Uhm, so, I loved this chapter. Finally, Dharani managed to talk to her father about this. She is a strong independent girl. I also find the part about how she feels bad about not having the same connection with her father very touching.

Absolutely beautiful update, Bhu! 👏

This part made me blush. It's just so perfectly written, so romantic and yet so divine.

Exactly at that time, she felt His hand, gliding over the top of her forehead, where her maang is waiting to be filled. He took some kumkum and applied it there. This action gave her the strength to go through everything, and come out successfully.

I am glad Dharani shares a slightly better relationship with her father and he's making the attempt to understand her now.

I hope you rectify their relationship by the end of the story. Dharani is MA, and I want her to have a loving relationship with her parents, at least by the end. After all, I don't think Bhudevi would close herself off and lose all hope that their relationship would improve. She would give them a chance to redeem themselves, because she is a Devi and Devi gives human beings second chances.

Whatever you do, I know it'll be great. 😳

I love the idea of the Meenakshi kumkum for two reasons: Dharani's love for Ma Parvati, and the part where Narayan fills her maang. That was scripted amazingly, and the reference of rising from the ashes.
Bhudevi/Dharani, her drive, her focus and the confidence with which she spoke to her father, that shows that though she doesn't want to dwell on what transpired, she is strong enough to learn from what had happened and not allow it to mar her future.

I also find the part about how she feels bad about not having the same connection with her father very touching.
Truly, the chapter had some divine elements and I am looking forward to more.

Exactly.
She loves them, yes. But she is more duty bound than anything else.
