail Brahmins, strong khatriya warriors to delicate, young lady. The sages and the Brahmins can understand this complex combination also, so they often give them enough space to maintain privacy. Yudhisthir is to lead the team along with the sages Lomasha, Dhaumya and some others. Bhim remains in the middle of the group to protect the Brahmins. Nakul and Sahadev remain with Draupadi and they usually remain at the end row of the group. It is not easy for Panchali to maintain the equal speed with the others. Either Nakul or Sahadev has to support her from time to time. At first Draupadi felt ashamed to hold her husbands so closely in the presence of so many outsiders. But the sage Dhaumya has a kind of fatherly feelings for her and sensing her hesitation at once has rearranged the queue so that she can be comfortable with her husbands. Now Draupadi generally walks with her husbands at the end of the group maintaining a comfortable distance from them. As Yuddhisthir accompanies the sages and Brahmins and Bhimsen takes the middle order so it fells on Nakul and Sahadev to take a total care of Panchali. Either of the twins walks side by side with her and the other remains at the end of the group. Though Draupadi tries her best to be steady at every moment but her delicate body does not always supports her. She often losses her foot, stumbles or gets tired. But Nakul and Sahadev are so concerned about her that whenever she faces a difficulty two strong arms are always there to hold her tightly, keeps her closely so that she would not be hurt. Even being embarrassed in the presence of others Panchali likes this embrace of her husband. It reflects not only the care and concern for her but also a kind of sensation and desire which refreshes her at once. Nakul as usual being a naughty guy deliberately makes his grip tighter around her waist or delays to release her from his hold. Draupadi understands all these but in the present situation she is quite helpless to react adversely. Her beautiful eyes shines with mock anger and her forbade only encourages him to continue with all these sweet mischief.

If Nakul is over confident in his mischief then his twin supposes to be over caring to his wife. As Draupadi is not well accustomed to walk barefooted on the rough surfaces of the land she often stumbles, gets injured and has to take some aid and rest throughout the journey. It is quite natural and everybody knows it. But what Shadev does in these situations is really interesting. His face becomes dark, the quiet, patient guy turns to be the most restless and confusing person of the world. Sometimes he even puts Draupadi's feet on his lap and starts massaging. Panchali gets no way to hide her in front of others. She often tries to pull back her legs or gestures desperately to stop her husband, but Sahadev is not in a mood to pay attention to all these useless things. Sometimes she tries to prevent him verbally, but those innocent, deep, thoughtful eyes seem to be failed to understand anything other than the comfort of his sweetheart.

Bhima's anxiety and concern, too, increase these days so much. He is with her with his entire prowess and authority, still a hidden fear of losing her always overpowers him. He cannot overcome from the trauma of Draupadi's humiliation and his painful helplessness on that day of the dice game. Now Panchali seems to be quite stable, contended and happy with them in this exile but Bhima's guilty conscious mind never allows him to enjoy her unique company fully. Even in this pilgrimage tour his eyes constantly roves around her just to ensure her safety and comfort. Bhim collects fruits, water for the whole team but it is his regular practice to sit beside her while taking food. He sometimes tries to feed her by his hand but Panchali's quick, meaningful gestures forces him to control his emotions. But she cannot ignore those restless, compassionate eyes of her beloved. What do they want to say or know? He is with her but still Bhima's heart and soul always seeks to be closer, to be more deeply absorbed within her. At night Draupadi often senses his presence beside her just to enquire her safety. Sometimes while sleeping he places her head on his lap or extends his shoulder to keep her head comfortable. Panchali can feel everything but never let him know. Only a meaningful, sweet posture or some tender touches spell out all the hidden, untold feelings of her.

Yudhisthir is quite different from his younger brothers. In this journey he has to lead the group so that he cannot be with Draupadi. But even if he would be with her what will he does? Panchali often asks this to herself and smiles at her own foolishness. Neither he can be mischievous like Nakul, over caring like Sahadev nor can he be so expressive like Bhim. If he can be like them it will be a new experience for Draupadi but whatever really he is, suits to his towering personality. Even in this journey, Yudhisthir throws his cautious, curious glances at his wife from time to time. He knows she is well protected by his brothers but how can he console his anxious mind? From the very beginning of their married life he was suffering from this uneasy fear and tension of losing her. He could not share his problem with the others not even with Panchali. The fateful dice game episode has only deepened this helplessness. Now Draupadi seems to be quite relaxed but Yudhisthir cannot fully overcome his tension. While they usually take rest or eat he comes to his beloved. His eyes and heart are about to burst out with various emotions but he cannot express anything. Only two casual, general queries "Are you alright?" He feels ashamed at once for this awkward question. She must be offended with me'----Yudhisthir assumes it always. Alas! The mighty Dharmaraj fails to realize the sweet, caring, lovable tone of his own voice. Otherwise he never is so disturbed. But the other person whom he addresses can understand it clearly. The nodding of her head with slight rays of smile on her lips expresses all her realization. I have accepted you Yudhisthir with all your innocence and vulnerability, but I still have this dream to make you express your all emotional feelings before me'---The lovely face of Draupadi shines with all her desire and confidence once more. Yudhisthir cannot stare at this ravishing beauty any longer otherwise he will lose all his self control.

Draupadi feels quite comfortable these days. Though the journey is stressful and tough, but the calming feelings of visiting so many pious lands and the sensuous company of her husbands let her free from other worldly hazards. Only often a painful, scorching feeling disturbs her peaceful mind. He is not with me'---Though the whole plan of travel was designed following his wish and their ultimate destiny is to meet him again, but this long separation with Arjun never let Panchali enjoy her life properly.' Please Arjun, come back soon. I am waiting for you'"every night Draupadi prays this looking up to the sky. Perhaps the stars have the power and speed to cover this long, long distance which she now cannot. Perhaps they will carry her message to her love and request him to end this separation.
